Now, here's what Jesus is coming for in Ephesians 5 verse 27. That he is going to present to him the church and all her what? She's gonna have joy. Why? She's gonna have no spots, she's not gonna have no wrinkle or any such thing, but she's going to be what? Holy and blameless. Now look at me folks. The Lord, the Spirit of God leads us to overcome and put to death the deeds of the flesh the character and nature of Satan. Are you hearing what I'm saying? That's how we go in and possess the land. Did I explain that last night? When you put to death the deeds of the flesh, then you remove these strongholds that the powers of darkness attach themselves to. Amen? And then, what is that? You're getting rid of impurities, right? You get rid of impurities and the Canaanite nations off the land, so you have what kind of heart? A pure heart is not a divided heart, is it? It's not a double-minded heart. And then, what does it look like? You have a new fruit. It's a fruit of the Spirit. It's called, after you get rid of all the nature and character of Satan, what comes out of his mouth? Love? Joy? Is there a man, people get hundred-dollar bills and they go all over the world looking for hives and everything so they can find joy? It's not a joy that the world don't know this joy. They don't know that peace. They don't know that love. It comes out of heaven. Are you hearing what I'm saying? That's the bride of Christ right there. You'll know them by their fruit and you'll also know false teachers by their fruit. They're the ones that go in and possess the land. Let me look at, let me see something. Against such things of peace, love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, stillness, there is no law. First of all, the law was not made for righteous people. The law was made for the unrighteous, those who are lawless and sinners and ungodly and unholy and homosexual and all the rest of the nature and character of Satan. And also, those who teach anything contrary, they pervert the gospel in any way. Anything contrary to the glorious gospel is under a curse. If you know any place that they're teaching you, you'll walk into the nature and character of Satan, they're under a curse right there. And they better break it. They better repent and turn from it because the powers are not there and they'll never get rid of them until they repent from it. Anything that's taught contrary to the word. Now you go back and read 1 Timothy and just be sure I said what I'm saying so people think they can still sit there under some banner that does not conform to God until they're sitting under a curse. Because it, that's what the law was made for, the unrighteous. Okay, now, so he's going to have the church in all her glory, she's going to be spotless, wrinkled, blameless, and holy. May I ask you something? Are they spotless, blameless, holy person you see up here with these deeds of the flesh and this character and nature of Satan? Is that right? Is that right, folks? Isn't that right? So now, he's going to have a church and she's spotless, wrinkled, blameless, what kind of nature is she going to have? The nature of God. Isn't that what Jesus came to perfect in you? Romans 2, 13 said not the hearers of the law is going to be just before God, but the doers of the law will be justified. When you become holy, blameless, spotless, and wrinkled, when you have that kind of heart, don't you think you'll love one another as Christ loved you? That's exactly what the commandments of Jesus told you in John 15, 12. He said greater love had no one they lay down their life. You cannot be holy, blameless, spotless, without wrinkle unless you lay down the character and nature of selfish ambition of Satan. Forget it! And any of it you want to hang on and hold on to becomes idolatry. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Because when you practice it, you're saying, I love this more than I do God. I'll not give it up. Amen. Now, how is this church going to be spotless, wrinkled, blameless, and holy? Look in verse 26. He's going to sanctify her. Sanctify means cleanse her. How's he going to sanctify and cleanse her? By saying some words? No! He's going to sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of the word, water of the word. Now folks, how did I explain to you last night that your heart is washed? When you come to love the Lord with all your heart and you come to this word right here, you let the word come in, you choose again, you say, Lord I love you more than I do greed. You show me greed, so the Lord will show you when greed's there. And because you, when you look at the word, you see a greed in your life, the Spirit of God shows you. When you read the word, it becomes, and then you'll repent of greed, because you'll turn from greed, because you love the Lord more than you do greed. But see, if you've never taught the proper way to come to the Lord, you have to love with all your heart, then you say, well, good Lord, how can I ever do this? You'd be like old Paul over in Romans 7, said, I agree with the law of man, or man, but if wretched man that I am, who's gonna set me free from this body of death? There's no way for me to get away from it. And that's where we've been walking at. He said, I practice the very things that I hate. But he said, I never would have known that you don't practice covetousness if the law hadn't said, do not covet. Of course, the law is not even preached today, most places. So you can't even know what sin is, you can't know what the judgment of God, you can't know what the wrath of God, and so people just get asleep. And that's the way the power of darkness wants it. Because when