The End-Time Worship Movement: Full-Time Singers and Musicians
Mike Bickle

Mike Bickle (1955 - ). American evangelical pastor, author, and founder of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), born in Kansas City, Missouri. Converted at 15 after hearing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach at a 1970 Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference, he pastored several St. Louis churches before founding Kansas City Fellowship in 1982, later Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999, he launched IHOPKC, pioneering 24/7 prayer and worship, growing to 2,500 staff and including a Bible college until its closure in 2024. Bickle authored books like Passion for Jesus (1994), emphasizing intimacy with God, eschatology, and Israel’s spiritual role. Associated with the Kansas City Prophets in the 1980s, he briefly aligned with John Wimber’s Vineyard movement until 1996. Married to Diane since 1973, they have two sons. His teachings, broadcast globally, focused on prayer and prophecy but faced criticism for controversial prophetic claims. In 2023, Bickle was dismissed from IHOPKC following allegations of misconduct, leading to his withdrawal from public ministry. His influence persists through archived sermons despite ongoing debates about his legacy

Sermon Summary
Mike Bickle emphasizes the emergence of the End-Time Worship Movement, calling for a generation of full-time singers and musicians dedicated to worship and prayer. He asserts that the Holy Spirit is raising up a global movement where the entire body of Christ will function as a house of prayer, essential for the church's survival and effectiveness in the last days. Bickle warns that any ministry lacking a culture of prayer will cease to exist, urging believers to develop a spirit of prayer and support the worship movement financially. He highlights the biblical precedent set by King David in establishing full-time worship and the necessity of justice through prayer in the end times. The sermon concludes with a call to action for individuals to commit to funding this movement and to embrace their roles in the coming revival.

Turn to page 19, and look at the End Time Worship Movement. Father, we ask you now, even by the power of the Holy Spirit to stir our hearts. Lord, we set our heart to be lovesick worshipers of Jesus. We come to you in our weakness, we come to you in our brokenness, but we come with confidence that you love us, you delight in us, you will use us, you will reveal your heart to us and through us. We thank you in Jesus' name, amen. Page 19 in the teaching notes, gonna talk about the End Time Worship Movement. The Holy Spirit, right now in this hour, is raising up full-time singers and musicians in the worship movement across the earth. I'm talking about singers, musicians, intercessors. This will be their full-time occupation. I don't mean just the worship pastor, the one guy or gal, I mean thousands of them. We're praying for a million full-time singers and musicians to be paid to be in houses of prayer across the earth. Now, the Holy Spirit is speaking this right now, not to everybody, but he's speaking it in different pockets across the earth. I'm talking to leaders from many nations and they're saying the Lord is emphasizing, get the singers and musicians into place, get them full-time in houses of prayer and that region will break open in the power of God, in the timing of God. Paragraph A, the Holy Spirit is raising up the greatest worship movement ever in history. Matter of fact, it's already happening. It's emerging in the earth. It's raising up in the earth right now, but it is going to explode in the next 10, 20, 30, 40 years if the Lord tarries. It says in Isaiah 56, verse seven, it says that my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. And the phrase, the word I wanna look at is the word called. God names his house the house of prayer. Now he's talking about the whole body of Christ. He's not talking about prayer ministries. He's talking about all the redeemed across the earth, every born-again believer. When he looks at his people from heaven, he calls them the house of prayer. Now in the Bible, when God names a person or God names a ministry, it indicates their character and it indicates how they function in the spirit. So when the Lord looks down from on high and he sees the body of Christ, he says, you are a house of prayer that indicates how they will function in the spirit before the Lord returns. The whole church around the world will function as a house of prayer. Now I don't mean that everyone will do 24-hour worship with singers, that's not what I mean. There will be many ministries that will do that. But I'm talking about something bigger than 24-hour prayer ministries. I'm talking about the prayer culture, the church culture, I mean, in the body of Christ before Jesus returns, there will be a prayer culture in the entire body of Christ worldwide. The Lord says my house will be a house of prayer. If it's not a house of prayer, it will not be my house in that day. I'm gonna make a strong statement that I believe in. I believe that, I don't know when the Lord's coming, I believe it's some decades, maybe three, four, five, six, seven, it may be more, it may be less, I don't know. But I believe, again, there are people alive on the earth today that will see it with their eyes. It may be the two-year-olds, it may be the 20-year-olds, I don't know, maybe more. But I believe we're in that final hour of natural history. And I know this, that in the decades leading to the coming of the Lord, in those final years, I'm gonna make a very strong statement, any ministry that does not have a culture of prayer, I believe it will cease to exist. There will not be a church that does not have a spirit of prayer on it in the hour the Lord returns. It is not optional, it is not the thing those weird people do down the street. Now, right now, that is true. Right now, there's houses of prayer that focus on prayer, and there's local churches that have a couple prayer meetings a week. That's good, by the way, that's really good, having a couple prayer meetings a week. That's powerful, that's not small. But most of church looks at them in the West and goes, you know, whatever, they're a