Loran Helm

Reverend Loran William Helm (1916–2006). Born on February 3, 1916, in Parker City, Indiana, Loran Helm, often called Brother Helm, was an evangelical pastor and author renowned for his book A Voice in the Wilderness, which chronicles his ministry’s journey. Raised in a modest family, he felt a divine call to preach at a young age, experiencing a profound baptism of love and power early in his career that shaped his Spirit-led approach. In 1934, he married Florence Martha Spence, and they had three children, raising them amid his growing ministry. Helm’s preaching emphasized self-denial, obedience to the Holy Spirit, and pursuing revival, drawing thousands to his “Waiting on God” meetings across the U.S., where attendees sought divine guidance and unity. In the mid-1960s, he co-founded Revival For Our Day (RFOD, later Found Ministries), a nonprofit supporting his itinerant evangelism, with sermons like “Seek Ye First” (1995) and “Being Led of the Holy Spirit” (1978) preserved online. A passionate supporter of Israel, he led over 28 pilgrimages to the Holy Land and ministered in Europe and Africa. Helm authored no other major works but inspired a network of churches through RFOD’s newsletters. He received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity in the late 1980s. Helm died on June 13, 2006, in Parker City, saying, “That which God begins never ends.”

Take part, children. God has something for you someday if you're faithful, if you're true, if you give Him all the glory and all the honor. He'll have a little corner for you down somewhere in Macedonia, if you're glad to be and just have nothing. You know, when we started out, I wasn't looking for anything. When I started out, I was just looking to do God's will, that's all. I didn't worry about going to live, going to school, that I was going to make it for one day or the next. But I was just as thrilled and as happy down in the lowlands of Macedonia. Didn't know how I was going to pay my rent or anything. Oh, I was happy. I was happy to have everything, didn't have anything like that. But it felt like I had lost. I felt like I had lost. I was so happy. Oh, I was so delighted. No. Oh, no. Just rejoice. That's my wife. That's my sweetheart. I'm 46 years. We're still in a love affair. Oh, I love you to see you. We had quite a time. You see, young people, if you're faithful, your companion will be more wonderful to you in 40 years than when you started. I know, because we've been together 46, and God's helped us. In every way. Every way. Gotten steadily better. I love work. See, I know. My wife knows. So I tell young men and women, be encouraged, be faithful to God, put Jesus Christ first. I've never killed her once, never spat at her once, never even slapped her like that once. Never tried to trick her once. Never once. If I'd done that, you see, I'd grieve the Holy Spirit. So I've never played tricks on her, never got after her. My children never heard me say, now lookie here now. Never once. Never yelled at her, never argued with her. I had to die out. Each one of us had to die out. But if you will put Jesus Christ first, your marriage will get better and better and better as years go by. See, I know, because it really works. A lot of times, young people think, well, when they get old, certain relationships will grow weary. No, they don't. No, they don't. They grow better. How? A genius does it. I want to tell you it works. I know how to make every young man and woman so delighted, because I know, I've tried it. See, I fell in love with her when I was 17 years old. Fell in love with a father and a mother, too. I loved them, oh, I loved them so much that if you put it on a scale, I think a meter. I don't know where it slipped to. I tell you, God really wants us to walk with Jesus. I'd be faithful to him and love everybody in all the world. Christianity is to be the best, the home. That's where we're tried the most, touched the most. That's where the devil fights us the hardest, is at home. But Jesus will help us as we pray and trust him. And it's like that all the way. Everyone has these same trials. Everybody has the same trials and tests. It's similar. Now, if you're really doing Jesus will, you'll have more severe ones. But remember, you've got a greater helper. You've got a greater helper when you're going with Jesus, because he will bear you through. Now, you see so many people in the entertainment world have broken up and gotten this woman and gotten that fellow and this one, and they've tried three or four or five or six, and they're still not happy. Oh, you just get the one Jesus wants, and you pray, and it'll become better and better and better and better. For Jesus does it that way. Now, this is a wonder. And it really is true. Hallelujah. So I want to encourage you to be obedient. Exalt the blood of Jesus Christ. Plead his blood. Plead