Sermon Summary
Mike Bickle emphasizes the significance of the Second Coming and the Rapture, explaining that Jesus will not only rapture the church but also replace all earthly governments in a single day. He highlights the monumental task of this transition, where Jesus will establish His reign over the earth, as prophesied in Revelation. Bickle discusses the anger of nations at this announcement and the ensuing spiritual warfare, detailing the roles of Satan, the Antichrist, and the false prophet during this time. He reassures believers of their victory through faith, despite the challenges they will face, and underscores the importance of understanding these prophetic events for spiritual preparedness.

Again, in Roman number 1, Revelation chapter 11, verse 15 to 19, this is the rapture of the church and the replacement of all the world governments. Now that seems like, whoa, what? A lot of times when we talk about the second coming of Christ, Him coming, we understand that the church being raptured. But one of the things that isn't always emphasized is that all the governments of the earth are going to be replaced in one day. I mean, that is a monumental task for a human to do that. Of course, Jesus is fully God, but He's fully man, and God has given the task to change all the governments of the earth at one time. He's given that task to one man, and that's related to the whole theology of the second coming. He's not just coming so to take us away to heaven. He's coming to bring heaven to earth, and all the empires of the earth will be under His authority. Paragraph A, this is the third chronological section in the book. What I mean by a chronological section, there's five of them, where events unfold in a sequential or a chronological order, one after the other in a chronological way. And at the seventh trumpet, this third chronological section, an announcement in heaven declares that the Lord is going to take over and replace all the governments of the earth. That's where the announcement in heaven comes. At the seventh trumpet, there's a heavenly announcement. I don't know if they'll hear it on the earth. I don't know exactly what they'll know on the earth, but the nations of the earth get very angry at this announcement, very, very angry. We find in verse 18, we'll look at that in a moment. Verse 15, so the seventh angel, now we know the seventh angel comes after the sixth one. Now we've had a little parenthesis in chapter 10 and 11, but we're now back to the storyline. The seventh angel now sounds, and there were loud voices in heaven, and there was a prophetic declaration that the kingdoms or the empires of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He'll reign forever and forever. And one thing that's important, it said it's this world that He takes over. It's not, I mean, He's coming back to take over this world. That's what some people have when He comes, this world burns up, but He's coming to take over the empires of this earth, to be king of kings over it, to reign for 1,000 years. Verse 24, and the elders in heaven, they worshiped God because of this prophetic declaration. They were overcome with worship, and they said, we give you thanks because you have taken your great power and you've reigned. Now God has all the power, and Jesus has all the authority to reign, but when it says you've taken your power, you have taken your power and reigned, it means you're going to exert your rule in a way that everybody in the world will see it. He has all the power right now, but He's not exerting it over all the kingdoms. He's allowing the free will of man to run its course. Of course, there's limitations, but they get to do a lot of sin, but there's a day coming where He will exert and fully manifest His power. That's what it means by you take your power and reign. Verse 18, the nations are really angry about this. Well, the kings know that their empires are going to be taken from them and given to other leaders. There are going to be new leaders over every single nation, so the kings are very, very angry at this, but somehow, in verse 18, they're aware of it, so they're aware of what's going on. Now, verse 18, the nations were angry, is actually a quote from Psalm 2. Psalm 2 is a very important psalm. King David, he gave a prophecy that all the kings of the earth would be angry and that God would take over all the kingdoms of the world. So really, John is quoting that political drama that unfolds that was prophesied in Psalm 2 by David. So you want to connect Psalm 2 to this passage. So there are several things that are going to happen when this seventh trumpet blows and the announcement is made. Verse 18, all the nations are angry. The wrath of God comes in fullness to the earth, and that happens in the seven bowls. Immediately after this, the next things that happen are the seven bowls of wrath, the time of the dead that they should be judged. So all the dead are sentenced at this time. They're declared guilty, and they're sentenced with going to the lake of fire. Now, they don't go to the lake of fire until after the thousand-year reign, but they're sentenced and declared guilty before the tribunal of the king. So their sentence is final, and they stay in hell. Hell is not the same thing as the lake of fire. They stay in hell. Hell is like the temporary prison, and the lake of fire is like the federal penitentiary, the permanent one. And everybody in hell gets thrown into the lake of fire at the end of the thousand-year reign. So the dead are judged or sentenced, declared guilty, and the Lord will reward His servants, the saints. So this is when the saints are rewarded, at the time of the seventh trumpet. And this is the time where the Lord destroys the people who destroy the earth. Now the people that destroy the earth are obviously many, but it's really focused on the leaders responsible for the policies that destroy the earth. He's really talking about the