If I could plot it this way. That is success. That is time. We can say that a normal life would go like that. It would go like that. Success increases with time. Depending on the ability and the opportunities. When a person is cursed, then he begins to perform less than that. If the curse is small, it can be like that. Because curses vary in intensity. Depending upon the magnitude of the curse. The magnitude of the curse. Most of us function under a curse, but they don't know it. If somebody is having, say, 14 out of 20. In a system where that is good. But he might have been given abilities for 18, 19, 20. But he might have been given abilities for 18, 19, 20. With 14 out of 20, that is wonderful. He doesn't consider what he could have obtained if he wasn't under that curse which diminishes his ability. Maybe he is earning $100,000. Maybe he is earning $100,000. And he says, well, I am doing very well. But he is earning $1,000,000. So he is at 10% of what he could have been. But because of his ignorance, he thinks he is doing very well. So, a curse does make you to attain levels lower than what God intended you to be. So you may get some price of distinction. For that, you could have gotten a Nobel. If the curse had not reduced you to that, which to you looks very great. That is what a curse does. Since there is no distinction, since there is no time, I will just tell you also what a blessing is. A blessing means that if that is where you utter a bit of cursing, you may now offer it at this level. Or even there. Depending on the magnitude of the blessing. This applies to secular life. Applies to spiritual life. Applies to everything. That somebody can just be functioning normally. Or he may be functioning under a small curse. Or under an average size curse. Or under a very great curse. Or he may be functioning under a small blessing. An average blessing. Great blessing. Or exceedingly great blessing. In a sense of set off. For those who know the Bible, when you see what God offers, and when most deliverance ends, look at it this way. If someone was supposed to be flying in a supersonic jet, or flying in a jet, in a kill attack, or he could not even fly at all, he is just running. Or he is going in a fast car. Or in a fast car. Or in a big truck. Or in a truck that breaks every two hours. Or this. Or all this. He may be running. He may be running fast. Or he may be running. Or he may be jogging. Or he may be walking. Or he may be crawling. Just imagine that you are crawling. Or else you would have been going by a supersonic jet. The first thing that comes to you is that it is folly to compare yourself to another. A person who is supposed to have been going by a supersonic jet is now jogging. He is now jogging. And he will say to himself, look at you, you are walking and I am jogging. And the other one is crawling. So I am very great. But he does not know that he is supposed to have been going here. So there is always very deep folly attached to all possible. So man, I ran better than everybody else. I do not remember. I was supposed to climb. I saw this plane out there. I am really enjoying it. The man in the plane out there. This is a small plane with one engine. I am in the air. As it was supposed to be in a big plane. Boasting is the fruit of gratefulness. Comparing oneself to the other in order to boast is the exposure of deep ignorance or deep folly. Spiritually if you lead a hundred people you are also a leader of a hundred people. So you should have been a leader of a hundred thousand people. You should have looked at the other person in isolation. That is a hundred compared to the one hundred thousand you ought to have been leading. What is 100 compared to the 100,000 that you have worked for? Have you worked where God intended you to work? Have you walked where God intended you to walk? Why don't you say a few words? Speak at my feet. Father, we thank you for this word that is coming forth to us. Father, we pray that you would open each one of our eyes to see, Lord, where we stand and where you wanted us to be. Lord, may you change our viewpoints tonight. May you change our viewpoints, Lord, this evening as we look at where we are and where you wanted us to be. And Lord, may you draw our hearts to desire and to do what it takes to get to where you want us to be, Lord. Father, we pray, O Lord, that your conflict of the sin of comparing ourselves to others instead of comparing ourselves to your standards, instead of comparing ourselves to what you expect of us. Father, may you dismantle in our minds all worldly carnal ways of viewing ourselves as based on comparing ourselves to others. And may you close blinds and eyes here to see eye to eye with you so far as our lives are concerned. Amen. A second person, please. I have asked to then type out the mind, yes. One of them thought he was doing quite well and he was quite full of himself. And his junior sister came to the U.S. Went into real estate. And recently she bought herself a house for 1.7 million dollars. Before she was 28. Then the brother said, oh, I'm not as good. He described that there was nothing to boast about. Because he managed to get a flat for himself. Say