his precious blood. Whatever you plead the blood of Jesus, demons have to retreat. That's about the only thing other than rebuking the demons in the name of Jesus. I was in West Brimton. Al and Barbara were with me. And Roger was with me in Virginia. My wife, Reverend Mrs. Morgan. There were 14 at that table with me. It was after waiting upon God. And we had such a wonderful time at that table, they said we ought to have a meeting next year or the next time after waiting upon God. It's been so good. Well, that's what happened. But at that table, I was facing the wall, real close to the wall. I couldn't see back at me, anyone in the building, just the dear ones around the table with me. And Mother Wiggles said to me, she said, there's a man looking at you so hard right back at you. I said, I can feel him, but I can't see. She said, he's just looking awful hard at you. And just the moment, she called our secretary, Reverend Lee, and said, I want to talk to that man right there. Well, you know, if you turn around and talk to somebody you can't see, and you don't know, you need wisdom to know how to care for them, love them. Because everyone needs love and tenderness. There isn't anyone who needs condemnation and abuse, not anybody. Just love and care, tenderness. No criticism. So when I turned around, and he said, I want to talk to you. And I said, yes. He said, I am the worst sinner. He said, you name it and I've done it. He said, I'm the worst man. He said, I am at the end. He said, can you help me? No, why would he ask me when I was sitting right back to him? I couldn't see him. I was about six, seven feet from him, wasn't I? Something like that. He said, can you help me? I said, no, I can't, but I have another brother that can. He said, I need it because I am at the end. That meant at the end, he'd gone as far as he could go. So we took him to room number 110, and went in with a few men of God. Mark Brewer was there, remember? And I shared with him how we find Jesus, how we find the kingdom of God. And began. Then Reverend Morgan shared it with him. And then Fr. Brother Oliver was there next. And then the next minister. And the next, he says, I am awful. I am lost. I am wild after women and drink. You name it, I'm in it. I need help. Can someone help me out of here? And the next minister. And after an hour, I said, Lord, what is the, what, are we in here? He says, we've all given the plan of salvation. I said, Jesus, what is it? Then he spoke to me and told me what was wrong. He told me how many demons this man had. So I pledged the blood of Jesus Christ over all living souls. And I said, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I command these demons out. And he started choking. He started choking. I'll tell you this. Isn't it something? Oh, he started choking. And in about 30 seconds, less than that, I want to tell you if you ever saw a happy man, he was one. He was one. We pledged the blood and cried out and asked Jesus to help. And he went over and kissed my wife's hand and Reverend Morgan's wife, Dorothy's hand. And he said, you're the most wonderful people that I've ever seen. You're the most wonderful people in the world. Well, we weren't. We just went in when he found Jesus. We were the least ones. We were the least ones. The little ones. The trusting ones. He said, I want you to start praying for my buddies. He said, they're not as lost as I am because I'm worse, worse than they are. But I want them to get what I've got. I want you to pray for my buddies. They're lost. They're lost. Yes, he had new cars coming through. He said, what ever got me in this place? How did I ever get in where you were? He was driving to Detroit, to some other state in some other city. Stopped in Addison, Indiana, high into the minute, when we were seated at a table to find him. And we asked that in the name of Jesus Christ, and that is the demons would leave him. They left him. And were bound in the bottomless pits. And he was so free that he thought it was. He said, look out there. It's a beautiful day. Oh, how wonderful. Why? Oh, we have to resist Satan, because the devil's going about as a roaring lion, the Bible says. Taking whom he may devour, as he has inhabited most the people on earth. Oh, Brother Ham, I didn't want to hear that. Well, that's just the truth. But God's gracious to you and I can make it every day. This is the blood of Jesus. It's through obedience and being faithful and true to him in every area of our life. Because he loves all of us. We're all the same. No differences. But we must praise the Lord for the precious blood of Jesus. And when you plead the blood of Jesus, demons retreat. Now that is wonderful to know. That's one of the spiritual secrets is pleading the blood. When you feel yourself becoming a little upset and angered, just tell the devil, Get him and plead the blood of Jesus. God