little bit funny. Before the Lord returns, there will not be any ministries. They won't exist. If they don't develop a spirit of prayer, they will either backslide and join the falling away in the false church, or they will be transformed to have a spirit of prayer. There will be nobody in between. The reason I'm telling you that is that your efforts right now in your young life, in your early 20s, most of you in this room, you are working hard to develop a spirit of prayer in a ministry. You're working hard to develop a life of prayer. I got good news for you. It's essential that you keep doing this. Right now, it looks like something that's a little bit, you know, it's kind of, it's good, but it's not, you know, it's radical, it's good, but it's more than that, beloved. It's essential because the day will come that every ministry, I wanna say it again, that does not have a spirit of prayer, they will either fall away and join the false abomination church, or they will be transformed and have a spirit of prayer on them. There will be nobody in between in those final years leading up to the coming of the Lord. The prayer movement, the worship movement, isn't just something a few fanatical young people down the road do. It is essential and critical to the end time missions movement. It is essential and critical to the body of Christ worldwide. What you're pressing for is prophetic, and it is essential, it is an issue of life and death in the decades to come. Now, you may be in your 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s. You may be sooner than that, I don't know. Nobody knows the day or the hour, but I know what you're doing by trying to break through and develop a spirit of prayer in your life. It is worth it, it is right, it is the voice of the Spirit speaking to you. Don't back up, don't back up. I don't care how many leaders, I don't care how many pastors tell you it's not that big a deal. The Spirit is speaking to the church, develop a culture of prayer, get singers and musicians in their place, teach them to prophesy, teach them to move in the Spirit, because the future is in the hands of the end time church as a praying church. What does it mean to be a house of prayer? What does it mean to be a house of prayer? I'm in paragraph A still. God speaks and it moves our heart. Then we speak back in prayer and it moves his heart, and then he opens his hand, or it means he releases his power. Let me say it again. God speaks through the written word, or God speaks by the Holy Spirit, a dream or a vision, or he speaks to us in a direct way. God speaks through the word of the Spirit and it moves our heart. Then when God speaks and moves our heart, we speak back to him, that's worship and intercession. Worship and prayer, intercession and prayer, I'm using those as the same concept. God speaks and moves our heart, then we speak, Lord, break it in power, and we move his heart, then he opens his hand and releases his power. This is how the end time church will function across the whole earth. He will release his power. Paragraph C, the identity of a whole church is a house of prayer. The whole people of God in the earth, from heaven's point of view, he sees them as a house of prayer and he's beckoning them to change their ways and develop a prayer culture in their church. I wanna say this strong, if you're not developing a prayer culture, you are missing God in your ministry and church. If you are not developing a prayer culture in your youth group, in your campus ministry, you are missing what the Spirit is saying. I know that is strong, but I wanna get your attention because it's real. You say, how do you do it? I don't mean a 24-7 prayer ministry, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a prayer meeting or two or three or four, whatever, maybe a couple of prayer meetings a week, but you're teaching your people to pray. You're teaching your people to do the first commandment. You're teaching your people to pray and you're teaching your people to do works of justice and acts of compassion as they win the lost and heal the sick. You will be in the right vein, in the right way, if you're teaching your people those things. Most of the body of Christ right now in the West is teaching things that just make people happy, man-pleasing, how to get more money, how to feel good about your sin without repenting, how to get a few more friends, how to get more stuff. We need to be teaching people the first commandment, how to get a prayer life, how to win the lost, how to heal the sick and how to do acts of justice and acts of compassion that are in allegiance to Jesus. That's the key phrase. So look at your ministry. Are you growing in your prayer life? I don't mean are you praying hours a day, but are you moving forward? Are you praying? Is there, are you more in the grace of God in prayer this year than you were last year? I don't mean you grow every day or every week or every month. It doesn't work that way. But as one year becomes the second year and the third year, can you see an increase of a spirit of prayer or the grace of prayer in your life? Are you teaching this to the people around you? Is your youth group focused on it? Is your campus ministry focused on it? I don't mean are you good at it. I mean are you trying to grow in it? If you are, you're in the right vein of what the Spirit's saying to the church. Now when God looks at Kansas City, I'll just use my own city. You could use this for your own. There are about 1,000 congregations in the Kansas City area. Some say 2,000. I'll just make it a round number. When God looks at Kansas City, the house of prayer in Kansas City is 1,000 congregations. The house of prayer in Kansas City is not the IHOP Missions Base. We're not the house of prayer of Kansas City. The house of prayer of Kansas City is the whole body of Christ. 