all boasting is folly. God forgive my folly. All comparing of myself to others is folly. All comparison that leads to superiority complex is folly. All comparison that leads to inferiority complex is folly. All comparison that leads to inferiority complex is folly. Lord, you do not compare me to another. You compare me to myself. To what I ought to be. You compare me to what I ought to be. Had I obeyed you perfectly. All the time. Don't look at it that way. There is only one crime. Lord have mercy on me. Have mercy. I have not obeyed you as I should. I have not obeyed you in all things as I ought to have done. And therefore I have not fair ought to have been. I may be a lot better than others. But that's not what counts. To square ought to have been. Had I rendered total obedience to you in all things. All the time. God's best is reserved to those who render to him total obedience in all things. All the time. God's best is reserved to those who render to him total obedience. In all things. All the time. I fall short. I fall short. Only the unmerited grace of God. And the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on Calvary. Gives me a standing before God. In the merit of my being and the merit of my doing. There is nothing to boast of. I stand on God's grace. Is there someone here? He has been trying to save himself. That is good news. He has a long list of what he does not do. He compares himself to others. And congratulates himself is better for one person. I want to say. Even the best person on earth. Falls short of God's glory. Even the best person on earth. Falls short of God's glory. If you are to be accepted. If you are to be accepted. You must come by the merit of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you turn to your right. Your sins in deed. Stand before you. If you look to your front. Your sins in speech. Stand before you. If you turn to your left. Your sins in thought. Pursue you. If there is to be hope. You must be on the merit of Christ alone. Is there someone here? Who wants to say Lord? I come on the merit of what Jesus Christ did on Calvary. Death or Ultimate. He is bearing the sins of all sinners. I come on the merit of his death. I lay hold on the blood that was shed to wash away my sins. By that blood I come O God. Forgive me. Not on the merit of anything that I have done in the past that I can do now or can never do in the future. This will only be my own righteousness. And it is still to be done. I come on the basis of your righteousness. The righteousness of Jesus Christ made available to me. Is there someone here? Who is not saved? Who is not cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ? But today. He wants Jesus Christ to come into his heart and forgive him. And take him to himself. So that he may belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. On the basis of the blood of Jesus Christ. Is there such a person? If there is, put up your hand. I want to be saved. On the basis of the blood that was shed on Calvary by Jesus Christ. Is there such a person? Put up your hand. You want to be forgiven. On the basis of the blood of Jesus Christ. That washes away your sins. And blots out your sins completely. Put up your hand if you want to be forgiven now. And admit him to the bosom of God. Become his child. Is there someone? Put up your hand. Jesus. I want that salvation here now. If you want, put up your hand. Put up your hand if you want. Put up your hand and go to him. Who else? God loves you. And wants to forgive you. Every sinner is blind to his sin. Either permanently, either totally blind. Or partially blind. Because until God specially opens a man's eye, he will not see his sin. When I was in Sierra Leone at the university. A distant relative of mine. He said, you may be surprised to hear that I have gotten a child. But that other girl has three. She was saying. After childbirth, it's not very bad because I don't have a child. I don't have three. Because of the blindness of the heart. People compare their sin to others and congratulate themselves that they have not sung so low. One unbeliever told a believer in Yaoundé. You really needed to have repented because you went too far. I want you to pray. Say God. Tear the veil on my heart. Oh God, tear the veil on my heart. So that I may see my sin as it is before you. God, tear the veil from my heart. So that I may see my sin as it is before you. And oh God. Grant me power to repent. God, grant me the power to repent. I don't have the power to repent naturally. Lord, if I am to repent. And I need to repent. You must give me the power to repent. Give it to me now. In Jesus name, Amen. Say someone else. Who needs the forgiveness of God through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross. This is your opportunity. To change kingdoms. To change from a deserved kingdom to a kingdom of God sung. This is a second person. Don't delay. Say here I am. I need that Jesus. I have tried to save myself. But I am very hopeless. I need a savior. Is there someone who needs the forgiveness? You will not improve on your own. You have started to sink. You are already scratching the surface of sin. You will plunge deeper. Back to