Sermon Transcription
We're living in a very difficult generation, are we not? Do you think that there are many battles that are set in front of the Christian? Are you undergoing some battles in your life at this time? Are there anything in your life that you're believing God for? Are you believing for a more devout life? More of an intimate knowledge of God? More of an awareness of God's presence? More of an ability to witness Jesus Christ with boldness and with strength? There are so many things in our life that we're trusting and we should be trusting God for. Things that we're hoping for. Things that are not yet seen that we're believing God for. And we're going to talk a little bit about faith this morning. And kind of on the ground level. It's not going to be any deep theology. I believe that we need to have the fundamentals reintroduced to us time and time again. Lest we slip from them. I do have plans in the future to talk about the doctrine of justification by faith. But we're not going to do that today. We're going to take a few weeks off of that. And just start to give us some practical teaching upon the word of God. One of the difficulties in pastoral ministry is to rightfully divide the word of truth. To preach the whole counsel of Christ and not just the part. When we stand before God on judgment day, there needs to be the well-rounded Christian life. And there's been an impartation and an instruction upon the whole counsel. The whole person of Christ. The whole gospel of Jesus Christ. And I was telling our friends this morning early. Is that it's a difficult task to be rightful in dividing and preaching upon the themes of the word of God. That I have a responsibility to preach the New Testament. But as well as the Old. To use the Old. And then to by the Holy Spirit's leading to to illuminate the realities of the new birth. That were foretold thousands of years ago. Everything in the Old Testament points to the Messiah ship of Jesus Christ. And it's to us. We've had a veil removed. We can see that plainly. And we're thankful for that. But we need to have the elementary doctrines of Christ. Taught. Retaught. And then once again. Retaught. To be continually laying that foundation. And so. We're going to talk about. I'm going to read a story that is very familiar to us. And we're going to point out. A few things in this text and within the rightful context. And but yet also to be able to see how we can apply the principle. To our lives. So that we can see more of a fullness. Of the stature of Christ. In our personal walk. In our personal life. But we should always be increasing and not in the knowledge of God. And not only in the knowledge of God. But also in the demonstration. Of God. But the word of God says that if our faith isn't producing something. Then that is not authentic faith. Faith without works is dead. But we should be always. Walking in faith. But yet demonstrating that faith. By doing good deeds. Or deeds consistent with. With the faith. Amen. Verse 48 of Luke. Luke 8. A very powerful story. Some very powerful principles. That are very. Wonderful. Very easy for us to grasp hold of. And to. To bring into the realms of our lives. And to apply. The Bible says on the other side of the lake. The crowds received Jesus with open arms. And I'm reading this out of the new living. For those of you that are wondering. They've been waiting for him. And a man named Jarius. A leader of the local synagogue came. And fell down at Jesus feet. Begging him to come home with him. His only child was dying. A little girl that was 12 years old. And Jesus went with him. And he was surrounded by the crowds. And there was a woman in the crowd. Who had a hemorrhage for 12 years. She had spent everything. That she had on the doctors. And still could find no cure. If you wanted to turn back over to. Mark you'd find that. Mark discloses that she spent. All that she had upon the physicians. And she only grew worse. She grew worse. Her condition worsened. Instead of became better. And she came up behind Jesus. And she touched the fringe of his robe. And immediately the bleeding stopped. Who touched me Jesus asked. And everyone denied it. And Peter said. Master this whole crowd is pressing up against you. But Jesus told him no. Someone deliberately touched me. For I felt healing power. Go out from me. And when the woman realized. That Jesus knew. She began to tremble. And she fell to her knees before him. And the whole crowd heard her explain. Why she had touched him. And that she had been immediately healed. Daughter he said to her. Your faith has made you whole. Or made you well. Now go in peace. Let's pray. Father we just come to you Lord. As a people that are in absolute need. Of you. Lord we're in need of you. To reveal your word to us. Lord because many times. Our hearts are blinded because of sin. And father I ask Lord. That by the power of the Holy Spirit. That you would illuminate the truth. Lord God that the beaming rays of light would come. And illuminate the truth of your word to our hearts. Lord that we may walk in truth. And live in truth. Father help us in our weakness. To be able to understand spiritual matters. And to help us Lord by the Holy Ghost Lord. To have a revelation today of the word. Not a head knowledge Lord. But a deep heart revelation. Of the word of truth. Father I pray for the people here. That are undergoing trials and difficulties. Lord God that they lay hold of you by faith Lord. And walk with you as you would lead them. Throughout the