24-hour prayer ministries like ours, we're not the house of prayer. We are a catalyst ministry. We are like a gas station. We are taking a cup of gasoline and we're throwing it on the prayer ministry of our city. We're not the prayer ministry. We're just a gas station throwing a little gas on the fire of the big prayer ministry of Kansas City, which is the whole body of Christ. The point I'm saying is this. The whole church is going to be doing this. Now, the Lord will raise up 24-hour prayer ministries, but they are to come alongside and serve. They are to come alongside and help. They are not the prayer ministry of that city. They are only a servant ministry to the whole body of Christ of that city. Paragraph D, Mark Anderson, who has been speaking in this conference, and his wife, Karen, he can tell you the story on some other time, but in a very dramatic way. On the very same morning, Mark was praying and the Spirit spoke to him. He said, if my house is not a house of prayer for all nations, it is not my house. And at the very same hour, at the other side of the house, his wife received a visitation from the Lord. And she told, the Lord spoke to her the same thing. They came together and Mark said, God, you spoke to me so radically. And she said, me as well. And they shared, it was the exact same word in the exact same hour in two different places. He came to me and he said, Mike, I had just been gripped by God. If it's not the house of prayer for all nations, it's not my house. They said, Mark, that is the word of the Lord. That's not an IHOP word. That is a body of Christ worldwide word for the whole church. Two years later, in December, 2006, Mark had a dream, a Christmas day, had a very powerful prophetic dream. He called me up right away and he said, the Lord spoke to me strongly in the dream. He said, the missions movement and the prayer movement are not two separate movements. They are one movement in God's heart. You are never ever to separate them because the missions movement is one movement. The prayer movement that doesn't have a spirit of prayer will not work and the prayer movement that does not have a commitment to missions, it will not work. It must be one river flowing together under my leadership. Paragraph E, Luke 18, verse seven and eight. Jesus said, shall not God bring about justice for his elect who cry for him night and day? I tell you, he will bring about justice speedily. Jesus said, I will release speedy justice. I will release speedy, let's keep the verse up there a few more moments. He said, I will release speedy justice. I know you know this verse, most of you. Shall not God bring about justice to who? To the people that cry out night and day. Now he's not talking about, again, 24 hour prayer ministries. He's not talking to Kansas City about the IHOP missions base. He's talking to the whole church of Kansas City. Church of Kansas City, if you cry out 24 seven night a day and the Methodist, the Baptist, the Episcopal, the born again Catholics, whichever, wherever there are born again believers, whatever denomination, they're crying out to the Lord and the cry is going forth to the Lord from cities of the earth and that's already increasing in these days. Jesus said, here's what I will do. I will give you justice. I will release speedy justice in that day. Paragraph F, justice, the definition of justice is making wrong things right. Whenever God makes something wrong right, that is justice. Don't limit justice to changing legislation that's evil. That is justice, but justice is bigger than legal issues. Legal issues are very important. Lou Engle's gonna talk on tomorrow a little bit about that subject and the Lord has given him clarity. It is critical that we take a stand against unrighteous legislation and we stand for justice. Absolutely critical, but justice is not limited to that. Justice is not limited to reaching the oppressed. That's critical part of justice. Justice occurs wherever wrong things are made right. That is the release of justice in the land. Let me give you an example. Paragraph one, or I mean, paragraph F. Salvation, when God releases salvation for the redeemed, that is making wrong thing right, that is justice. When he releases judgment on the rebellious, that is also justice. There is a positive side of justice, there is a negative side of justice. For example, when God releases revival in a city, that is God's judgment on compromise in that city. When God releases souls, thousands of souls, we're believing God for 300,000 new converts in Kansas City. That was the number the Holy Spirit gave us. We are believing for 300,000 converts in our city. Now, we want more than that, but that's the lowest number that we can live with. 300,000 new converts is what I'm talking about. This will take the whole city operating in a spirit of prayer, the whole body of Christ I mean. This will take the whole body of Christ working together. When people get saved, it is a judgment on the kingdom of darkness. God is making wrong things right. He is releasing judgment on darkness, and it shows up as thousands of people getting saved in the kingdom of light. One part of justice is righteous legislation. It's God judging unrighteous legislation. We must cry out to stop abortion in our land. We will never, ever be silent on this issue. The slaughtering of the blood of 50 million babies in their mother's womb, we can never be quiet because there is a cry of blood rising in the land, and the only answer is to stop abortion. It's the intercessors crying out for mercy before God and speaking the word of the Lord to the legislators. The same with the same-sex marriage. That is a profound deception that is coming to our nation. That doctrine is born in hell, let me tell you that. We must, with kindness and tenderness, lift our voice and never, ever be silent. We cry out to God, and with tenderness, we talk about the value and the importance of every human being, regardless of their sexual orientation. They are valuable to God, but we cannot have unrighteous legislation in our land without raising our voice. And there's many other issues as well. Doctrine's born in hell. The kill the babies in the womb doctrine is a doctrine of demons born in hell. We love the people who participate in this. We must be tender, we must offer the forgiveness and the mercy of God, we must value them as very important human beings, but we love them too much to lie to them. We must tell them the truth because we love them. They must know the truth. It is a statement of love. The tolerance that says this is okay is a false tolerance. Love says there is another way, there is forgiveness, there is liberty, there is a new beginning. It's in Jesus on his