the theme of curses. How do curses come about? Turn with us to Genesis. In chapter 2. The Bible says. Verse 8. Now the Lord God hath planted a garden in the east in Eden and there he put the man he had formed. And the Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground. Trees that were pleasing to the eyes and good for food. Oh pleasing to the eye. And good for food. God is interested in beauty. In what one sees. Didn't God say God made food that was good to eat? First of all. Pleasing to the eye. A romantic table. Dressed to tell a story. And a dear flower. A rare flower not imported from China. And then a plate that tells a story. And then food. That says. You just have to eat. And then when that food gets to your mouth. Before you discover it has gone down. That has gone. Crudeness incorporated is not to sin. Crudeness incorporated is not to sin. Oh. Trees that were pleasing to the eye. And good for food. We will rise up to God's standards. And demolish everything that is less than that. And in all that we do. We present that which is pleasing to the eye. And good inside it. God is not only interested in character. He is also interested in appearance. That's why when you choose a wife. You don't just close your eyes and. You have to look all your life. So at least you should look before. But you will live with the character. Maybe they can't get. She kicks the door with her leg. She closes the door gently. If you are a door banker. And you also buy a door banker. People will be banging the door. Nobody will be shocked. The gentleman who closes the door very softly. And your brutality comes down. You are a man. Oh vice versa. Yes. You might give one person a heart attack before time. No. After God had done this. He said in the middle of the garden. Was the tree of life. And the tree of the knowledge of God and evil. Fabulous trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. Trees. It can be so nice outside. But when you eat it. It will tell you a story inside. It's nice in the mouth. It gives you two days of stomach problems. But good to look at. Good for food. In the middle of the garden. There was the tree of life. And the tree of the knowledge of God and evil. The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and to take of it. Laziness has nothing to do with God. Man was put there to work the garden and to take of it. Hard work is not a fruit of the fall. I remember when I was six, seven, eight, I liked rice. Rice then was Christmas food. It's not today that rice is the cheapest food on earth. I said, I wish I jumped and if I had not fallen. I thought that if there was no fall, you just say, table appear and the table will appear and your favorite food will appear on the table and you eat until you can eat no more. And then you say, table disappear until you are hungry again. That's what I thought. That's foolish. Man was put in the garden to work it and to take of it. Man was put in the garden to work it and to take of it. Hard work is part of God's perfection. There is even less work hard. To work it and take of it. I repent for the third world where there is so much disorder. I repent for the third world where there is so much disorder. You could have 20 pools per square meter. In some countries, there is no maintenance at all. They build new buildings by breaking them. After a few years, it's in ruins. That's ungodliness. To work it and to take of it. Who is a tenant here? Put up your hand. Good. When you get out of the house, maybe it should be better than when you entered. That's godliness. When I do get out of this apartment, I will leave it better than it was when I entered it. So that I leave the marks of Christian character behind. To work it and to take of it. To someone pray. That would be a consistent character of all who call themselves God's children. When the movie is told to us, then we often think that we have reached the level of hard work. We don't know God. We want to try and reach the level of hard work based on God's protect. God exposes us whenever we have any strength of faith in ourselves. God will tell people by the number of hours they sleep. We will be sleeping ourselves to kill you with that. God will crucify our sleeping habits. And the Lord God commanded man, you are to eat from any tree of the garden, but you must not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die. All were allowed, including the tree of life. Even the tree of life was available and it was not forbidden. The sad thing is that the only tree that man chose to eat was the forbidden one. That is in my thoughts of wonder. What did he tell man? Why did he not just play all of the tree of life? He did not touch the tree of life. He told about God's goodness, God's abundance, the tree of life was there. So man may eat it and live forever. Yet he refused and chose the tree that God said he shall not eat. It does not matter the disobedience of him. The thing that matters is that God's law was violated. You cannot go free for violating God's law. It is an action, there must be a reaction. It is not enough to say that the serpent seduced. In front of the college they asked man why did you fail your exam? He