corridors of this life. Lord empower us Lord this morning. With revelatory truth. That we might glorify you. By the way that we live. And respond in Jesus name. Amen. The statement I want to reiterate to you. Daughter your faith has made you well. But brother listen. There is something to this faith matter. That we as the people of God have been called unto. We have so many difficulties in life. So many circumstances that surround us. That are pressing in really. Are pressing up on us. That we really in our own power. In our own strength. Don't have any answers for. Or any direction on how we are to address them. Or to get past them. And here we see a woman that had been perplexed for 12 years. And there is a principle here. She had been sick. She had a bleeding disorder. I believe today we would call this anemic. And I know that she was weakened by her condition. She had no strength. But yet there was something on the inside of her. That identified Jesus Christ. With his messianic ability and power. That he was God's Messiah. His Messiah. That had come to fulfill the scriptures. That had come to heal those that were sick and oppressed of the devil. Because God was with him. And in this weakness. There was a response. Jesus said because of your faith. You have been made whole. She responded. And because of a response. There was something that took place. She responded based on something inside of her. That said Jesus is the way. Jesus is the truth. Jesus is the life. Listen. And I am not saying that we get healed by what we do. We get healed by the mercy of God alone. But beloved there is something that God has called us to trust him. For everything in our life that we are going through. Whether it be related to our health. Whether it be related to our families. Our children. Our walk with Jesus Christ. God has called us into a life of faith. That we lay hold of him and touch him. Just as this woman did with this deliberateness. In the touching of Jesus Christ. One of the things that we have been talking back and forth with our friends. That are Jewish. They believe that you should be as far away from God as possible. And I have been expounding upon the truth of the gospel. That the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us. That we should draw near to God as possible. That we should draw nigh unto him. This woman in this issue of blood situation. Is a great illustration. That not only is it possible. Jesus draws us unto him. Just in who he is in his lordship. There is a drawing effect. And we need to respond to that drawing effect. For every need that we have. You may not have a bleeding disorder. Well you do. A sin problem. But there are other issues in our life as well. You know there are things that we face. Crises that we face in our life. As Christian people. That we need to trust God for. That we need to press beyond. There is always a crowd. There is always a situation where we are going to have to assert. Some drive and some strength. To be able to get to Jesus to touch him. There was something. A crowd that was around Jesus Christ. And this woman was in great need. In fact the doctors couldn't even begin to cure her. She had been to them. She had spent all of her resources. There were no resources left. She had become worse and not better. Many of us have gone through situations in our life. We've tried this. We've tried that. And we've become nothing but worse. We've tried to use drugs. We've tried to use alcohol. We've tried the wisdom of man. We've tried the strength of the flesh. And we ended up being worse than we were in the beginning. Is that only me? Beloved I believe that God has called us unto himself. But we need to understand that there's a war going on. There's a battle going on. There are forces of darkness out there that are at work to try to destroy your life. To destroy your eternal life. They're trying to divide you against yourself. They're trying to divide you against God. They're trying to divide you against truth. And beloved there's a war. We have to press through. And get hold of Jesus Christ. He said woman your faith has made you whole. Listen this woman went to Jesus because she believed that he was able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that she could ask or think. She deliberately touched him. There was a need that was pressing upon her. Just as there are needs that are pressing upon you. Say oh pastor I don't have any needs that are pressing upon me. Listen your failure to acknowledge the real needs that are pressing upon you is a need in itself. A pressing need. The blindness to the situations. Listen the dullness of hearing. The dullness of spirit. The dullness of heart. And the failure to recognize that and to identify that is within you is a horrible need in itself. This woman realized that she was sick and that's the first step in a miracle. We've got to realize that the crucible that we're going through is of such strength and of such magnitude that we by no means can face that on our own without the power and the influence and the supernatural workings of God in our lives. And God's called us to trust him. You're like well I've heard this old song and dance. Let me tell you. I find myself in situations of dire circumstances and I find myself trying to work through these circumstances by the power of my own strength. Knowing in my heart that it is wrong but yet not recognizing it until I am in the midst of it. Like what am I doing? This situation is getting worse and not better. Just