deliver me. And every one of us has battles and struggles. We have to plead the blood and tell the devil he's a liar. And I want to tell you, you have to tell the devil, if you walk with God, you have to tell the devil he's a liar every once in a while. If you really walk, now if you don't walk with Jesus, you won't have much trouble like this. Because he'll tell you you're not too bad. The devil will tell you, you're about as good as someone else. He tells everyone that he has, they're not too bad. Just about as good as anyone else. But anyone that's walked with Jesus, he tells them they're not saved. He tells everyone that's saved, they're not saved. He tries to talk them out of salvation, saying you'll never make it to heaven. Everyone that's walking with God, Satan, will tell them all kinds of things like this. How long has he been telling you that? Ever since I started with him, 46 years ago. Reverend Paul S. Hill is one of the most modest Christian men I know in the world. He praises God about as much as, more than most people I know anywhere. He's been in the United Methodist Church, Christ's Methodist Church and Selma for 25 years. And he's a man, if he was here tonight, you'd hear him praise the Lord. You wouldn't have to ask him to do it. And it'd be spontaneous, it'd be like melodies just flowing out of him. And it doesn't matter if it's 200 miles, he's still praising God. If we go to Israel or India, he's praising God on the way back just like he did when he went over. And he tells me that the devil has told him the same thing that he's told me. For all the years he's been saved. He says the devil tells me the same thing that he's told you. I said, Reverend Hill, if the devil has told you and me these things, and we're working with all our might to do God's will, we better tell the people of the church not to be discouraged. Because when you're going with God with all your heart, the enemy will say there's no use in it. Oh, just give up. You're never going to make it anyhow. He used to be a liar. We have to tell him he's a liar. And rebuke him. Because anyone that goes with Jesus, that's the battle they have. We're going with self, we don't have that battle. We're going with the devil, we don't have that battle, because we're going with him. You just turn around and go with Jesus, and you'll meet right up with the devil right away. He's a real person. He wants to cause all of us to be lost. He's a liar, but Jesus is Savior, and he will take everyone through that will trust him. Everyone. And I want to tell you that when you get to the last breath, Satan will be right there to tell you you're not going to make it. When Martin Luther was dying, if you remember, long before his death, here he was, climbing those stone slabs, you know, on his hands and knees, to do penance for sin. And it was said that Jesus walked on those stone slabs over there in Jerusalem. Here they had them in Rome. And he was going up doing penance for his sins when he heard a voice, a whisper. Well, he didn't finish the class. He went back home and started for God. Well, it proved me. A hundred years before that. A hundred years before that. They burned Hush at the stake, who had been preaching like Ugar. They burned him at the stake. And a superhuman voice came out of him when the flames were coming up, and he said, You killed the goose. But one hundred years come of the fox, he you cannot kill. Luther was the fox. They couldn't kill him, even if it died of a worm. They tried it. They wanted to, but they couldn't. And all the time that Martin was striving to do and believe and have faith, the enemy was fighting. And the last hours of his day, thinking, he came right up over his bed with a long piece of paper and read off all the reasons why he'd never make heaven. While he was dying, the devil said, Here, Martin. See, you're not going to make it. Here it is and this and this. And when he got through that page, Martin whispered, He'd turn to the next page and read off why Martin wasn't going to make it to heaven. And when he'd get through, he would whisper, Oh, I was dying to defeat you in that last moment. See, I'm preaching for you as for eternity. I don't mean halfway. I mean a hundred percent for God. I know very few people all over the world. It's all for God. I have been found in many places where I've traveled. If you're going to be stirred, you need to be stirred. If you're not stirred, you're going to get lost in your soul. Lukewarm, cold, cynical, critical, worldly, prideful, hateful, resentful, worldly. You love the world. Why, the Bible says if I love the world or anything in the world, the love of God's not in me. Praise the Lord. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Oh, the lust of the eyes, the lust of flesh, the pride of life. It's not of God. It's in the world. God wants us to be on the firing line. If you're on the firing line tonight, you're very happy. You're saying, I'm so glad for the truth. I'm thankful for the truth. Hallelujah. I'm thankful for the truth. Says everyone that said the truth hears my voice, he said. See, Jesus said everyone that said the truth hears my voice. Jesus said that. Isn't that tremendous? He said everyone that is of the truth hears the voice of Jesus. How many remember this scripture? Yes. Everyone that is of the truth hears my voice, Jesus said. So if you don't hear, say, Lord, save me, cleanse me, get me ready. I don't want to be lost because one glimpse of hell will be won more than you ever wanted. See, hell is a real place. Hell is a real place. It was never made for man. It was created for the devil, the beast, and the angels, fallen angels. It was never made for man. We only go to hell because we reject Jesus Christ, God's plan. That's the only reason we go there, is we reject it, we disobey it. We fail to do God's will. And I don't want anyone to go there. I don't want to go there. But the devil fights me all the time. Battles me severely. I'll tell you he's a liar, but God's grace and Jesus' blood, I can make it to heaven. I saw my daughter's dad when they were very little, 30 years ago and over. But hell is a real place. See, many people think it's just a fairy tale. They're teaching now in many places that there isn't really that place. Did you know that in many seminaries and ministries, they think that it means hell? They don't believe it. They're actually teaching in seminaries. How many seminaries do you suppose that Oliver and Daniel are teaching now in the hole that there isn't a place? Isn't it? Isn't it a fact? It's true. Only a few of the seminaries are actually teaching that after death, there's a place of punishment. I've heard, I've heard one of the great leaders of the church, of his son, he's a very brilliant man, he's a minister, and I've heard him say personally, that he says in the final analysis, all men and all women will be saved. I could hardly stand it. Because I knew what Jesus said. I knew Jesus said that many people, most people will be lost. He says, not everyone that's going to pray and say, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. And so I know that everyone that gives his heart to Jesus and walks in the light with him is going to make it to the glory world if he's obedient. Because Jesus is saying, come. But disobedience, you know, doesn't even end there because it's sin. Disobedience is sin. And Jesus says plainly in the scriptures a wonderful thing about the fact that he became the author of eternal salvation to as many as obeyed him. And all we need to obey him. We need really to follow faithfully. So hell's a real place. Dr. Kennedy talked to a man, I heard him. He gave it when he talked about, Dr. Kennedy probably is one of the great preachers of the world today. And he preached on hell and that beautiful $7 million church. And they came from various parts of Florida and I don't know how many other states to hear him preach on this. And he gave the chapter speech and he had with a man that died and went to hell and came back. So I let him come back. He went back. Now I was a neighbor to a man that also lived and died and went to hell. And when he died, his daughter screamed and yelled and jumped up and down and yelled and brought him back from the corners of hell. And M. Carroll said such cursing, such terrible pain came out of his mouth and said, I was in hell. Why did you bring me back to this place? I've got to go back there. It was so raging. It would contain so many angels in the world. Chills go up and down your back. God's saying, you better believe. Because there is a real place and it's hell. It's a lake of fire. Everyone whose other name is not written in the book of life shall be cast into the lake that burneth forever and ever. When have I ever preached like this? When have I ever preached like this? I'm going to preach on tonight for as soon as I am prevailed to bring forth the children. I may still preach that. But I'm in this now. I never know what God's going to do with me. In fact, I've been crying up here like a little child. My heart, oh, Jesus, what do you want now? Lord, help us to obey you. Oh, God, tell us your story. He said, my brother, if there was a hell like that, we ought all to get busy and tell everyone. Oh, you better do it because there is. Just as sure as I am. How do you know it? I know it by the witness of the Holy Ghost. What this word says. He said, really? Oh, yes. This word says so. That I know it by the witness of the Holy Ghost. Well, what is that? That's the power of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit that's in the world, that if a man or woman wants God with all his heart and wants everybody in all the world, then the witness of the Holy Spirit will come to be within