said oh it is misfortune. Someone said why did you fall in love with the serpent? That is in English, misfortune. Don't give excuses for your sin. That is not the way to a solution. Here we see again a problem. God told Adam, don't eat of the tree of life. It is not there that Eve was created. Eve was not there when God was giving the command. She received a second instruction from her head Adam. When the serpent came he decided to leave the man aside and talk to the woman. God has a son who is in his last year on the page of the program in organic chemistry. When was the second day? He said a woman was deceived. She talked to the devil. She sustained the conversation. She put the man aside. She told the man I will speak. And this stupid man foolish man called Adam. She took over. Before long she had signed a very dangerous covenant. And she ate the fruit. She told the husband eat. She commanded him. And the man ate. She was not there. When the serpent spoke. Talk to the man who was there when God was talking. She took the fruit. And talked. And took the fruit. She ate it. And let the commander eat. And the man ate it quickly. Somebody has said as the man was trying to swallow it quickly before God came. That's why he stopped here and there. Some men have. But it again tells you a lesson. When women rule over men. It is disaster. Because that's not what God meant to do. I know I'm in North America. But I'm not here to talk about North Americanism. I'm talking about the Bible. Man is a divine spokesman that God has. You can only violate that in order to have problems with you. Now God has. God came in. Adam and Eve ran and hid. Sin causes hiding. Their conscience was stricken. And they began to flee from God's presence. And the man said I heard you are going in the garden. I'm afraid because I was naked. Because who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten from a tree from which a commander did not eat? When God spoke he spoke to a man. Because man was the constitutional head. Then the man said. The woman you put here with me she gave me the fruit of the tree and I ate. The woman you put. He didn't say my wife. The woman that you put. So he said God is you and the woman who connect. I am only an innocent victim of your. The woman you get me. Men should be allowed to choose their wives. Because he was rejecting the choice of God. He said it's not my choice. The one you get me. In fact the woman you put here with me. She gave me the fruit. Excusez le péché. It's as if she was in a coma It's as if the guy was in a coma and she came to put him in his mouth. Then the Lord said to the woman. Why is this that you have done? The serpent deceived me and I ate. You know this matter of pushing the blame to another person. It takes courage to say that I have the problem. When a man says I am the problem. He is ready for God's intervention. If it is the system. It is this. It is that. You want a hiding place. God did not discuss with the serpent. God asked the question to Adam and Eve. But to the serpent. God pronounced the curse. You don't go discussing with Satan. Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman. Between your husband and your house. You will crush her head and you will strike his heel. The offspring of the woman. Jesus Christ is the greater offspring of the woman. To cross the head of the serpent. And that is what Jesus did on the cross. He gave the devil a technical knock out. He crushed the head of the serpent. It was the battle of Waterloo. When Napoleon was knocked out. The cross was the devil's Waterloo. The devil lost permanently. Then you and I can be saved. Straight in there. God and his love already prophesied the salvation of man. His love is great. His love is immeasurable. Could someone just thank the Lord for the depth of his love. The measure of the depth of his love. Amen. To the woman God said. And that is the woman's part of the curse. I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing. The pain you will give birth to children. Their desire will be true for your husband. And he will rule over you. Their desire will be true for your husband. And he will rule over you. That is part of the curse. And the men will rule over their wives. Who grinded them. Gladham he said. Because you listened to your wife. Because you listened to your wife. And ate from the tree about which I commanded you. You must not eat of it. Cursed is the ground because of you. Through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you. And you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food. Until you return to the ground. Since you are in the ground you will not eat of it. You will eat of it all the days of your life. She may use. But she hates the boy. But she claims her value. Because the pride of the woman is that the man touches her after marriage. Because the man touches her after marriage. So the man who touches her before marriage in some way she hates him for defiling her. And she decides that she will resist you. That's why many women are stubborn. They are no longer the prince charming. They have no power to retain their body. She is sorry for herself. And the cheap being whose name she