like this woman. And I'm not even trusting God. Where is God in the equation? Beloved God is the equation. God plus anything is victory. But yet I try to work through these situations. Crisis times. It might be stressful situations. Something in the body of Christ. Something in the home. Something in the heart. And trying to accomplish it in the power of my strength or in the flesh. Beloved of the flesh is opposed to the things of God. Contrary to. God's called us to live by faith. The just shall live by faith. The justified must live by faith. Trusting and believing God for every morsel of victory that we attain. But we have challenges. And Bo and Lindy are freshly married and everything is exciting and fresh and new. But there are glaring needs in your life that can only be accomplished and tackled by faith. Trusting God. To have more of a godly virtue. More of a godly character. More of a godly husband. More of a godly wife. More of a witness. More of an example. More of an intimacy with God's son. And it's only accomplished as we begin to see more of a faith well up on the inside of us. But there's a response in faith. We have to press in and touch him. We have to press in. There's always circumstances. There's always problems that try to hinder us from getting to Jesus. And this woman had to face a problem between she and the Lord Jesus Christ. There was a crowd pressed in around him. Thronging to him. And she had to get beyond them to him. And she was the weakest amongst all of them. This anemia had her so weakened in her condition she felt absolutely hopeless, I am sure. But yet she had such an inner awakening to the abilities of God through Christ. To not only touch her but absolutely heal and change her. Her life was different from that day forward. She knew something inside because she knew something about his character and his love on the inside. She responded with a zeal and an ability really that was beyond her own self. Let me tell you something. Her healing began, I believe, when she made the decision to even start pressing in. Where did that strength come from? If you know anything about someone that has anemia, there is no strength. How did she get beyond the throng? How did she get beyond the crowd? How did she get to Jesus when there were thousands of people that were gathering around him as he was going, doing good. Healing all that were sick and oppressed of the devil. How did she get beyond that thronging crowd? How did she get to him? She had something on the inside of her that said, I must touch him. And beloved, I know this, that God was giving her the strength to get to him. There was that radiant draw, the glory of Christ, the revelation of God on the inward most part of her heart. The drawing power of God. And she had strength because God's ability in her to get to. You can't get to Jesus on your own. God saved me. I couldn't save myself. I wasn't looking for Jesus when I got saved. He was looking for me. I love him because he first loved me. No one can come to the father except he'd be drawn. God came looking for me when I was a 21 year old young man alone in my pickup. There was no preacher. There was no prayer. There was just me and God. And I knew it. And God demonstrated his power. He demonstrated his love. God touched me. I touched him. And I've never been the same ever since. I was talking with our pastors today. We all need an experience with God. It may not be in an old pickup truck. But an experience with God is what the body of Christ needs. We need the tangible touch of God upon our life. He has deposited on the inside of you the measure of faith. But beloved, there's something between us. We've got to press through it and touch the Lord. And touch him. Your situation will be made whole. Because of your faith, you've been made whole. And that faith was demonstrated whenever she fought to get to him. To lay hold of him. To touch him with a deliberate touch. That he is my only source of hope. He is my only source of strength. He is the only solution for that which faces me in the hour. The crisis hour that I am now facing. That he alone. If I don't get to him, I will die. That he will make me whole. Beloved, has it ever crossed your eyes? The passage that says that God is not a respecter of persons. What God did for that woman with the issue of blood. He did it as a principle virtue that we can apply to our life. That whenever we have mountains in front of us. Then we have situations going on. And we have forces of darkness that are trying to destroy us. Trying to quench our zeal. Trying to drown our enthusiasm. Trying to destroy us, our families. Beloved, that we can press beyond all the distraction and all the crowds. And get to Jesus Christ. And to have an answer to our prayer. A deliverance. A grace released into our life. And the bleeding will stop immediately. The bleeding of your broken heart. The bleeding of your hopeless cause. The mountains that are thundering and towering above you. In relational distress. Some of you have marital problems that are going on. That you are frustrated. And you feel like hitting your head on the ground. So when will God ever answer my prayer? And beloved, that be it unto you according to your faith. God is at work in this hour. The word of God is coming forth. The gospel is being heralded and being preached. It is arousing a new faith inside of the people of God. To have some victory in their life for once and for all. Victory. My heart grows so weary of seeing such defeated countenance