leaders, the responsible ones here. That's what's in focus here. So there's a number of things that are happening all at the same time. The trumpet is sounded, all the kingdoms are transferred over to the Lord, the dead are sentenced, the saints are rewarded, and those who are responsible for the policies and all the activities that are destroying the earth, they are destroyed. They come under judgment for that in a very specific way. Paragraph one, Paul prophesied that the rapture will occur at the seventh trumpet, or at the last trumpet. You can say the last trumpet or the seventh trumpet, and I believe they're synonymous because there are no more trumpets in the book of Revelation after the seventh trumpet. And the seventh trumpet are the only numbered trumpets in the Bible. And so some folks, and again I appreciate this, their view is there's the seventh trumpet, and then later after that there's a last trumpet when the rapture comes. Well I think that my opinion is that the rapture does happen at the final trumpet, and it's not later after the seven trumpets are over, but it's actually the seventh trumpet, that is the final one in the word of God. Paul said in verse 51, behold I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, which means not every believer is going to die physically. There will be a generation of believers that won't physically die. But they shall all be changed, and in the word for change you can put they will be raptured. Because they're going to be changed, their bodies in one moment in the twinkling of the eye at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised, and all the believers that are alive on the earth will be changed or raptured in the twinkling of an eye, completely transformed, and their bodies will be raised, I mean their bodies will put on, they'll get a resurrected immortal body. Says in Revelation 10, in the sounding of the days of the sounding of the seventh trumpet, that's when the mystery of God is finished. So we know the mystery of God from Paul is related to all the saints being changed, that's included in the mystery, the mystery is bigger than that of course, but we know that it happens when the seventh angel blows the trumpet, that's when the mystery of God comes to completion. Paragraph 2, the Lord will descend from heaven with a trumpet, when the trumpet sounds, that's when the Lord comes, and when the trumpet sounds, the last trumpet by the way, verse 17, believers that are alive on the earth will be caught up, that's what the word rapture means, caught up, it's actually a Latin word, because the Bible was translated from Greek to Latin, and many use the Latin translation, and the word rapture is a Latin word, which is the word caught up, so that's where we get the word rapture, but when the final trumpet, the trumpet of God sounds, believers that are alive will be caught up, they'll meet the Lord in the air, and they'll be with Him forever and forever. Okay, so that seventh trumpet chronological, those events are declared and put in place, now the angel like puts a pause on the storyline, and after every chronological section, there's five chronological sections, which the events fold one after the other in a sequential way, then the angel puts a pause on the storyline, and then there's a big parenthesis, and it's like he tells John, let's sit down, and let me tell you what's happening behind the scenes, let me tell you why, what you saw that is so severe of judgment, why it's necessary that it happens, and let me tell you what's going to happen to the saints during this time, and so the, I call them the angelic explanations, or you could call them the parenthetical sections, the parenthesis, the pause on the storyline, where John, I picture him sitting down with the angel, the angel says, let me get you up to date on everything, why that is so necessary, that things are so intense, because John, I mean, I think he's like deer in the headlights, like I can't believe what I just saw, this is going to happen in human history, why does this need to happen, and I can imagine the angel, I'm adding a little bit to this thing, John, I'm losing you, I'm losing you, pause, put the storyline on hold, let me get you caught up, let me help you process this, and then after the angelic explanations, or the parenthesis, then the storyline is taken off a pause, and then the chronological section begins again, so paragraph A, in this third pause, or angelic explanation, we find out the reason there's going to be such a severity of changing all the governments of the earth, I mean, that's pretty severe, I mean, that's drastic, to change all the governments of the earth in one day, like, do you know how disruptive that is, Lord, do you know how many people will not only lose their job, but will lose their life in this big exchange, that's really intense, well, the angel explains, there's the reason this is necessary, there'll be a fierce war in the spirit, and Revelation 12 gives us insight into that fierce war between Satan and God's people, this section, this chapter 12, 13, 14, answers why God's wrath is so severe, and requiring all the governments of the earth being replaced, and all the death that goes along, all the upheaval, all the disruption that goes with that, number one, Revelation 12 describes the war in the heavens, the war in the heavens between Satan and Michael the archangel, Revelation 13 describes the war on the earth, so there's a heavenly war between all the demons and Michael the archangel and the angels, then Revelation 13, there's a war on the earth, so the heavenly war breaks out on the earth, so each chapter is focused on one of these big themes within the context of this three chapter parentheses, then Revelation 14, the angel gives John seven visions, and then he gives very, and there's a vision, so that John gains insight into how God's going to intervene, John's thinking, yeah, but what's going to happen to