terms. Every time somebody is healed, it is a judgment against sickness. My point is every time God breaks in, it's justice. He's making wrong things right, he's giving salvation to his people, he's giving judgment on the kingdom of darkness, but here's my point. Turn to page 20. My point is this. Jesus will give the fullness of his power to release justice only when night and day prayer comes forth from the earth. He says, I require night and day prayer from the cities of the earth. I will speak and move their heart, then they will answer back in intercession and they will move my heart, then I will open my hand and release my power. Paragraph G. Jesus rules the nations now and he rules the nations in the age to come through intercession. Did you know that right now Jesus is interceding at the right hand of the Father? Intercession is not something that Jesus uses for a few years of church history and then he throws away the idea. Jesus himself is involved in intercession and it says, look at this verse, Hebrews 7, 25, he lives forever, one translation says. He will make intercession forever. He will make intercession in the age to come after the second coming, when Jesus comes back physically to the earth. Intercession doesn't stop. Intercession increases to a whole nother level. Jesus will rule in the age to come through intercession. He will say, Father, and he will speak to his God. He will speak to the Father and the Father will release power to transform the nations, even to the full degree. We with resurrected bodies in the age to come, in the presence of God, we will still cry out night and day to release God's power in the age to come. Intercession is not something that happens for a few years in church history. Intercession is the way God's government is ran forever and ever and ever and the church in the end times will grow in a spirit of prayer before the Lord returns and if they don't grow in prayer, they will abdicate and they will backslide and they will deny their faith or they will be transformed one way or the other and embrace the spirit of prayer. There will be no neutral ground in those final years. Ministries that are casual about this, that are kind of, well, who cares? They are not hearing what the Spirit is saying. They don't have to do 24-7, that's not what I'm saying, but they need to stir up their lives. They need to hear what the Spirit's saying whatever you're doing. Focus on the first commandment. Build a prayer culture in your life and ministry. Win the lost, heal the sick, disciple people, disciple nations. These are the things we must be about with all of our heart. Paragraph H, in Revelation 4 and 5, it describes the worship order before God's throne. Those nearest to the throne, the seraphim, the four living creatures, the 24 elders, you read Revelation 4 and 5, those that are closest to the throne of God, they pray 24-7. It is the most exalted occupation around the throne of God. Those nearest the throne pray the most. We're talking about in the age to come, those nearest the throne will pray the most. They won't pray, they won't neglect prayer. They will pray to the fullness in that hour. Prayer is not going away. Prayer is here to stay forever. It says, I mean, Roman numeral two, continue on the notes here. The conflict at the end of the age will be between two houses of prayer. As we reach those final decades, those final years even before the Lord returns, the Antichrist, who is a real man, by the way, there is an Antichrist spirit, but there's more than an Antichrist spirit. There is a real man coming forth in history that will be the most evil, demonized man that's ever walked the earth, and he will lead a worldwide worship movement. It will be a satanic worship movement. The kingdom of darkness has a worship movement that's going to explode worldwide. It is an imitation. It is the counterfeit of the true worship movement. In those final years before Jesus comes, the great conflict will be a conflict of two houses of prayer. Those in the kingdom of light and those in the kingdom of darkness will both be involved in worship and intercession with great energy, and both groups, both sides will have full-time occupation, fully-financed houses of prayer around the world. Did you know there will be satanic houses of prayer with full-time singers and musicians around the world, but there will be, they are only the imitation of the real, but the real is coming. It won't just be one here, one there. There will be houses of prayer around the earth with full-time singers and musicians. The Lord is restoring the occupation of the full-time singer and musician. Why do you care about that? Because the spirit is speaking to this. I'm not a singer or a musician. Someone says, well, I'm not a singer musician. Why do I care? I'm not one either. I care because God cares about it. I threw my life into this, not because I love music. I do like music, but not because that's my thing. I did it because it's God's thing. That's why I did it. There are businessmen and women. There are leaders in the church, leaders in the community with an apostolic leadership calling. Whether you ever sing or dance or play an instrument, God is calling many of you to build the house of prayer in your city and your region so that justice will go forth in power to your city and your region. Justice will not go forth in fullness separated from night and day prayer. You love your city. You love your nation. Build houses of prayer. Fund singers, musicians. Teach them to operate under the anointing of the spirit. If you love your city, build the house of prayer. Give millions to it. Give billions to it. Give millions of dollars to the house of prayer. The spirit is speaking this in this hour of history. The next 10 years, there will be many more houses of prayer. The 10 years to follow, there will be many more, and there will be billions of dollars year by year financing singers and musicians. This is what the spirit is saying, and I prophesy to you, the Lord is going to finance the end-time singers and musicians with supernatural finances. He's already putting his hand on men and women now in these early days, and they are being stirred by the spirit. I know a number of guys right now. They have set their heart to give a billion