upon the faces of God's chosen people. We've got to learn to apply the principles of the word of God. That your faith has made you whole. Beloved, we try to preach here upon the character of God. Saying that God is all powerful. God is all wise. That God is willing. That God is available. The power of God is real. The power of God is tangible. Beloved, we've got to see something that brings it and transfers that power into the realities of our life. To where the people of God begin to walk uprightly with their eyes lifted up. And glorifying and praising God for miracles that keep streaming into their life. By the hand and the power of God. Beloved, there must be faith. And there has to be a response in faith. That we believe God in so much. That we go forward. That we press beyond the difficult things. That try to keep us away from Jesus. And that we fight that good fight of faith. To get to our Lord. And to reach out. As that song says. To reach out and to touch Him. To reach out and to touch Him. That the healing power of God will be released in our life. God is more than able to change the heart of your spouse. That's my wife. My wife had said it in her mind that she was going to divorce me. Because I was a worthy divorcee. I earned it. And God spoke to her to go home. And to not divorce me. And that He would take care of me. And my little mother in prayer for me. My father. God answers prayer. Someone touched Jesus in my behalf. And God demonstrated His power and He saved me. He changed every facet about me. Every part of me He changed. And I came home one day to my wife. A new creation. All old things were passed away. Behold all things were made new. God did this work in me. And there are some of you that are believing for your spouses. To be godly. And beloved get to Jesus and touch Him. Touch Him in regard and for your spouse. Believe God. Believe that God is more than able to save your spouse to the uttermost. And I know that sometimes the years roll by. And then with that comes a weariness and well doing. That beloved don't give up. Keep going. Keep pressing beyond the crowd. Go to Jesus and touch Him. In regard to your spouse. Touch Him in regard to that child that you're believing God to save. He is more than able. And He is willing. And beloved God's calling us to a new level of faith. To trust Him. He's a God of salvation. He wills that all men ever will repent and be born again. He wills this. Beloved we've got to believe. We've got to trust Him. We've got to continue to petition Him. What other difficulties are we facing? Believing God for salvation. For our families. Our children. Our spouses. And what about that one sin that we just have a hard time giving up? We don't want it but it revisits us. And we cave in and we yield to it time and again. I know this is the other people down that church. Down that way. That we're talking about. Not us. Look at me. How about that we go to Jesus. And press beyond. The pressing crowd. To lay hold of Jesus Christ that we might be delivered from the bondage. Of that one sin. That we've had such difficulty yielding to God. That we keep trying in the flesh and we keep failing. We do good for two weeks and we fail and we fall back into that one sin. It seems that we have a great distaste for it. But yet on the other hand it visits us. And we cave in to its power once again. It seems that other sins in your life have been long since abandoned by the grace of God. But yet there's this one thing we lack. There's this one thing we lack. And it visits us in the night hours. And it haunts us. And putting all other things aside. Beloved we must press beyond the crowd and believe God. That he is able to deliver us from every stain and every sin. That we be set free. That the son of God will free us indeed. Even from that one sin that seems to lay claim and hold to our heart and our life. That God is more than able. God is more than able. To set us free. From that one sin. That some of us have wrestled with for years and years and years and years. We loathe it. We hate it. But we still have not had victory by the grace of God over it. We must believe God that he is more than able. He is sufficient. He is the sin bearer. He is more than able to work this in me. That I might be free from every sin. And the power that it holds over me. Is that air conditioner gone? Be it unto us according to our faith. I said pastor my faith is weak. I identify at times when my faith feels so vulnerable. You? You? Like you know I see these great miracles. And I'm so glad that woman was healed. I'm so thankful that the guy down the street got healed and touched. I'm glad that the neighbor's wife got saved. But sometimes even in my own heart. I don't seem to have the level of faith that I need to see a breakthrough in my life. And how do I see this faith strengthened? How can I grow and mature in faith? That this faith might be such faith. That no matter what the crowd. No matter how dense the opposition. That I can get beyond it and get to Jesus. And to see him work in my life. Miraculously. And beloved the answer is found in Romans chapter 10. Verse 17. For faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Beloved listen to me. I want you to look at me. I'm not going to go much longer. There is a beckoning cry of God in this generation. For us to saturate ourselves. With the gospel of Christ. I remember years. Of feeding. Upon the gospel of Jesus Christ being preached by. By great men of God. And such faith would rise up on the inside