the saints during all this time, I mean, what about us, what are you going to say, what are you going to do, how are you going to help, give us some ideas, and so Revelation 14, we find seven visions which describe how the Lord's going to intervene to empower the church to walk in great victory, the church will walk in great victory, many will be martyred, they will lose their life, not all the saints will lose their life by any means, many will lose their life, many will not lose their life, but the saints will be victorious because they won't yield to compromise, they won't cave into fear, they won't cave into lust, they won't give in to the antichrist and say, no, we're not afraid of you, we love him and we trust his leadership and we're going with him, so that's what chapter 14 gives, seven visions that give confidence as to how the Lord will intervene and give a clarity as to the victory of the church, top of page two, now within these three chapters, this parentheses, this pause button has been put on on the storyline when the angel's talking to John for three chapters, there are seven main symbols in the book of Revelation, there's a few more than seven, but seven main ones and all of them are found in these three chapters, at least the seven that I identify as the main symbols, paragraph C, the dragon, he's mentioned a number of times, is always symbolic of Satan, I mean the symbols are quite straightforward, so you don't have to worry about which or which, they're very, very clear what they are, the first beast is symbolic of the antichrist, the first beast, now he's only called the first beast once, then after that, 36 times he's called the beast, he's mostly just called the beast, but he's called the first beast on this one occasion in Revelation 13, symbolic of the antichrist, paragraph E, another beast, that is symbolic of the false prophet, so the antichrist and the false prophet, they are partners in crime in the most severe and perverse way, now the false prophet is always called the false prophet, except for one time he's called another beast, so don't be thrown off by that in Revelation 13, the antichrist is the first beast, the false prophet's another beast, from then on through the rest of the book, he's just called the beast, the antichrist is called the beast and the false prophet is called the false prophet, paragraph F, there's seven heads, this appears several times in the book of Revelation, seven heads, these seven heads represent seven empires that persecute Israel, and I have those seven empires listed, the seven empires that were anti-semitic, that persecuted Israel, and there's one is yet still future, paragraph G, there's ten horns, the ten horns speak of a future ten nation, ten nation confederation, there's going to be ten kings, there's ten nations or ten kings, they're going to come into a confederation, a unity together, so there's ten kings, they're in the Middle East and Europe, in the area of the Middle East and Europe, ten of these kings, and there's different theories as to which, who they are, and there's, the Bible does give a couple real direct statements about which nations they are, and then a few hints, and so there's, you know, a little debate on what they are, but it's clear there will be ten nations in the Middle East and Europe, that will come together, there, and they will be in unity together, and they will be under the authority of the antichrist, they will be unified, and they'll submit their kingdoms to the antichrist, let's go down to paragraph I, we find the woman and the male child, the male child's clearly Jesus, in Revelation 12, we'll look at that in a minute, and the woman is the faithful remnant of Israel throughout redemptive history, I mean, from Abraham, that's, Abraham was 4,000 years ago, was Abraham, 2,000 AD, I mean BC, Abraham was 2,000 BC, 4,000 years ago, he's the first Jewish believer in covenant with God, if you want to use that term, and meaning, he was actually, he was actually a gentile that came into covenant with God and all of his children, that is the Jewish race after him, but so he's the first one, and from him on, the faithful remnant of Israel, that is the woman of Revelation chapter 12, and now we're not going to go into great detail on this, because we don't have time tonight, but this simple little grid will help you read through the chapters, and again, I have the additional notes on the internet, like a, I think it's 12 pages, where I break this down with a lot more detail, if you're looking at this thing, I'm not quite getting enough detail, I want a little bit more, and of course, you can go on the internet and get tons of detail all over the internet on all this, all these subjects, if you want as well, okay, let's go, Roman number three, war breaks out in heaven, so that's the first part of the, this parentheses, this parenthetical section, this angelic explanation, I'm using those terms interchangeably, war breaks out in heaven between Satan and Michael, the result is, Satan will be cast to the earth, can you imagine Satan and all the demons being cast out of the heavenly realm and bound to the earth, I mean, he's going to be cast to the earth at the beginning of the great tribulation, I mean, I don't know that any of us can picture what it will look like, every single demon that's in the heavenly places, powers and principalities and forces of wickedness, all of them will be grounded and on the earth, and I mean, there will be more demons, powerful demons operating on the earth scene and more demonized people at that time than any time of history, let's read the account, war broke out in heaven, verse 7, chapter 12, Michael and his angels fought Satan, and Satan and his angels fought back, so there's this war going up in the heavenly realm, in the midheavens, the dragon or Satan and his angels did not prevail, and there wasn't a place found for them in the heavenly realm any longer, now