has to bury. Keep yourself. Don't let her have you. Before marriage. Then she has a king. And she will honour you and follow you. When you are a Christian you put God aside to sleep with a girl before marriage. She will shake her head and say this man can not even honour God. A woman is more important to him than God. For whom a woman is more than God. My life is in danger in this man's hands. It's the worst thing a man can do to himself. To beat a woman. And the worst thing a woman can do to herself. To have premarital sex. In songs of Solomon. Chapter 8, verse 8. To 10. We have a young sister and her breasts are not yet grown. What shall we do for our sister for the day she is spoken for? If she is a wall. A wall means no one has entered. That means virgin. This is a wall. We will build towers of silver on her. If she is a wall. We will build towers of silver on her. That means she is an expensive thing. We will honour her. Towers of silver. If she is a door. A door means someone or others have entered. Someone or others have entered. That's a door. A door. If she is a door. We will enclose her with panels of cedar. We will cover her with wood. Instead of silver. Towers of silver. If she is a door. She is a wall. Towers of silver. If she is a door. We will enclose her with panels of cedar. Wooden girl. Wooden boy. He has entered somewhere. Silver boy. Silver boy. He has entered nowhere. I am a wall. I am a wall. And I built a life tower. And I built a life tower. To his eyes. Like one who brings contentment. Like the girl's pride. I am a wall. The boy's pride. I am a wall. Darling. Darling. You are the first. You are going to be the first. And you will be the last. When you violate God's law. You destroy that which you were to enjoy. A curse. A curse. Because God's word was violated. Because God's word was violated. And from Genesis right to the end. There are curses proclaimed for the violation of God's law. And blessings proclaimed. For keeping God's words. I read you the last passage and stop. I read you the last passage and stop. I am writing a book on the theme. It is a big book. It is 50 short chapters. In Deuteronomy 28. The Bible says. If you fully obey the law of your God. And carefully follow all his commands that I give you today. If you fully obey the law of your God. And carefully follow all his commands that I give you today. The law of your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. Eternal your God. If you obey, come to the voice of the eternal your God. By observing and putting into practice all his commandments that I give you today. Eternal your God will give you superiority over all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you. And accompany you. If you obey the law of your God. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed. And the crops of your land and the yoke of your livestock. The calves of your herd and the lambs of your flock. The basket that you are leading through will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The enemies who rise against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction. But flee from you in seven directions. The law will set a blessing on your bands. And on everything you put your hand to. The law of your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. The law will establish you as his holy people. As he promised on earth he will keep the commandments of the law of your God and walk in his ways. Then all the people of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the law and they will fear you. The law will grant you abundant prosperity. In the fruit of your womb. The yoke of your livestock. And the crop of your ground. In the land he swore to your fathers to give you. The law will open the heavens. The storehouse of his bounty. To send you rain on your land in season and bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but brother from none. The law will make you head not the tail. If you pay attention to the commandments of the law of your God that I give you this day. And fully follow them. You will always be at the top and never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I have given you today. To the right or to the left. To the left or to the right. To the right or to the left. Bless, bless, bless, bless. However, if you do not obey the law of your God. And do not carefully follow his commands and decrees that I give you today. All these curses will come upon you and overtake you. You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country. Your head and your knees and jaws will be cursed. The fruit of your womb will be cursed. And the crops on your land and the arms on your head and the lamb of your flock. You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. The law will send on you curses. Confusion, rebuke and everything you put your hands to. You will be destroyed and come to sudden ruin. Because of the evil you have done in forsaking him. The law will plague you with disease. Because he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess. The law will strike you with wasting disease. With fever and inflammation. With scorching heat and drought. With blight and mildew. The law will plague you until you perish. The sky above your head will be brown. And the ground below you iron. The law will turn the rain in your country into dust and powder. It will come down from the sky until you are destroyed. Verse 27 The law will inflict you with boils of Egypt and the tumors. 