you're breaking God's law, that's when they get killed, steal, and destroyed. How many of you see that? That's the way they want it. So that's the way they, that's the way they lead men. And hey, they, the power of darkness will get behind a man and build him a tremendous reputation. And they go on and whisper to you, and get you to heart to go after him. Oh, his intellect. Oh, they, they find smart folks. The ones that the Lord's blessed with the most intellect. And then they get them to come into religious study, having never really repented of anything. And then they just have all kind of intellect insane. They come around and show you things you never know in the Word of God. Your heart goes after them. And while Satan is building a boastful pride of life in a man, anyone has a boastful pride of life in a man. In his life, the boastful pride of life, he can't lead you in righteousness and holiness, he's blind to righteousness and holiness. He'll only preach to you part of the Bible. He'll pick and choose through the Word of God, because he needs approval of man. Nichols knows his number to fulfill sepulchre ambition. So the part that's going to upset, like put, do it away with the nature and character of Satan, the flesh and selfishness and so forth like that, he's not going to do that, because the power of darkness controlling him, he might lose. So Nichols knows his numbers. A big tither as such. So then the powers of darkness work through him. They build his reputation. They work on the people. They get them excited about fleshly achievements, fulfilling his fleshly dreams and visions. How many of you see what I'm saying? And then while you're helping fulfill his fleshly visions and dreams, you're helping to build his reputation, and he's serving Satan, and so are you. And holiness and righteousness are 5,000 miles from you. You don't even know what it is. The only thing you do is have him stand up and hold a book and say, I believe every word in this book's holy. I believe this cover's holy. And that little thing, it hangs down holy. And cute things like that, see. But see, he couldn't stand there and tell you what holiness is, because he's blind to it. He doesn't know what righteousness is either. Jesus came here to wash you with the water of the word that you're going to be holy right now. You know what I recommend? I recommend to you that you be part of that bride. I don't know of two Bibles unless you've got yourself another gospel and another Jesus. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And when you know these things, you'll walk in the fear of God. That doesn't mean that you're going to go around, you know it's just a conscious fear. See, first thing, when I'm talking about the fear of God, don't get into strife and works over that. It's just a consciousness that God means what he says and says what he means. But hey, he made us, he knows our weaknesses. Are you hearing what I'm saying? But don't explain away any trials and things you want to go, don't explain away cracks in the sand because you're weak to that. You're going to suffer. Let me tell you something, there's no way out. You will suffer. You'll either suffer or when you hear this, you're going to, see, folks don't like a mess. They'd rather go out there and see you. You can go in and go run, turn your television on and all this stuff. And you'll please your flesh for your time that you finish on earth and just live in a pure hell while you're doing it. And then when you come, Jesus is coming and his reward is going to be with him according to your deeds that you've done. And while a lot of people are looking to be whisked out, he's coming in destruction and they'll be burned up and they won't even know it. Isaiah 42 says, if being burned and they won't even know it. Now, folks, are we in New Testament? Let me say it again. Are we in New Testament? Well, you know, that's kind of an interesting thing. Look over in chapter six. Children, obey your parents and the Lord for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with the promise. What did that get in your Bible to do? Take up space, honor your father and mother that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth back in the Old Testament when you talk about the commandments that you may prolong your days on earth. Did that get over there? That get over there for smart folks to explain away? Then you can go ahead and don't honor your mother and father, huh? And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in what? Discipline and what? Instruction of the Lord. Now see, folks, listen here. I want you to look at me. That's a perfect place right there for our church or for homeschool. People go into school. Now, when you start learning these truths and everything, your children need to be brought up and they learn how to control. They learn it a lot easier than you because you and I have to unlearn a lot of things. Are you hearing what I'm saying? But they don't have, you can be brought up and they can learn discernment knee high to a duck. They learn it a lot quicker than we can and they can pick up what people are saying. As a matter of fact, the pastor is telling me about his son and so forth today. But see, they're taught the ways of the world that gets you destroyed. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Now, your Bible said you bring them up in discipline. Is that what your Bible says? If you're without discipline, can I tell you something? And Hebrews 12, 8, if you're without discipline, you're illegitimate children. If you won't receive the discipline of the Lord, if you won't walk in discipline, you're illegitimate children.