when you, the Bible describes three heavens, by the way, just so you get a feeling of it, you might go, what, heaven, I thought God was in heaven, the Bible describes three heavens, there's the third heavens, that's paradise, in 2nd Corinthians 12, I don't have this in the notes, that's called the third heavens, or paradise, that's where God's throne is, his abode, that's the third heavens, there's the first heavens, that's the sky, the atmosphere above us, that's called all through the Bible, the heavens, the heavens declare the glory of God, let's talk about the sky and the stars, but there's the first heavens, the sky and the stars, there's the midheavens, or some call it the second heavens, that's where the demonic host operates, and that's where there's clash of angelic powers with demon powers in the midheavens, and then there's the third heavens, where the abode of God is, well there's, it says in verse 8, that Satan didn't prevail, and his host is, I guess, billions of demons, I mean, I'm assuming there's billions of them, no one knows the number, there wasn't a place any longer in the midheavens, is the idea, verse 9, then the dragon, now, so there's no guesswork, the dragon is the devil, so John interprets who the dragon is, so we're not guessing who the dragon is in the book of Revelation, he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out of the midheavens to the earth with him, again, how intense, all of these powerful principalities and powers, grounded on the earth, and restrained to the, their sphere of operation is earth bound, they cannot, because the heavenly realm gives them a place of greater influence, and greater power in the heavenly realm, and so they're bound, and they're really angry, verse 12, they're so angry, the verse 12 says, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because the devil has come down to you, and you could put in parentheses, against his will, he's coming down, he doesn't want to be grounded, and he has great anger, it says wrath, fury, anger, burning rage, because he knows he only has a short amount of time, which is three and a half more years, and what happens after that, he is thrown into prison after that, Revelation 21 tells us that the big angel throws him into prison for a thousand years, Satan knows he's going to prison, and he doesn't want to go to prison, that's what, that's on his mind right now, to stay out of prison, and he's trying to cause as much trouble as possible to keep the prison sentence from happening, okay, paragraph b, some people teach, I mean some really good bible teachers teach this, I want to say it that way, again, I want to honor all the different opinions of people that love Jesus, and love the word, there's so many different opinions on the end times, and we have room to dialogue, and fellowship, and learn from each other, I just, I don't think that we can say that enough times, but some teach that this casting of Satan out of heaven happened at the cross, that's a real popular teaching, Satan was cast out of heaven at the cross, except for Paul tells us in Ephesians 6, that Satan is in the heavenly places all through the church age, so it's, it's, to me it's not reasonable that Satan is bound to the earth, he's not in the heavenly places right now, this casting out of heaven is yet a future, literal future event, yet to come, okay, number, paragraph c, one of the unique dynamics in the end times is that Satan and all of his demons will be on the earth, I mean it says here in Revelation 13, verse 2, that Satan the dragon will give the antichrist his throne, I mean Satan's gonna be on the earth, and he says, hey I need a human to work through, because I'm grounded right now, down to the earth, I need to exert my power into the, into the human realm, through humans, and so he's going to give his full power, and his throne to the antichrist, okay, top of page 3, I mean that is just staggering, the implications of this are staggering, that's why it's, I believe it's very important for the body of Christ to know what the Bible says about these hours, some think, well it's just going to be a, no big deal, it'll take care of itself, I said just take care of itself, I think you want to be prepared, and if you're not alive at that time, you certainly want to prepare your children and grandchildren, because they might be alive at that time, and if not, they need to be preparing theirs, because it will, can you imagine the turmoil of the earth, of all the demonic realm on the earth, operating in great rage, I mean the chaos, and the lawlessness of the nations, and the murder, and the sorcery, and the demon worship that will be happening, the perversion will be beyond anything we can imagine right now, it is something that we want to understand from the biblical point of view, top of page 3, so we're in chapter 12, we're going on now, it's the next passage, the next verse, right after the war in the heavens, John said, went on to say verse 13, now when Satan saw he had been cast to the earth, he went after the woman, the remnant of Israel, he went after the woman, the remnant that gave birth to the male child, and that was back earlier in chapter 12, we skipped some of that, but I have some of that on the notes on the internet, so when Satan is cast to the earth, his rage is going to be fixated on Israel, he wants to destroy the nation of Israel, the woman who gave, the remnant of Israel that gave birth to the male child, which is again clearly Jesus, but verse 14, the woman was given two wings of a great angel, and so she will fly into the wilderness to her place, that's symbolic of course, given the wings of a great angel is clearly symbolic, she'll fly into the wilderness to her place, where she'll be nourished or fed for three and a half years, when it says time, times and half a time, a time is one year, times is two years, half a time is a half a year, and then again that is pretty easy to