you and he will guide you into all truth. And he will tell you all truth that you need. So the witness of the Holy Spirit is what everyone needs to walk with God. The witness of the Holy Spirit is the gift of Jesus. It's the gift of God. We don't marry Jesus. It's his gift. But if you're privileged, find privilege and honor to receive the witness of the Holy Spirit and bear witness of the Holy Spirit. But we must be sure to be very thankful. So the Holy Spirit witnesses that there is such a place. And one man said, well, where is it? I'll tell you where it is. It's right at the end of a life lived without Jesus Christ. And everyone that dies does not drudge. Everyone that dies that's not drugged doesn't have medication. If they know Jesus, there's light. There's light. Maybe it's two angels, one angel, and they see Jesus. And every one of them that doesn't know Jesus sees darkness, sees blackness, sees demons. They cry for help or they're dying. And Brother Helm, why do you tell us that? It's because I want us to be saved and not fail Christ. Because this is the way of love and light. You see, a lot of young people now, boys and girls, don't know this. They don't know it. There hasn't been preached much in the United States, not preached here in this church, but not preached a whole lot in many churches. But there is such a place. So it pays to serve Jesus all the time, every step of the way. Now if there's something within you that resents this, it means that you need it badly. If there's something within you that appreciates it, it means that you can rejoice and say, I'm so glad I'm on my way, by God's grace. And this is the way you find out. This is the way we know whether or not we're going with Jesus, that we appreciate the truth, that we love the truth. You see, if we don't love the truth, then we'll be caught in a great delusion. They all believe a lie and be damned, because they receive not the knowledge of the truth, but have pleasure in unrighteousness. So you see, if we don't really love the truth, well, we're lost and there's no hope, as long as we do not love the truth. And the truth is Jesus. The truth is Jesus Christ. And the word he has given us, on his loveliness and his precious kingdom, and his truth is, that whosoever will may come. And that there are no exclusions. There isn't any man or woman excluded from this way. The only person that's excluded from this way is the person who commits the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. That's the only person who will never, never be able to be saved. It's the person that blasphemes the Holy Spirit. Someone says, well, what is the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost? Some say, well, it's eternally rejecting Jesus. But my thought is, it's the person that wants to know Jesus, or knows something about it, and then turns and blasphemes. And so there's nothing to it. And so there's nothing to it. And this is hell. There's been very few people that have ever blasphemed the Holy Ghost, I trust. Because you see, with blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, there is never forgiveness. Never. It's going to be in your stomach with pain or cry. You can't ever get through. I prayed with a man before his death. I prayed so hard. I don't know how many hours I prayed. And I had always been able to get through by God's grace and mercy. But when I prayed for him, I was against a steel wall. A ceiling that was all iron. And I couldn't get through it. And I prayed for one hour, two hours. I prayed, and I couldn't get through this. And in the evening time, he said to me, and he says, I know it. He says, I prayed for three days, and I can't get through it. I trust I'll never have that experience again. I trust I want to encourage every one of us to obey Jesus, because it's such a joy to walk with him. It's such a light, such a glory, he said, to our way. As we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another. And the blood of Jesus Christ is a cleanse of us from all sin. And I want to be here with him. And I have to battle the devil continually. My temptations for 15 to 16 months have been so severe, I trust he'll never have to go through it. But I've had a wonderful time going with Christ. In the midst of all kinds of accusations and bumping and battles. Who I am, God is always there to deliver. And I trust that you are here. Now once he was on earth, he couldn't get anyone to hear him. Only a few could hear what he said. When he was here, of course, he wasn't able to convince very many. They thought he didn't know what he was talking about. But he was the supreme voice. The supreme authority. He was with the Father when the worlds were framed. When the planets were placed. When the sun started. I said the other night when the sun was so magnificent in the west. There's just enough of the haze so you could see the