I'm Bob McLeod from Olympic Canada, bringing a message on the Roman verse, or verses in John 7, 37 to 39, about women's own living water. I'd like us to read, first of all, from Isaiah 44, a couple of verses there. "...for I will pour water upon him who is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit upon your seed, and my blessing upon your offspring. And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows upon the watercourses." And here God is promising two things, that if we are thirsty, he'll pour water on us. And he's also promising that he'll pour his Spirit on our children. And people sometimes say to me, yeah, that's true, these boys killed my kids, but they haven't responded. But you know, so he goes on to say, "...and they," that's the children, "...they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the watercourses." And he split, and the mother was gone. And after a long while, one day Dad said, your mom's coming back, but you don't have to listen to her religious talk. She got converted. Dad didn't like that, but he was glad to have her come. And she was a great cook, you know, so she came home. She told us many years later, the first thing she did when we got home was, she prayed and said, God, I'm asking you to save my four boys and my husband, and I believe you for that. And you know what happened? Nothing for 14 years. And I said, bang, bang, bang, truth shall prevail in the world. My youngest brother, Keith, was 36 when he was converted, and when he and his wife got married, they promised each other they'd never, ever become Christians. So it took a little longer for God to get in, you know, and he went into ministry finally, too. And my dad got saved when he was 75. But she had to wait 14 years. Well, she never gave up. ...tears and streams, rain shall go down before his mother, so down it should pass her by. It's the prophecy of Christ, "...and they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the watercourses." A man, he was a pastor, and he showed me how dry he'd been for years and years. And we prayed together, just God to search his heart, to tell him everything God showed him. And we were kneeling to him, and suddenly he went up and walked away. And I looked, and he'd walked to a pillar, and his arm coming around the pillar, just standing there.