13 sorts and each from which you cannot be cured. It just goes on and goes on. Verse 35 That cannot be cured. Verse 45 Until you are destroyed. Verse 48 Until he has destroyed you. Verse 61 Until you are destroyed. Verse 62 Verse 66 You will live in constant suspense. Filled with dread. Both night and day. Never sure of your life. In the morning you will say If only it were evening. And in the evening If only it were morning. Because of the terror that will fill your heart and the sight that your eyes will see. It's a terrible thing to disobey God and come under a curse. Do you see the curse walking in your life? Success seems to escape you. Success seems to escape you. It escapes you spiritually, it escapes you materially, it escapes you academically. You wanted to marry then you chose the man who will grind you to nothing. You wanted a woman who honors you and then you chose the woman who will call you dog. Each time there are two things you choose the wrong one. You are functioning below your abilities. If a disease comes to the town it makes sure that you are one of the victims. Even if there are very few. And you catch the most severe form of it. You always put your money in the bank that will get bankrupt. Where you choose a girl you always choose the girl who has a man whom she prefers. You get the job from which you get sacked. You are always sacked. If the sign is for 10,000 when you take it the sign is brought to 5,000. I must stop. I will stop by saying this. I want to stop by saying this. In the Old Testament one of the curses said curse anyone who comes to the tree. Jesus Christ became a curse by allowing himself to be crucified. For you. And in that act he took your curse upon himself and became a curse. As soon as you repent and come to him you become a blessing. And when you come to Christ you move from the covenant of the curse to the covenant of blessing and you function in blessing. The destinies of many people are changed when they come to Christ. And the destinies of many people are changed when they know of Christ they break the curses that were placed on their lives. And claim the blessings that are in Jesus. Already when you come to Christ you have changed kingdoms. You have moved from the kingdom of curses to the kingdom of blessings. And as you separate yourself from curses and leave all of the blessings that are in Christ you enter into the fullness of God. Like how we will continue in the meetings that follow. In the meetings that follow. You can't say this is a big thing but that's not the truth. You can't say this is a big thing but that's not the truth. Just announce it, just announce it. So we can't say that Christ is dying that Christ is dying or I don't know what it is but we can't say that Christ is dying or we can't say that Christ is dying or I don't know but we can't say no Christ is dying We can take the verse of it and say that you dishonor your mother and father and therefore you live a short and very unprosperous life. You will live a very short and very unprosperous life. Because the bullying occurs of more percent. And so when the bible says, honor your mother and your father, the verse will be dishonor your mother or your father and you will have a very unprosperous and short life. There are more verses even. We will look at that. We will look at how to deal with this. Of course, that includes the first step which is to give your life to the Lord Jesus. But there might be other things that you have to do. For instance, in my own case, I had to go see my parents and confess to them and repent before them. My father forgave me. They said that, well, we will take it as that you were young and kid that was hurt a lot. So, in short, they released me. So, we will continue on there. Sickness from Satan. The reason why the son of God appeared was to destroy every work of Satan. I want you to take your right hand and put it where you are sick. If you are sick in your right eye, you put it there. If you are sick in your neck. If you are sick in many places, put your two hands on your head. Or if you are sick where it is embarrassing to put your hand, put your hands on your head. It is in the purpose of God. That you be in perfect health. From spiritual birth to rapture. Pray with us. Lord Jesus! I am laying my hands where there is sickness. Place your all-powerful hand above my own. Place your all-powerful hand above my own. And let the power of Heaven flow. And destroy the disease in my body. Disease. I command you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to depart from my body. Disease. I command you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to depart from my body now. Now. Now. Disease go away. I destroy you disease in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And I destroy your symptoms in the name of Jesus Christ. And in place of disease I receive perfect health from the Lord.