prove, I'm not going to do it right now, I've got it in some of the other notes, but that's a real common understanding of time, times and half a time, she'll be nourished for three and a half years from the presence of Satan, so Satan, so the serpent, he will spew, he will spew water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be totally destroyed or carried away by the flood, he's after the total destruction of the state of Israel, I mean you can see right now the anti-semitism that's raising up in the earth, it's growing in a way that's observable in the last number of years, and I mean it's increasing right now, it is going to increase far beyond anything that's happened up to now, because that's the demonic agenda, verse 16, but the earth helped the woman, now the way the earth helped the woman, not the earth in one sense, but it's God touching the elements of the earth in a supernatural way, so that the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of its mouth, so the earth helps the woman in this way, and helps the woman, I have some notes to develop that a little bit more if you want to read that, verse 17, and the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went off, because he's part of the remnant of Israel, not all of Israel, but part of the remnant of Israel, not all of them are in the wilderness, just a portion, and someone goes who, I don't know, I don't know how they get there, you know, but I'm sure they will get there, but so the dragon, Satan, who's enraged at Israel, the remnant of Israel, went to make war with the rest of the offspring of this woman, which is the end-time born-again Gentile church, it's those who keep the commands of God, and they have the testimony of Jesus, so it's clearly born-again believers that it's talking about, okay, so born-again believers are on the earth at this time, the rage of Satan is coming against them, you get paragraph A, now when Satan sees he's confined to the earth, he will persecute Israel, and he'll persecute the saints, he'll persecute Israel and the saints, the woman is given two wings of a great eagle, and I have a little bit on the eagle here, just a little bit there, let's look at Roman numeral 5, now we're going to move on to chapter 13, we just did a quick glance at chapter 12 about the war in the heavens, and that war in the heavens is Satan comes down with all of his demons to the earth, and they're going after Israel, and God has an element of supernatural protection for part of Israel, not all of Israel, because there's a number of other passages where Israel is being attacked, and in a very fierce way, and many of them are dying, you find that in Zechariah chapter 12 to 14, it tells the group of the Jews that are not in the wilderness area, and I don't know how God determines which ones are taken away to the wilderness, and the others that stay in Jerusalem, but many Jews will be in Jerusalem in the heat of the conflict, dying, and in a place of battle against the armies of the Antichrist surrounding the city of Jerusalem. Paragraph A, now we're in Revelation 13, now Satan, you know, he's down on the earth, so he gives his authority to the Antichrist, because he wants the Antichrist to continue in his rage to destroy Israel and the church, so Satan gives his authority to the Antichrist, and the Antichrist's mandate is complete Satan's plan to destroy Israel, and to destroy the church. Paragraph B, we find Revelation 13, the dragon gave the Antichrist his power, his throne, and his authority, and the people of the nations worshipped the dragon, that's Satan, and they worshipped the beast, so the Antichrist worship is Satan worship, and Satan worship will be Antichrist, the Antichrist and Satan are not the same, the Antichrist is fully embodied, or indwelling, or the Antichrist is fully demonized, I'll say it that way, but the Satan is a different person from the Antichrist, though he fully empowers him, and some people think, even say that he embodies him, it's hard to know exactly, but we know that this man, the Antichrist is fully human, but he's fully demonized as well, and he's different from Satan, he's Satan's ambassador, so to speak, and so they worship the dragon, verse 4, or Satan, that's Satan worship, they worship the beast, that's Antichrist worship, which is the same, and the nations will say, who is like the Antichrist? In other words, who's able to successfully make war against him, and prevail, that's the question, the Antichrist will be so powerful, he will appear invincible, but it only, it only looks that way, because he will be destroyed after three and a half years, but for a while, the nations will believe he is invincible, but it's a lie, he is destroyed, verse 7, it was granted to the Antichrist at this time, to make war with the saints, so the saints will be here, when the Antichrist is down here, making war, and he will overcome the saints, now he'll overcome, not all the saints, by the way, he'll overcome many, but not all, and overcome means he will kill them, it doesn't mean that he will cause them to backslide, because in Revelation 12, we skipped the verse, in Revelation 12, verse 11, the saints overcome the Antichrist, well, who, which way is it, does the Antichrist overcome the saints, or do they overcome him, which is which, well, the Antichrist and Satan overcome the saints physically, but the saints overcome them spiritually, because they don't yield to their intimidation, they don't yield to their temptation, they don't yield to their threats, they don't yield to the martyrdom, they don't yield to Satan, so they actually are victorious, because they refuse to yield, they're bold and strong in love, paragraph D, the Antichrist will seek to kill anyone who refuses to worship him, he won't kill everyone who refuses, but he'll seek to, he'll be on a rampage across the nations, and by the way, Satan, the Antichrist will not dominate every nation, I believe