beautiful red ball. And I said, let me just think of the thousands of years that this gas has been burning. I said, gas always runs out of my car. I said, anything you want to do, the fuel and the stove runs out in a few hours. But this has been burning. This round ball has been burning for thousands of years. It's just one sun in many. And here's shining. And the light of it's coming 95 million miles. And we just get 1,200 billion of the ray of it. We get out of it. And yet if it were to go out, we'd all be gone in just a little bit. We'd all perish. And you see God hung the earth on nothing. He put it just far enough away from the sun that we wouldn't burn up by day. Or freeze by night. Just exactly. Just exactly. So we were just right. That we wouldn't burn up by day and freeze by night. Oh God has done so much for us to give us this only begotten son that we could be saved and walk with him in life. And that we are here on the greatest, greatest footstool, greatest planet, greatest place. Right here. Where it's so wonderful. He's given us everything. Everything is here. I can't think of a thing he's withheld from us. He just showers with blessings innumerable. He's wanting us to get ready to meet him. He says he's coming again. And he says not many are going to be ready. According to his scripture here. That's what he said, wasn't it? That there just wouldn't be very many ready. There'd be just a few ready. Out of the billions upon billions that lived in the earth. So therefore it pays to trust him and to obey him. Well this is all extemporaneous. I just got started here and didn't know I was in it until I was in it. Hallelujah. I'll get my other Bible here and start in. Would you like to stand up? Alive, alive, my Savior is alive. Alive, alive, my Savior is alive. Alive forevermore is God. Alive in Him as everlasting life. Because He's alive. Because He's alive. He is alive. I started to tell you a while ago about Dr. Kennedy's church. And I was going along with the Apostles' Creed. I had it many times. We came to that phrase where Jesus is on the right hand of God. I just sang it with everyone. All at once when it came to that, the Holy Ghost said, And Jesus is at the right hand of God. Well I knew that, but it was refreshing. It was a blessing. Hallelujah. Glory to God. It is certainly wonderful how the Lord leads His children and directs them and takes care. I am thought of them that ask not for me. I am found of them that stop me not. I said, Behold me, behold me unto a nation that was not called by my name. I have spread out my hands all the day unto rebellious people which walketh in a way that was not good after their own thought. Be people that provoked me to anger continually to my faith, that sacrifices in the gardens and burneth incense upon the altars of the bricks, which remain among the graves and logs and the monuments, which eat swine's flesh and broth of the abominable things in their vessels, which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me, for I am poorer than thou. These are the smoke in my nose, the fire that burneth all the day. Behold it is written before me, I will not keep silence, but will recompense even and recompense unto their bosom. Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains and blaspheme me upon the hills. Therefore will I measure their former work unto their bosom. Thus saith the Lord, as the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not, for the blessing is in it. So will I do for my servant's sake, that I may not destroy them all. Reading a few verses of the 65th chapter of Isaiah. May the Lord move upon our hearts. Thank you, Father, for this precious people and for this hour and these services. It's the fourth service. You've blessed us so wonderfully. You've helped us and assisted us and lifted us up into heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We thank you for these beautiful songs and these duets and trio. We praise the Lord for the music and for the prayers. We thank you for thy words and for thy truth. Let us now see Jesus and hear from Christ and know that the church of God is so precious and that you want it to be a holy people indeed. We ask, O God, for souls tonight. And Lord, for every young man and woman, boy and girl, every man, every woman, every person, that you will move upon their hearts as you see fit. Help everyone to be attentive to your purpose and be faithful to the Holy Ghost. So it's by your mercies we're here. There's no power in us whatsoever. There isn't any merit in us. Because in us there's no good thing. All in Jesus Christ only. And I pray that you'll be merciful to those that are unbelieving and skeptical. That your spirit will move upon them as you see fit to convince them. By thy presence I pray through Jesus Christ the Lord, and we will give thee all the glory and the praise because you are