dollars to the worship movement. I know several that the Lord has spoken that. Wealthy men and women. I can think of four or five of them that I've talked to, and they've said, I will give a billion dollars to the end-time worship movement. The Lord is opening the way right now for me. He's giving dreams and visions to them. Now, a lot of business guys who are obeying God, the Lord has not spoken to them, but I'm telling you there's an army of leaders in the marketplace that God is going to apprehend to fund the houses of prayer worldwide. The devil has his finances, but God has his finances too. You wait and see. Young 18-year-old drummer, 16-year-old singer and violin player. You go, I don't know. You wait and see. The day is coming. It will be normal for full-time singers and musicians to be in the house of prayer as their full-time job. It's biblical. Paragraph B, the Holy Spirit is raising up the most powerful prayer and worship movement in history. Look at all the verses I have in the notes there. Read them. These verses are talking, most of these verses are talking about the end-time worship movement. They're prophesying the prosperity and the power of the end-time worship movement. Look at Isaiah 42. This is my favorite verse on the second coming. I got a lot of favorite second coming verses, but this is my favorite favorite. Isaiah 42, look at this. Verse 10, this is talking in context to the end times. You have to understand, it is talking about the second coming of Jesus. Sing to the Lord, verse 10, a new song. Sing his praise from the ends of the earth, not just the big cities, from the ends of the earth. The people who live in the sea, the people who live in the coastlands, the people who live in the wilderness, the people who live in the big cities, the people who live in the little villages, let them sing, verse 12. Let them give glory, let them declare praise. So we're talking about the coastlands. Think of the East Coast and the West Coast. Think of the coast of Europe, the coast of Asia, the coast of Africa. Think of all the big cities on the coastlands. Think of the big cities and the little cities in the mountains, the village cities. Think of the ones in the far out wilderness that are out in nowhere. They just seem like they've been left out. They're the cities and villages in the wilderness. The Lord said they will sing the new song. They will sing praise. Songs will arise out of the earth from all the places of the earth. And look what happens, verse 13. And when the Lord hears it, this is the second coming. This is a great verse describing Jesus returning. Jesus will go forth like a mighty man. He will hear the love songs of the earth and he will go, Father, Father, I must go. Listen, they're beckoning me from the earth and Jesus will arouse his zeal. He will stir up his zeal and he will release power against the works of darkness. He will release power against oppression. He will destroy the Antichrist and his kingdom as the songs go forth across the earth. Look what it says. He will cry out loud. Isaiah said, yes, you heard me right. He will cry out loud and he will destroy the enemy. Now listen, he doesn't do this in a vacuum. He does this when the songs go forth from all of the ministries across the earth. It stirs his zeal. He becomes like a man of war. He will release signs and wonders like no time in history. Signs and wonders that will surpass the miracles that Moses saw in the book of Exodus, the miracles of the book of Acts. Even greater works than he did, he will do greater works with these songs. This prayer movement explodes across the earth. He will cry out loud. Isaiah pauses, he anticipates the unbelief of the people, so he repeats it. He goes, yes, let's put the verse up again. He goes, yes, verse 13, he will cry aloud. Now my thought is this. What is he gonna say? Here, I mean, imagine all over the coast of Asia, all over the coast of India, right through the Middle East, through Egypt, through Cairo, Egypt, right through Africa, from Cape Town to Cairo to Cape Town, all over the east coast of Africa, Australia, New Zealand, all the islands, America, Europe, just everywhere. Up in Alaska, up in Greenland, in Iceland, the songs are coming. Jesus is at the right hand of the Father. He's hearing them from everywhere. I mean, it's a worship movement that's never, ever been seen before. The greatest love songs in all of heaven will be released in that hour of history. The great love songs of history is what I mean will be released from heaven in that hour. Beloved, the greatest love songs will be a cry of war against darkness because the love songs will be a war cry. The greatest love songs of history are yet to be released through the Spirit to the end time worship movement. They will release power. It says here, Jesus will cry aloud. Yes, he will cry aloud. His zeal will be stirred. He will cry. What will he say? I don't know. He will say to the enemy, no, I think he'll speak to us first. I think he will say something like, I love you, here I come. I don't know. I don't know what he's gonna cry. I can't wait to hear it, whether on that side coming with him or on this side going up. I can't wait to hear the first sentence he says. The earth will shake under his voice, but he will do it in answer to an end time worship movement. This is not gonna be the fruit of a passive church that's trying to be cool and trying to be so relevant. They're totally irrelevant. This is a church that is connecting with heaven and loosing the power of God on the earth. Turn to page 21. I know I'm getting excited and I just better calm down here. No, I mean, I'm gonna lose my voice, but I'll go down happy though, but I'm gonna lose my voice if I don't just calm down. Come on. Okay. Paragraph eight. David, King David, he had the revelation of the full-time singers. He put full-time singers in place. He was the first man in history to pay for them to function before the Lord. He had a revelation from heaven. God revealed to David, I want singers in place. And I have the passages there you can read on your own. I'm just gonna kind of do this abbreviated. Paragraph B. David, right after David became King of Jerusalem, one of the first things he did, he built a house of prayer. It was prophesied to him when