of me. I have felt. In my own. My own life. I have had a revelation. And seen the demonstration. Of the increase of faith. By the submission. On my part to the preaching. Of the gospel of Christ. And the faith that comes from it. It's not just something on a page to me. It's something that happens. I remember in the years. In my younger years in the faith. In the faith on the night shift. Listening for eight hours a night. To preaching by great men of God. Guys like A.W. Tozer. Great men of God. Leonard Ravenhill. I had a little cassette tape player. I put in my. Seat belted it in. In case of high speed pursuit. I seat belted it in. And every night. I had a box. And I still have that box. And I've given out most of the tapes over the years. Hour. After hour. After hour. It became a nightly. Privilege to meet with Miss Clayton's son Chris. Is one of my dearest friends on earth. And we would pray. From three o'clock in the morning until six. Spending three hours a night in prayer. And meditation. And exhortation of one another. And the study of the scriptures together. And beloved I. Tangibly. Could feel faith stirring and arising. On the inside of my. My heart. Because the gospel is true. The word of God is true. The principles of the word of God are true. Faith does come by hearing. And hearing by the word of God. So pastor I'm facing mountains I can't get through. Me too. Pastor it's a hopeless cause. No it's not. Listen how do we. How do we fight this war. How do we get this answer to prayer. How do we have this faith. This maturing of faith. This growing of faith. To where we might hear the very same words from our Lord. That your faith has made you whole. Your faith has got you through this situation. You're just trusting me. And my power to divinely and powerfully visit you. To bring you from one glory to the next. Beloved is feeding. Making an overt decision. To feed upon the word of God. Day and night. Only continually. Meditating upon the word of God. Observing the dew. All that is written therein. And then finding ourself in the prosperous way. And not so much prosperous back here in the wallet. But prosperous in our life. In our life. Beloved I challenge you. It's going to be okay friend. Oh he sounds like his daddy. Beloved we have to make some radical decisions. To see radical effect. To see radical change. We want a radical demonstration of God's power. In the hopeless abyss of our situation. Don't we? When that one sin has eaten your lunch. And you feel about that. Tall in the eyes of God. And you smite yourself. Oh God help me. A sinner. Oh God is there any deliverance for me. There must be a radical outbreak. A demonstration of the grace of God in your life. Or that sin will drag you to the pit of hell itself. But beloved there must be a radical demonstration. Of the grace and power of God. But beloved there's got to be a radical demonstration. On the willingness. On the behalf of God's people. To get beyond the crowd to get to Jesus Christ. Wherein our answer lies. You got to get beyond the crowd of all these other voices. That say there's another way. That you can buy your way out of it. The doctors will fix you. There's a pill for that. Oh if there were pills to fix sin. I'd eat a billion of them. But there's no pills to fix. The lack of our life. But there's a person. His name's Jesus Christ. He's our everything. He's God's son. He is the Messiah of God. He is God in the flesh. And he still. Destroys the work of the devil. He still destroys the work of the devil. The problem is. Is that we many times. Are so weak and anemic. That we can't even get to him or won't. Because if we touch him we'll live. There's an impossible. Impossible thing. To touch Jesus. Deliberately touch Jesus. And not be affected by that touch. Americans are the laziest people. On the face of the earth. And it doesn't stop at the doors of the church. The laziest people on earth. I'm not saying that you can work your way into heaven. Don't misread what I'm saying. It's all by God's grace. But beloved there are things that we must. Go through crowds. To get to Jesus and touch him. I believe this gloriously illustrates this. Sometimes we have to wade through doctrinal things. And I've heard this time and again. I'm just struggling with this passion. Because I was brought up to believe this this way. And that believing this this way. Has kept them from the knowledge of God. Has kept them from the power of God. There have been there. Listen there are myriads of. Of theologians that have taught that the power of God. Is not available for the church today. Jesus said the gates of hell won't prevail against the church. So. How's that going to happen if the power of God. Is not available for today. The church would be completely. Would completely succumb. Would it not? We're kept by the power of God through faith. We're kept by the power of God through faith. Let me ask you this. Is there something in your life. Or your heart or your family. That you're believing God for. That is absolutely beyond your power to fix. There are a lot of things. You're believing God for your daughter. So am I. Believing God for your daughter. Well I'm still believing God for mine. I should never quit that though. You know. I should believe God for. God to use her more effectively. More fully. More completely. For her to emanate Christ. More and more and more. I should never give up believing for. God to continue that work in my children. And for your children. But what I know that every single one of