he'll have a presence in every nation, he'll have an influence, but he will not dominate every nation, it's very clear, there's a number of passages, particularly in the book of Daniel 11, when it's clear that nations are resisting the Antichrist, clear to the end, they're not yielding to him, there will be resisting nations, the 10 nations for sure will be committed to the Antichrist, but beloved, there's about 200 nations, depending on how you count, approximately 200, some say 232, some say 192, that's what the United Nations says, because they define nationhood in a more strict way, but just say approximately 200 nations, so we know 10 of them will be under the Antichrist, and we know that many will be dominated by him, but is it 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, is it 100, I don't know, but we know some nations resist till the very end, to the very, very end, and so, and then at the very end, after the seventh trumpet, he gets all the kings of the earth, finally in unity, in the final literal days, before Jesus destroys them all, so when, when, when the Bible talks about the Antichrist in all the nations, don't imagine he fully dominates every nation, that's not what the Bible makes clear, but I think he'll have an influence and a presence in all the nations, but he will be resisted as well, in many of them, Kitab of page 4, paragraph E, the false prophet will be the leader of a worldwide religious network, he'll be devoted to causing all the nations to worship the Antichrist, the false prophet, his goal is to do the bidding of the Antichrist, to make him supreme, the supreme leader of the earth, worship by as many as he can get to, he can manipulate and force and pressure to worship the Antichrist, it says here, I saw another beast, which is the false prophet, verse 11, this is the only time the false prophet's called another beast, every other time he's called the false prophet, he had two horns like a lamb, so he will appear to be peace loving like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon, he'll be bold and fierce, he will be fearless, fierce as well, bold like a dragon, but he will appear to have an agenda that's like a lamb, that's peace loving, paragraph F, John highlighted three strategies the false prophet will use to get the nations to worship the Antichrist, paragraph G, first, the false prophet will be a prophet, that's why he's called a false prophet, he's a messenger, that's intrinsic to the false prophet, as he is a preacher, he is proclaiming oracles that he claims are from God, he will have his demonically empowered public speeches, will be confirmed with great miracles to deceive the masses, he will have his demonically empowered speeches, public speeches, he'll make these public speeches before the nations, and of course the, I mean the first person that comes to mind to me and many when they read this is Adolf Hitler, they said that he had a, he had power when he spoke, and people were mystified by the, many people that were against him when they were out of his presence, they went to the mass meetings where hundreds of thousands gathered, and they testified later after the World War II was over, they said we were swept away by him, and when we got in his presence and he presented his agenda, it was so, it captivated us, and they didn't know how he did it, and of course the false prophet will be far more powerful than Adolf Hitler, but he will use publicly, public speeches, and they'll, he'll give them, there'll be great power on them, it'll be demonic power, and then he'll have signs and wonders to back him up, he'll say watch this, and he'll do all these great healings and miracles, and the masses will say he must be from God, look at the miracles he's doing, let's look at paragraph H, secondly he will establish a worship system that's related to the abomination of desolation, he will not only have public speeches, he will have a worldwide worship system, a worship system, and this worship system is related to the abomination of desolation, well let's read about the worship system first, in Revelation 13 verse 14, he will tell those who dwell on the earth, this will be one of his big messages, to make a statue to the Antichrist, or to the beast, so the false prophet will tell the nations make a statue to the Antichrist, verse 15, and the most remarkable thing happens is that he was granted the false prophet to give breath to the statue, I mean how can a statue breathe, and I don't know if the statue breathes or not, it's so vague, but it certainly appears to breathe, there's this demonic miracle where the statue appears to breathe or does breathe, I don't know, I can't imagine, I don't know how that works, that's beyond my pay grade, but the image of the beast, this statue would not only breathe, but the statue would speak, it would speak on its own, on its own initiative is the idea, and the statue would give orders, the statue would speak and breathe this, I mean a demonic miraculous statue, and this, the orders would kill everyone who does not worship the Antichrist, so people says, well if that statue breathes and talks and gives us orders, we better obey it, I mean the nations will be terrified by this statue, okay, paragraph one, this worship system will be related to the abomination of desolations, now the abomination of desolations is a, is a, a term that Jesus used in Matthew 24, matter of fact Jesus, the only political or religious event that Jesus pointed to was verse 15, he goes, when you see the abomination of desolations take place, he goes, go back and study the book of Daniel, when you see it take place, then you know that the Antichrist is right there, and the whole end time drama has begun, so Jesus said, the abomination of desolation was absolutely top priority for us to understand it, and to recognize when the abomination of desolation takes place, now some of you might be new tonight, you go, what on