able to come into every man and every woman in their hearts with such power because I've seen you come in people's such power that they thought they couldn't stand it unless they repented. You're able to do it. It's up to you. We have no jurisdiction, only as you guide. So we pray for your work of the Holy Spirit tonight and for the leading of Jesus and for souls we trust. For Christ's glory we ask. Amen. You may be seated. Many persons that are in the church have wondered why so few people are being drawn to Jesus in many places. You have questions in your mind. Why is it when Jesus said, And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw them into me. Why is it that so many people are not drawn? Many scriptures so declare modest truths. And why aren't they coming to pass? There are questions in people's minds. One reason is that the present day church has grieved the Holy Spirit. We have grieved Him by our self assertiveness and by our disobedience. And I want to bring to you a message tonight that tells you about the spiritual rule and the spiritual law of the drawing of God. It's a very simple message. But yet it's profound. I have never personally heard anyone preach it. After God gave me the message, I did get ahold of Spurgeon's message on it and it wasn't anything like God had revealed it to me. Altogether different. I had to marvel at it. And so the message is in Isaiah chapter 66. Just one phrase. Verse 8. I'm taking the text right out of its context and bringing it to your attention. For as soon as Zion prevailed, she brought forth her children. In chapter 37. I haven't been over there for a while, but let's run over and look at it for a moment. It's said in verse 3. And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, of rebuke, and of blasphemy. For children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. There are literally millions in the United States that are ready to be born. There are millions in the United States ready to be born. I believe that now it runs up between 140 and 160 million that are ready to be born into the Kingdom of God. But there isn't strength in the church. There isn't sufficient travail in the church to bring forth. For as soon as Zion, that's the church, prevails, she will bring forth her children. Now, this is probably one of the most significant of messages as far as the church is concerned about complying with the will of God and walking with people. Now, this faith, for as soon as, he said just as soon as my people, the church, prevails, he said just as soon as they do, they will have their children. And there's 140 to 160 million in the United States that will be born into the Kingdom of God in a matter of six days, in a matter of six days, if Zion were willing to meet the requirements of spiritual travail. For as soon as Zion prevails, she will bring forth her children. He states there that Zion will bring them forth. Look at the tremendous power he's put in Zion. But who is Zion? Zion are those making up the church. Now, Israel was God's chosen people, but he said she was rebellious and stiff-necked, his own chosen. And I read there where two men out of 603 to 30,000, the men above the age of 20 years, made it into Canaan. And the others, their bones were trampled into the wilderness. And I said, Jesus, if only two of the natural branches be these and qualified. How about we of the wild olive tree and the branch that are in, qualify? Let's praise the Lord we can through the blood of Jesus. Amen. Through his Spirit. Amen. But only two though, only two. That's a very small percent. They used to really move on me 36 years ago. I'd get all stirred up over this. How could only two persons of the chosen seed be these above the age of 20 years? For as soon as Zion prevails. Now I'm going to speak out of my heart to you. Trevail. This word tells me of an experience near death. When a woman comes to travail just at the moment of bringing forth a child, she is in travail, and she's at the ebb and at the valley. She can make it through to God's power, or at that moment, giving her life for another, she can sink into death. Because she's at the brink. But God helps everyone that calls upon him. Travail is inner death. It means that the church, the church must have a love affair. There's not any travail. Every woman that is experiencing travail should have come to maturity. So God is looking for mature things. Travail is only experienced by spiritual mature, and the spiritual mature are experiencing a love affair with the King of kings. He said when Zion prevails, that means those that walk with him, those that trust him, those that love him, those that follow him, those that are yielded to him, prevail, bring forth, nigh unto death, giving over, yielding, surrender, giving one's life for another. This must be in the church. Now when God finds a body of believers,
