Lord, we pray that you will be with us today. Be in our midst. And touch our hearts through everything that will be done. That your name will be glorified through it. Amen. Our word we find in the gospel according to John chapter 1 and verse 13. Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision, or a husband's will, but born of God. We pray that you will be with us today. Be in our midst. And touch our hearts through everything that will be done. But there are also those who are born of God. I asked of Robert, would he allow me to maybe say something about his testimony. He said, he's free concerning that. I thank God for Robert, Reverend Mapanga, because not once did he give me any trouble whatsoever. Concerning things pertaining to marriage or that I ever get any bad odor concerning him. Any rumor or anything that he was involved in something that wasn't good. I thank God for Robert, Reverend Mapanga, because not once did he give me any trouble I thank God for Robert, Reverend Mapanga, because not once did he give me any trouble whatsoever. I thank God for Robert, Reverend Mapanga, because not once did he give me any trouble I thank God for Robert, Reverend Mapanga, because not once did he give me any trouble whatsoever. But on the day of Kuludube's funeral, early in the morning, when he got up to pray there at Matkogo, he said, you need to pray earnestly and sincerely because today I will show you there at Kwasizabantu whom you should get married to. He heard the Lord speaking to him and saying that to him, he got a shock because there wasn't even a thought concerning that in his mind. And so he prayed and he came to the funeral and he was closing the door. And as he was busy there, the people came into the service and then Zandile came past and the Lord's voice said to him, she is the one. She is the one that you are to get married to. He didn't know her from a bar of soap. He didn't know her name, her surname, where she was from and what she was like. But the Lord said to him, she is And so Robert, I can only say to you that God chose well for you. He chose a good person. And I look forward to coming to visit you and eating food that was prepared by her, bringing visitors along, seeing her respect and honoring the people. And there's no man that can find fault with a woman like that or a choice like that. For a long time, she felt called to go and preach the gospel and take the gospel to her family and the people from her area that didn't, that don't know the gospel. And I said to her for the time being, continue there where you are, serve the Lord there. The Lord's time will come for that. And you heard about children that are of blood and natural descent and human decision or a husband's will. And those that are born of God, four different worlds. I remember, I'm reminded of a young man at another place far from here who said he hears this, that people speak about marriage according to the will of God, that God chose you and you should get married to. He said, there's no such thing. A man just looks at a girl that he likes and if he likes that girl, then he says, that is God's will that he should get married to her. But that which they preach that there's no such thing. That you get married according to God's will. There's no such thing. You get married according to your own will. And so he went around to all the different congregations, keeping his eyes open and looking for someone that he would like to get married to. And he's found his beautiful peach. And then he came and he said, I feel God laying it on my heart that I should get married to this girl. And in the meantime, it's not God's will, but his own will. Well, he got his beautiful peach and he got married to her. Now the Zulus say, the most beautiful peach has a worm inside. And they also have a saying that the bride, when she just comes to her new home, she's so beautiful and everything goes so well. But when she gets used to her husband, she kicks him. When she gets used to him. And one of the Queens said to her husband, the King said, Oh, by the way, people call you a King. You see how she got used to her husband. And so they got married. They had the wedding and they said it's according to God's will. In the meantime, that was a lie. After about two or three months, the young man's mother, the mother-in-law to the girl or to the, to the young lady contacted me and she said, we have a problem. My daughter-in-law is seriously ill. And the husband was very worried. And the mother-in-law was extremely concerned about her daughter-in-law who was so seriously ill. And she said, the amazing thing is that when I would encourage her to go and see a doctor and I'd like to take her there, she would say, no, she just trusts in prayer. That God will undertake because she doesn't believe that any doctor will be able to help her with this disease. And she was even worried that it might be cancer. And I said, you just take her there. You are the mother-in-law. She can't tell you what you have to do. You just take her to the doctor. And she said, you know, my daughter-in-law is so afraid that the doctor would say that she's got to get an operation. And she's so afraid of an operation. And so she took her then to the doctor and I waited expectantly to hear the outcome, the prognosis of the doctor. And so they came back in the evening and I heard from her and I said, now, what did the doctor say? She said, I'm absolutely shattered. I'm shocked to the core. I don't know what I'm going to say. And even to my son, I don't know what I'm going to say to him. I said, what disease does she have? And then she said, the doctor says that she is pregnant and it's already in quite an advanced stage and not from her husband. That's why she didn't want to go to the doctor where everything, the truth would come to light. Why she said, no, she just trusts and pray. She said, Reverend Steegan, please