earth is the abomination of, I can't even say that term hardly, you know, what does that mean, well again, if you went on Google, you'd get a whole bunch of information on it, and probably fairly, a lot of it would be somewhat in the same vein, probably a good portion of it would be having never went on Google to look at it, but most Bible teachers that teach on it, teach on it in the general same vein, but again on our website, I have a, in my Daniel series that I gave last summer, I did a whole session for an hour on the abomination of desolation, and broke it all down, it's on the internet, if you want to watch it, you can see it on video, all the notes are there, transcriptions are there, so if you're saying, man I want to break this thing down a little bit, and give you a little bit more on it, so I have maybe have about a six or ten page, probably a ten page document, something like that on the abomination of desolation, from a biblical point of view, what it is, because it's the number one event Jesus said to recognize that you would know you were in those, that final drama, when you see this event happen, so it's something the church really does need to know, now the abomination of desolation, paragraph one, in one sentence, is the Antichrist does a series of abominable or evil deeds, the abomination are the deeds of the Antichrist, they're abomination to God, and they cause desolation, or you could put the word destruction, so it's the abominable deeds of the Antichrist that leads to destruction or desolation across nations, and the great abominable deed that the Antichrist does, is right here in second Thessalonians 2, Paul the apostle described it, he claims to be God, that's the great abomination, he goes into the Jerusalem temple, the Jewish temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem in the future, Paul said when that temple's built, this man will walk into the Jewish temple, sit in the Holy of Holies, and say I'm gone, I'm the God of Israel, I'm the God of the nations, that is the great abomination that will lead to desolation, because millions, maybe billions, will believe him and worship him as the true God, and that abomination will bring great destruction all over the place. Okay, paragraph three, the law will require, they will, the Antichrist will change the laws, he'll have the power of the state behind him, the law will require everybody to worship the Antichrist, those who refuse will be guilty of the death penalty, it will be a crime against the state to refuse to worship the Antichrist, the penalty will be, it will be the death penalty, will be what people will be guilty of, because it will, they'll be saying, wait a second, the only man that's ever brought peace to the nations, the man that's bringing the answer, that's unifying the earth by force, but he's unifying the earth, if you're against him, you're against the goodwill of the earth, so that will be the death penalty, because it will be seen as a crime against the state. Well, the third thing that the Antichrist, that the false prophet will do, so he'll have, he'll have public speeches, and then paragraph eight, he'll have a worship system, then paragraph I, he will establish a worldwide economic system to back up the worship system, and it's of course the mark of the beast system, most of you are familiar with that, and you can read it there, it's pretty straightforward, okay, top of page five, top of page five, now we're coming to the third chapter, remember there's three chapters in this parentheses, chapter 12, the war in the heavens, chapter 13, the war on the earth, chapter 14, this is how Jesus says, I'm going to intervene and help you, I'm going to intervene and help the people of God, paragraph A, the purpose of this parenthetical section, parentheses, or this angelic explanation, again you can use it interchangeably, those terms, is to give insight into the certainty of victory for the saints. When you read these messages here, when you read these seven visions, you walk away with a certain certainty of victory, the people of God win, the people of the Antichrist lose, and so these seven visions are really, they give strength, and of course they're far bigger than us taking three or four minutes to go over them in kind of a snapshot way. Okay, let's look at Roman numeral seven, the first section, the first section is the 144,000, the 144,000, they will be prophetic singers, can you imagine 144,000 gifted anointed singers, I don't mean a thousand, 144,000 Jewish singers singing like King David sang, those new songs from heaven, and the worship movement will not be limited to the 144,000, there'll be a spirit of prophecy and prophetic singing covering the earth, as Isaiah 42 makes it very, very clear, they'll be singing in the mountains, in the islands, in the coastlands, read Isaiah 42, verse 10 to 13, describing the second coming in answer to the prophetic worship movement all around the earth, but these 144 Jewish prophetic singers will be a model of victory, in other words, when we read the power that God will give them, that gives insight into how much God is going to help people, of course they're the ultimate that he's helping, the 144,000, and the two witnesses, of course, are whatever God does in those two, he'll do not exactly the same measure in others, but he will give that kind of anointing in a lesser degree to the body of Christ, it's this is how willing God is to break in and help the body of Christ, and so we got a little bit there on the 144,000, you can read that, the Roman numerals eight, Wes Hall said, hey I want to hear some detail on that 144,000, so I'm sure he's going to be a little bit dissatisfied with my 47 seconds on that passage, okay, so there you go Wes, okay Roman numeral eight, so in the Q&A we're going to have in a minute, ask Wes the hardest questions you can on the 144,000, okay, paragraph A, I mean the second section of Revelation 14, the