you. Sitting out here within the sound of my voice this morning. Are believing God for something. And God's still willing. And God's still able. The problem is there's something between you. And that answer for prayer that we've got to get. Beyond. I believe that our faith should have a bulldog tenacity. That we're getting to Jesus. To touch Jesus and believing him. For him to radically. Emphatically. Miraculously. Demonstrate his power. In our lives. Our homes. Our families. But mainly listen to me friend. Mainly in our hearts. Mainly in our hearts. Are there any of you sitting in the sound of my voice this morning. That have a heart. That has a heart. That's perfectly free. Or are we really authentic. In our declaration. That there's still in our lives. Things that beset us. I think honesty should creep into the church again. Instead of pretense and lies. So long we've said. There's no. There's no. There's no nothing in this eye. It's all in yours. And that's hypocrisy. Well I tell you there are things I wrestle against. And I've got to radically get hold of Jesus Christ. To be radically set free. From these things that hinder me. Because if you might ask me the question. Pastor why aren't you more godly than you are. And the answer would have to be. Because of these things that still beset me. And I can't walk away from them. In the strength of myself. Of my flesh. It must be by the power of God. It must be by the power of God. There are many of you wrestling. With sinful tendencies still aren't there. There are many of us still wrestling. With sinful tendencies aren't we. And there's none of us can throw stones. At one another. Because we still have our own vices. That we're still believing God for. We're not talking about believing God. For a new Cadillac. We're talking about believing God. For a new heart. That's set free from the. From the power of sin asserting itself. To where we can walk into victory. To where we can walk in. Righteousness. Circumspectly. Among men. As living testimonies. Of Jesus Christ and his power and purity. And beloved we must not give up. Let's hold fast to this hope. That God is more than able. Even though that there is a crowd. That is pressing in thronging around Jesus Christ. That we can get to him. And we can deliberately touch him. And when we do the power of God. Will be released into our life. And we will have freedom. And out of this moment hope in him. Trust in him. Believe him. And I believe him. And I'm going after him. No matter what stands in the way. I'm going after him. And I'm not going to give up. But I don't want you to either. I don't want you to fail at God's grace. But participate and partake of it. To not grow weary in well doing. As many do. But to continue steadfastly. Looking into Jesus Christ. The author and the completer. Finisher. Of our salvation. Beloved my challenge is for you. Drink freely. Of the river of life. Partake of the goodness of God. Feed upon God's oracles. Delve yourself into the gospel. I challenge you to read books. Written by stalwart writers. The radical men of God. That have gone on before us. That have done great things for God's glory and honor. I challenge you to dive into the word of God. And to rightfully divide the word of God. And to study yourself. That you might show yourself approved unto God. I challenge you. Set yourself apart. The gospel of Christ. Will pour into your life. And that faith. Would arise. That God might be glorified in all of our lives. Amen. God promised victory. Why don't we live it more? My thought is that we're just too lazy. I included myself. So don't get mad. It's us. Next Sunday morning. Could be absolutely different than today. If all of us in this room. Little Jason over there. All the way around. Back to Yvonne. All the way around. All the way around. Back over here to Vernon. And the enormous amount of time. In regard to what we normally do. Just with Jesus and his word. Every day of the week. And I said I'm not talking about. 20 hours out of the 24. I'm talking about when you get off work. Instead of turning on MacGyver. That you open up the Bible. And you prayerfully. Study the word of God. That you meditate upon God's word. That you listen to the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As the Lord leads you. And I know this to be true. Because it's based upon fact. And not fiction. That our faith level next Sunday morning. Will be greater than it is today. Is that correct? That's right. Blessed is the man that walks not. In the counsel. Of the wicked and the ungodly. Or sits in the seat of the scornful. Or standeth in the way of the sinner. But he delights. In the law of the Lord. And therein does he meditate day and night. Rivers of water. Will bear forth fruit in the season. His leaves will not wither. And he'll prosper in all that he does. But it is not so of the wicked. It is not so of the wicked. It's like chaff. Like chaff. Burned up. Blowing about. Let's draw near to him. With the full assurance of faith. Press into him. It doesn't matter what you've been. It doesn't matter what you've done. Let God move in today. There could be a brand new opportunity. A divine visitation. An awakening. An opportunity for us as the people of God. Why not? Why not? And as Stephen Curtis Chapman said. Saddle up your horses. Saddle up your horses. Let's press into Jesus. Touch him. Let's believe him. That we might hear. Be it unto you. According to your faith. Thy faith has made thee whole. Whole. Complete. Lacking nothing. Let's stand.