do me a favor. Wouldn't you please inform my son? I don't have the strength to break the news to him. And I said, send him to me that he should come and visit me. Now this happened many years ago, but it's as if I can see it before my very eyes where I took him into my office. Now you see with us whites, we quickly show our emotions and our feelings through the color of our skin. Through the color of our complexion, we blush. If we're angry, we get red in the face. And if we're embarrassed, we also blush. You can quickly see it. But you blacks, God has painted you so that one cannot see anything. I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said I made him to sit opposite of me. and I said to him the outcome of the doctor's examination is that the disease that your wife has is that she is pregnant and in other words that beautiful peach that he got already had something inside of her and I said she was pregnant when you got married to her I for the first time in my life and there was also the last time where I saw a black man's color change he became white I was just ready to jump up to grab him if he would fall and faint he got such a shock. They got divorced after that because their house wasn't built on a proper foundation on a good foundation and a house that's not built on a proper foundation cannot stand it will crack it will collapse it will fall. You see there is the will of God but there is also the will of a man and there's also the will of lust of carnal desire. Now I had a beautiful cousin who looked as beautiful as a doll and one day she came to me and she said tell me cousin is it possible that a girl can get married to five husbands I said what do you what are you speaking about what do you say I don't know. She said just these days five young men came to me to propose and each one of them said they feel it's God's will that they should get married to me and some even brought Bible verses and quoted Bible verses and said that through that verse God showed them they should get married to me. I said no there's no such thing eventually she got married but not to any one of those five it was a different person. You see it was the lust of the eyes the lust of the flesh that drew them to her it wasn't the will of God. Now there was a certain white lady that was already getting she was a spinster getting a little bit older three years 32 34 years and she was desperate to get married. Uncle Ella didn't use the word spinster he just said a girl a young lady of that age that was desperate to get married now I always say if you're desperate to get married then come and I'll pray for you that God will give you a husband. And people could see that she was no longer free she was troubled about something she was desperate to get married that was the problem with her. That's what she did under that tree and she was praying to God to give her husband and this big oak tree outside the house it was dark there wasn't even a star that you could see and she was crying out out of desperation and there she cried out and the more she prayed the more fervent the prayer was becoming and the louder. More emotional. Oh give me a husband Lord. So eventually she shouted. What if just anybody Lord just anybody Lord just anybody Lord. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norm Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. Norma Barney. She cried out getting emotional. Absolutely emotional that I woke up in the Tree and said, who? She believed was God answering her prayer and so she said, just anybody Lord, just anybody. It's terrible if a person burns to such an extent of lust that they will just prepare to get married to any pair of trousers it's not only girls that are troubled by that you get boys as well or men that see that their years are continuing and they're getting older and they get desperate to get married and one young man prayed to the Lord he said Lord please give me a wife it's very difficult to be alone and to carry on like this I need to help me please Lord grant me a wife. He said Lord but I don't know who I should get married to but please grant me a sign like you gave Gideon a sign. Now at the night there was a big meeting a big gathering a big and so he put went to this party with his collar up on the one side and the other side not and he said Lord please grant me a sign the girl that comes to me and says brother let me help you to put down your collar for you by that I will know she is the one that you want me to get married to. And so he got into that big hall and yeah was this how should one say a horizontally challenged lady coming to him. Quite a good size. A good size. And she came to him when he looked at her face she was really a healthy size he looked at her face she was full of pimples not very good-looking and he cried Lord said oh Lord please not her not her. You see it's no joke we don't you shouldn't play around with this. But if you pray in earnest then God can help you. That you're not like those five young men who went to my cousin and that say it's God's will in the meantime it's not. There is also the will of the flesh. And also the natural descent just like the children of Israel said we are Abram's children. It's the natural way. It's natural from natural descent. It's the custom of our people. It's the done thing. When I was still young I spoke to another young man and I said to him don't live that kind of a life you'll end up in hell. He said no my problem is that my blood is so hot and that's why I follow after the girls. The will of the flesh the will of blood but with God all of that is of no account only God will God's will. Not the will of man not the will of the flesh but God's will. Now things change in the world. When I was still a child in the home my father had a number of shops and farms and sometimes during the holidays we'd go and work. We'd go and help all over. We'll help