second section has four prophetic proclamations, paragraph A, John identified four messages, or four promises that have to be boldly proclaimed, and when these four messages are proclaimed, I believe the Spirit will back it up with signs and wonders and power, I don't mean every time, but these four messages are really top priority on the Holy Spirit's agenda, and we don't have to wait till then, till those final years leading to the Lord's return, those four messages are important now, I believe even now, as the nations are just, you know, as the decades are unfolding and we're getting closer and closer to the Lord's return, nobody knows when, nobody knows the day of the hour, again it might be in our lifetime, it might not be in our lifetime, but as we get closer to it, these four messages will be very, very important, the first message, paragraph B, is the message that the certainty of the gospel will be preached to all nations, the gospel will be preached, there's certainty, this message makes it very, very clear, even with angelic assistance, paragraph C, the second message is the certainty of judgment on the heart of Babylon, the proclamation of the message of the total defeat of heart of Babylon, why is this an important message? Because many people will be tempted and will in fact join that system, we can say with boldness and power, that system is bankrupt, it will not prevail, don't join it, it will be totally defeated, we can say that boldly, even though for a short moment, it will look invincible and it will look glorious, top of page 6, there's the message, the third message, because there's four messages in the second section, the message of the certainty of eternal judgment, why is this an important message? The message of eternal judgment, I mean it's really bad news for the people receiving it and it's a message that needs to be preached with tears, but for believers or for going to be believers, those that end up saying yes to the Lord, when they hear about the certainty of the destruction of saying no to Jesus and yielding to the temporary pleasure and the temporary privilege, I mean perks of the antichrist, when we proclaim, we being the body of Christ, proclaims the certain eternal judgment of those that go there, people fear God, they go you know what, I'm not going there, and it really emboldens the church and it makes the church strong if this message is preached, of course there's a real move today to shy away from the subject of God's judgment and particularly his eternal judgment, and to make it to where it's not real, and so the element of the fear of God is taken out of this message, but the angel is going to, I mean the leadership of heaven, the angels, the Holy Spirit, the father, the son, they insist this message will be proclaimed in that hour, and I don't want to wait till then to proclaim it, the church can proclaim it now, not wait until that hour, then paragraph e, not only the eternal judgment, but the message of eternal rewards for faithfulness, in other words, it's worth it, Jesus is worth it, I mean he's worth it, that's enough, but everyone that perseveres and loses so much in the conflict, every single thing they gave, they'll get a hundredfold, I mean the return is beyond a hundredfold, the measure of reward return is so strong, and this message must be preached with clarity and with certainty, and then Roman numeral nine, the third section of revelation 14, because there's three sections in it, the 144,000, the four prophetic proclamations I just went through, and the third section is the final harvest, a harvest of judgment, and a harvest of souls, both harvests are going to come, there's two judgments, there's, I mean two harvests, there's going to be the harvest of the nations, the church will come to maturity, I believe a billion plus will come into the kingdom, but there'll be a harvest of judgment too, sin will also become ripe, not just righteousness, and God will bring a harvest, meaning he's going to cause the consequences of that, those sinful actions to also come to fruition as well, that's what I mean by the word harvest, and that's how that term is being used here, there will be sure consequences, all the, there'll be a full harvest of souls, but there'll be a full harvest of wickedness, wickedness will come to maturity, and it will be completely destroyed, and it will be harvested and tossed aside as the tears and burned in the fire, so that's a little snapshot of revelation 12, 13, and 14, and you don't really ever want to do all three of those chapters in 46 minutes, because it's really, if you could do, you'll never talk like this, you'll be talking as fast as I talk, so there you have it, okay let's stand.

Mike Bickle (1955 - ). American evangelical pastor, author, and founder of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), born in Kansas City, Missouri. Converted at 15 after hearing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach at a 1970 Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference, he pastored several St. Louis churches before founding Kansas City Fellowship in 1982, later Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999, he launched IHOPKC, pioneering 24/7 prayer and worship, growing to 2,500 staff and including a Bible college until its closure in 2024. Bickle authored books like Passion for Jesus (1994), emphasizing intimacy with God, eschatology, and Israel’s spiritual role. Associated with the Kansas City Prophets in the 1980s, he briefly aligned with John Wimber’s Vineyard movement until 1996. Married to Diane since 1973, they have two sons. His teachings, broadcast globally, focused on prayer and prophecy but faced criticism for controversial prophetic claims. In 2023, Bickle was dismissed from IHOPKC following allegations of misconduct, leading to his withdrawal from public ministry. His influence persists through archived sermons despite ongoing debates about his legacy