he was just a teenager, you'll be King of Israel, you'll be King. So now he's King of Jerusalem. One of the first things he does, he builds a house of prayer. He establishes a tabernacle or a tent. He didn't even wait to build a nice building. He built a big tent. I don't know how big it was. Let's just say for argument's sake, it was the size of this platform. No, it had to be way bigger than that. Because he had 4,000 full-time musicians. I don't know. Let's say the tent was as big as this room, whatever. I don't know. He built a big tent. And he put the Ark of the Covenant in that tent, which spoke of the throne of God. You can read more about it later. He got 4,000 full-time musicians. He paid for them to be before God night and day. He got prophetic singers. He said, you're gonna stand before the Ark of the Covenant, which speaks on earth of the throne of God in heaven, and you're gonna sing love songs to God. You're gonna sing glory to the Lord, and we're gonna do it night and day, day and night, night and day. Now, I can imagine David's leaders going, where did you get that idea from? And David says, God told me. They go, yeah, we know where you got it. You're a singer, you're a music guy, so you wanna use the government's money to pay for music. No, David says, no, it's not about me being a music guy. I heard from heaven, and you read the verses, you'll see what I mean. God commanded him, I want singers and musicians. This is how they do it in heaven. I want it on the earth like it is in heaven. Now, we pray thy will on earth like it is in heaven. Let's make it more specific. We want a worship movement on earth like the worship movement in heaven. We want night and day singers and musicians on earth like it is in heaven. Now, of course, it's not the full glory until the Lord brings heaven down to earth at the time of the second coming and then after that. So look at 1 Chronicles 16, verse one. David brought the ark, which is the ark of the covenant. You know, it's about this big. He puts it there in front. He built a tabernacle, which means a tent. I don't know how big. He put Levites, which were singers, in front of it, and he said, I want you to worship all day now. Worship day and night. Paragraph C. David established full-time occupation for singers and musicians. 1 Chronicles 16, 39. He left Asaph and his brothers before the ark. Once he put them there, he goes, hey, I got good news. This is your new job. You're gonna do this day and night from now on. They were to minister before the Lord regularly. They were to do a full day's work, and they were to give themselves as their occupation to worshiping the Lord. Paragraph D. David gave financial support so it could be an occupation. 1 Chronicles 9, 33. These are the singers. They lodged in the chambers. He gave them housing to live in. They were free from other work duties. They were employed in the work day and night of worshiping before the throne of God. Could you imagine a million singers and musicians that are freed from other duties? I'm not talking about they live a carefree life. They are doing the work of studying the word of God, singing before the Lord, and then releasing his power to people, works of justice, winning the lost, healing the sick. They come into worship, and they go out to release his power on society. Paragraph E. David established 4,000 singers. 4,000, I mean musicians, 288 singers. Now the 288 singers, those were the first string singers. They were prophetic singers. I don't doubt that David had, if you use like the baseball analogy, I imagine David had like farm leagues or farm clubs, whatever you call it, where he's training up young singers that are gonna replace the main ones in the nation. He's training them up throughout the land, wherever. We don't have details on how he did it, but he's training up an army of singers and musicians that would replace those when they retire, and this would go on for decades. Now here's my vision. I've asked the Lord this, and the good news is the Lord said yes. I said, Lord, here's what I wanna do. This is not a commitment, so don't hear this as a commitment to you. This is my prayer. I'm letting you into my prayer life. I said, Lord, would you give me $3,000 a month to give to 5,000 singers and musicians? And I added it up. It would only be $200 million a year, counting a few buildings and lawyers. I said, Lord, would you give me $200 million a year to have 5,000 full-time singers? You know what he told me? Yes, I will give you more than that. I'm not committing to give $3,000 to anybody, but the Lord committed that he is gonna make the money available. I said, okay, give me $200 million a year and the Lord whispers in my heart, and he says, where's your faith? Okay, give me $2 billion and let me have 10 of them. The Lord says, okay, now we're talking. I'm serious, I'm serious. I am believing God for $2 billion a year to throw at his feet for worship to go forth in houses of prayer across the earth. Why not? Why not? Someone says $2 billion. I go, I know, it's only $2 billion. So what? I'm serious. Bill Gates invented, established the whole Microsoft thing. Here we got a guy with billions. I go, Lord, could you give the church billions? I mean, Bill Gates could pay for 10 houses of prayer, $2 billion, he wouldn't even miss it. I go, Lord, do you have more money than Bill Gates? He goes, yes, and I'm a lot smarter than Bill Gates too. Lord, touch Bill Gates. Lord, we ask you, we love this man. Touch him and visit him. Lord, reveal your son to him in glory. I'm not putting Bill Gates down, that's not my point. But Jesus has a lot more money, he's a lot smarter, and Jesus is committed to the end time prayer movement. I don't know what you're believing for, but I'm serious. I am sober. I wanna get $200 million a year for Kansas City, and I want $2 billion, because I wanna finance nine other ones or 10 other ones outside of Kansas City. I mean myself. I don't know what you're believing for, but I'm believing for that. I hope you believe for 10, go for it. I mean for real, I am sober about this. This is not a joke to me. This is easy to God, easy. The Lord whispers, will you fund singers and musicians? I said, Lord, I won't take $1 of it in my own life. I will not take $1 personally, and I will