in the shops or on the farm. And in those days they didn't have plastic bags. These bags that are made of material which they used to put flour in those bags these flour bags type of bags which you couldn't see inside the bag. It was a big bags and a person will come. And if people would buy maize meal flour they'd buy a bag of that but they wouldn't buy it without first opening it up and seeing what kind of quality of flour it was inside. And so a person that wanted to buy that flour or meal would open up the bag at the top look at the flour at the top. If they're satisfied with that it'd be closed up again said okay I'm taking it. And so I would speak to the men. I would say to them look it's not good for you to have relationships with girls all over like you do. And then they said well you should understand because you work in a shop. It's not good. You cannot just take a bag of flour and buy that bag of flour or meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal meal without opening it up first and seeing what it's like inside. You understand? but I said to him you know what some people do that are crafty you get some Indians that they when they want to sell you their mealy meal they will put the bad mealy meal at the bottom and then just a bit of mealy good mealy meal at the top so you open it and you think it's good quality in the meantime there's bad mealy meal at the bottom I didn't say all Indians but I know of some that used to do that not again but your thoughts will twist our way in our and they said no we've got to find out whether we are compatible whether she'll be able to bear children so before we get married we've got to try that out first that is the will of the flesh that is the will of man you see you can do it according to the natural way or according to the will of the flesh or according to husband's will but all of that is of no account what matters is that you obey God's will there are people that I know from France we had a son and they really adored their son and they loved him and he loved them as well they were believers Christians after some time he became infatuated with a certain girl he fell in love and after that he treated his mother like dirt and his father and he went around with this worthy girl of his and I spoke to him they said our son do you really believe that it is God's will that you should be with that girl can you not see that she is a worldly girl oh he didn't listen he didn't pay any attention to what they said he ignored it eventually they got married eventually these parents said we cannot speak to our son anymore we cannot tell him anything because he just ignores all our advice he got married and so after the marriage the wedding they went on their honeymoon and whilst they were on their honeymoon there a motor car accident I'm not quite sure whether they were still on the honeymoon or just after and because of that accident he was paralyzed from his neck down he had no feeling no movement in any of his limbs he was taken up in hospital after two three days the doctor came and the doctor called his wife your son and your husband broke his neck is paralyzed from the neck down for the rest of his life he won't have any use of his limbs and his young wife wept and went out parents wept and the next day their own wife came back and she said I've just come to inform you that I'm unable to live with a paralyzed man with a paraplegic for a cripple for the rest of my life so I'm leaving I'm divorcing and she took her things and she left this young man forsook his parents his father and his mother he turned his back upon them he turned his back upon God upon the gospel because of this girl to me got married and then she forsook him and she left him like that do you hear that after a few days she said I can't hold it out I'm going you can't afford to be disobedient and turn against God and his word and his will you have don't listen to the will of the flesh to the will of demons but listen to the will of God obey him otherwise you'll regret it for all your life in this world as well as in the world to come and if you haven't been obedient to the will of God then turn back to him today and start obeying him from today on in 2nd Timothy God's word says we have not been given a spirit of fear and of cowardice but a spirit of power of love and of self-control I share with you I shared with you how the young man said how God led him how Robert said how God led him and showed him whom he should get married to and I said well that's good I'm thankful that you did it in that way and then I spoke to Zandil and I said Zandil there's this young man who feels he should get married to you you also go now and pray about it and seek God's will for your life after some time she came back after some days she came back and she said she feels that this is God's will that I should get married to him it's wonderful if God leads you if it's according to his will that you get married blessed are such people and not only that you get married in that way but for the rest of your life that you live according to God's will Jesus said it's not all those that say Lord Lord in Greek Lord means I belong to him I'm his I'm his property it's not all those that say Lord Lord that will enter only those that do the will of the Father is your life driven by the will of God or not if not today is the day when you should repent turn around back to God there's no other way shall we pray Lord may each and everyone here amongst us heaven ear to hear that we will hear what the Spirit says by doing according to your will we will be saved but by turning aside from it and being disobedient to it we will perish by obeying your will we will find the way to heaven but by rejecting your will and turning aside from it we will be rejected and cast into that bottomless pit that lake of fire and sulfur we will burn for all eternity amen thank you