finance singers and musicians. There might be 1,000 of you across the earth that have that same vision. God just might answer some of you in ways beyond what you could imagine. I don't dream of a big house and a big car. I don't want a big house and a big car. I want a worship movement to fill the earth. I don't want money for me. I want to see singers and musicians night and day singing the love songs of God, releasing the cry of war into the land. Paragraph F, David gave $100 billion. Yes, $100 billion. You read the verse. One guy, I go $100 billion, okay, that would take me 50 years at $2 billion a year. I don't have 50 years. I gotta pick this up because David was Old Testament. We're New Testament. We're the end of the age. I go, if a guy could get $100 billion in the Old Covenant, what could we get in the New Covenant at the end of the age? I go, I better get a bigger vision. That would take me 50 years at $2 billion a year. Huh, well, Lord, let's blow the lid off this thing and see where it goes. Maybe some of you will believe God for a trillion dollars. Would you throw the whole thing at the feet of Jesus? I'm talking about, would you live simple? Would you live simple if he gave you that kind of money and build the house of prayer in the earth? Have no regard for your own life. Throw the whole thing into the house of prayer and see Jesus crying with a shout as the worship songs come from the ends of the earth. I want to be a part of that more than life itself. That dream has got a hold of my heart. I don't know what role I will play in it. I don't even care. I just want to do it with all of my might till my very last breath. And I know many of you have the same revelation. Paragraph G, God commanded David's people to uphold this order. God told David, David, it's more than a good idea. I command you to do it. I command you to do it. You must do this. And you must command the people after you to do this. 2 Chronicles 29, 25. Hezekiah stationed the Levites, that's the singers. He put them in the house of prayer with singing, with musicians, I mean, instruments. He did this according to the command of David, why? Because the command of David, see David commanded everybody after him, you must do it. I command you in the name of the Lord, you must put the singers and musicians in place. Why did David command it? Because it was the command of the Lord to David to command the people after him. Paragraph H, Solomon did it. According to the order of his father, David, 2 Chronicles 8, 14. According to the order of his father, he put singers, that's Levites, their duty was to praise the Lord in the way that David, his father, commanded him. David said, Solomon, his son, you better build the singers and musicians after me. And Solomon said, yes, sir, yes, dad. He goes, you better finance the singers and musicians. When the singers and musicians are gone, the potential of the expense of the kingdom is significantly minimized. We need prophetic singers and musicians all over the earth, night and day to fill the land. Top of page 22, paragraph B. When Israel went astray, whenever Israel backslid as a nation, God raised up spiritual reformers. He raised up men and women with the vision to restore worship in the way that David did. All the seven revivals that I have listed here after David, there were seven revivals I have listed here, all seven of them restored worship in the way that God told David. This is not an accident. When there was a revival, there was the restoration of singers and musicians in the way that God commanded David to put in place. Paragraph C, Josiah, in his revival, he put the singers in place according to the command of David. Look at 2 Chronicles 35. He said to the Levites, prepare yourself. Remember how David taught us? The singers were in place. This was all according to what God commanded David. Paragraph D, Chronicles 20. Jehoshaphat did the same thing. Jehoshaphat, the Levites stood up to praise the Lord. The king appointed those who should sing to the Lord. They came with instruments because God commanded him to do this. Let's go to paragraph F. Zerubbabel did the same thing. Ezra 3.10, he put Levites to praise the Lord according to the command of David. Paragraph G, Nehemiah 12. The Levites gave thanks according to the command of David. Singers kept the charge of God. David commanded. This is years later. This is centuries later. They are still listening to the command of David centuries later in the years of Ezra and Nehemiah. Six and 700 years afterwards, they're still obeying this command of David. Nehemiah 12, in the days of Zerubbabel, in the days of Nehemiah, and those were almost 100 years apart, Zerubbabel and Nehemiah. All of Israel gave tithes and offerings for the singers. They gave enough money to give the singers a portion of finance to live for a day. I mean, they gave them enough to live every day is the idea. Could you imagine if a million churches in the earth had a vision to support full-time singers and musicians? I tell you, these days, we're going to see this kind of thing in the decades to come. The Spirit is speaking it right now. I'll end with this passage. Have Misty come on up. We're just going to take a minute and just prophesy over you for a moment and then get you out in time to have a break before the session tonight. Nehemiah 13, the tithes. Now, I want you to follow this. Now, it's particularly those of you that maybe you're not singers and musicians. This is for the guys and gals like me. I don't sing or dance. I mean, I do, but they won't let me do it on the platform. They make me do it in the back room. You know, they say, we'll let you do it, but just not in public. I still do it though. I've asked Misty, let me be on her worship team. She goes, I'll pray about it. Misty, you've been saying that for 10 years. Have you got an answer yet? Still praying. Still praying. You're still praying about it. Okay, okay. Keep just, keep praying. Still praying. Still praying about it, okay. Praying for a miracle. Just think. The battle is raging. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. That's what I'm talking about. Praying for a miracle. She's just praying about it, okay. She'll see, she'll see the light. Mark my word. Okay, Nehemiah 13, we're ending with this. This is for all the guys and gals. You're not, you don't do the singing and then playing the music on the platform. Here's what it says. The tithes were commanded to be given to the singers. Now, I'm just abbreviating this to get through it fast. Then here's what Nehemiah said. I realize, verse 10, look at this. The portion, that's the money, the money for the Levites, meaning the singers, had not been given to them. For each of the singers went back and got their jobs and they went back to the field. Nehemiah looked and he said, Nehemiah went into the house of prayer and he said, hey, where are all the singers? They said, well, they all quit their job and they went down the road and they worked in the field. In our day, they quit their job. They're working at Starbucks for now. There's not enough money in the house of prayer. And Nehemiah said, they quit their singing to go get a job? He said, no, no, this can't be. No, no, this cannot be. There was a rage in his heart about it or a zeal that was stirred up is a better way to say it. So verse 11, I contended with all the rulers of the land. He said, emergency meeting, all the leaders of the land, quick, come to Jerusalem, we must talk. So the leaders come. He said, I have a question. Why aren't you financing the singers in the house of prayer? Why are they working at Starbucks? He goes, the Lord is not happy with this. So I gathered all the singers together. He gathers the singers together. He says, okay, guys, I contended, I delivered the word to these business leaders and they're stirred up. Go get back into your place. Quit your job, go get in place right now. So the singers got in place. They began to worship again like they did before. Look at verse 12, I love it. That all of Judah brought the tithes in. When the land, when the believers saw the vision of the house of prayer, the singers were in place, the money was released. Now some of you are in a position like me, meaning before there was any money, this verse stirred me. I begin to contend with leaders. Give me some money. I wanna pay singers and musicians. And a lot of them said, we'll pray about it. And I said, singers, get in place anyway. They said, we don't have any money. I said, I don't know, let's just figure something out. Let's all, you know, just took the little money we had. We divided it up, 300, 300, 300. They barely made it. I said, get in place. Money is coming. And then one year turned to two to three to four. Money began to come. We gave more and more singers. Money's coming, more and more singers. And the Lord's opening the store gates. And there are men and women right now who are stirred to give millions, even billions to the end time worship movement. I wanna call the Nehemiahs. Those of you in this room, whether you're 15, 50 or 80, you're saying, I'm not one of the singers and musicians, but if God would put finance in my hands, I would commit to build the house of prayer. No matter what it costs me, I will fund it with extravagance. If you have that stirring in your heart right now, a Nehemiah, this is my calling. Many of you have it to help finance. I don't have the money, but I'm raising it. And I'm believing God to give it to me. I'm believing God for 200 million, for 5,000 people, that I'm going to go to 2 billion for 10 houses of prayer, really 12 houses of prayer is the real number that's in my spirit. If you feel stirred, you say, Lord, if you'll give me millions, I will supply the house of prayer. I want you to stand up right now. Nehemiahs across this room, I don't care if you're 15 years old, say, I don't have a dollar, does it matter? If you have the heart, the money will come in its time. Don't wait till you get millions. Give thousands even now. Now, singers and musicians, look around the room. There's thousands of Nehemiahs standing up. I'm gonna pray over you for a moment. Then we're gonna have the singers and musicians stand up, which is the whole room. And then Misty and I, we're gonna pray over you for another few moments. Father, I ask you for these Nehemiah men and women that will contend, they will speak, they will present their case to others until the money is in the house of prayer. They will not be embarrassed. They will not apologize. They will not back down. They will not be silent until the house of prayer is built in their city, in their land. I ask you to give millions. I ask you to give millions. Lord, as they set their heart not to take it, and I recommit myself to you, I will not take one dollar of this in the name of Jesus. When you give this to me more and more, I will take a dollar of it myself. I will give it to the singers and musicians and all that's involved in supporting them. Now speak that commitment. The one I've just made, I've made it many times. You make that commitment to the Lord. Now Lord, give them divine ideas for business. Give them divine alliances. Give them prophetic dreams. Give them supernatural financing. Transfer the wealth of the nations into the hands of the missions movement and the prayer movement, which is one movement. God, I ask that you would give them a vision to finance a thousand singers and musicians themselves in the name of Jesus, amen. This could be a three minutes here that could change your life forever, this three minutes. Go ahead and be seated for a second. Now I want all the singers and musicians, here's what you're saying. You're saying, I would do this full time if God supplied the money, I really would do it. Even if it meant I had to live simple, that's fine. If, I'm not saying how much money I need. I'm just saying, if God provided the money, I would do this full time. Again, you may be 15 years old, you may be 50, whatever. You stand up, look at how many people in this room would go full time if there was money to support them. I'm excited, the Spirit is speaking this. He is speaking this, beloved, I prophesy to you, these things will come to pass. It may take a while, but they will come to pass. We're not backing down, we're not gonna be silent until we see them with our eyes. Misty, we're gonna just pray over you for a minute. Singers and musicians, help is coming. Help is coming your way. Help is coming your way. My eyes are on you, says the Lord. I see you, singers and musicians. I will make a way.
