Good morning, and greetings in the name of that wonderful Savior we've been singing about. Amen. Welcome to each one. Those that are gathered here and visitors with us today, you are welcome here. Those on the live stream that are worshiping with us from your homes, God bless you, children's children are the crown of old men. I guess if I have grandchildren, I qualify as an old man, is that right? And the glory of children is their father. You know, it's what our nation observes today as Father's Day. I'm grateful for that, that there's a recognition of the value and the important role that a father plays in the life of his children. As I thought about sharing today, the Lord led me in a direction, I believe, to share here that I stand in a bit of trepidation, trembling, but yet trusting. I am a grandpa, by the way, 24 grandchildren, very blessed and grateful. A title I would give to the message this morning is, Anointed Fathers Walking in Humility and Purity. I'm old enough now that I've been asked a few times in life, Aaron, what would you say to me as a young father in raising up my family? And whenever I'm asked that question, it's very humbling because Janice and I, we have so much to praise God for and to thank God for, for His mercies, for His kindness toward us. Because I realize I made many mistakes as a daddy. I didn't do everything right. Janice and I, when we look at our family, we just say, glory to Jesus, glory to God. You delivered me from the mouth of the lion. You delivered my family from the plans of the enemy to destroy. You delivered us, Lord, and we are so grateful. Praise, honor and glory be unto Jesus. That is my first response, I believe, every time, because I know, I know but for the mercy and kindness of God and the goodness of God and the Lord, He loves mercy. And when He sees in us that desire toward Him, and in spite of our failures and our mistakes, we are walking with a heart that is turned toward the Lord, and we are beggars before Him, and we are crying out to Him for help. He sees that heart. I want to say this morning probably the number one thing for us daddies is that we be clothed with humility. And you know that works itself out in everyday life to say, I was wrong. Son, I failed you there. Please forgive me. Be clothed with humility. Be quick to admit your failures. Don't be too proud to say, I was wrong. I'm sorry, I hurt you. You know your children know your mistakes, your failures. Be clothed with humility, daddy. And repent before God. And make it right with your children. Maybe you need to repent to your wife. Maybe your wife has been trying to point that need out to you, but you're too proud to hear it from her. Repent before God. Perhaps you even need to repent before your boss at work, maybe even your elder. This morning be clothed with humility. Turn from your prideful and wicked selfish ways. Submit yourself to God. Be clothed with humility. Draw nigh to God with a true heart, full of assurance and faith, because God is waiting for you to come. And He will run to your aid. God helps the needy. Submit yourself to God. Submit yourself to your wife. Did you know Ephesians 5 tells us submitting one to another in the fear of God? And then it gives some specific order for a proper order in the home. But it calls us first to submit to God and to submit one to another. Daddy, would your wife say that you're a humble daddy? Well, we can say I'm submitted to God, but you know what real evidence is? Am I submitted to the authorities in my life? Am I submitted to my boss at work? Am I submitted in honoring my brothers and sisters in Christ? Am I submitted to the authorities in my life at church, at home, at work? Submission from the heart. Our children are really good in picking up the attitude and the spirit. We can maybe say right words, but if inside we're not honoring and joyfully surrendered and submitted, they'll pick it up. Far more is caught than is taught. Your walk outshines your talk. Honor, respect and obey those in authority over you. Let that be your heart posture and walk in that path and your children will be blessed. They'll catch it. Father, today you are the most influential example your children have of a father. We talked about the influence of a godly mother. Today we're talking about daddies. Daddies who are anointed by the Holy Ghost of God and who walk in humility and purity. Oh, blessing, blessing flows. You know the old saying, like father, like son. I was told many times in my life by people that met my daddy, my pop. We called him pop, you know. You know, Aaron, you're just like your dad. You know, we met my dad once and yeah, you're just like your dad. You know, just a chip off the old block. I'm going to suggest today that your children are at your mercy. They can't help but be influenced by your life. You are a major influence in their life. You have been entrusted a heritage from the Lord. Low children are an heritage of the Lord. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Your children look up to you. They trust you. They trust you to be, as an evil daddy compared to our heavenly daddy, they trust you to give good things to them. They trust you to be righteous with them, to be an upright father, one who walks in purity, in humility, in love. They trust you to be loving and kind and gracious. Daddy, don't violate that trust. Many times we have caught the tears from a crushed, broken spirit who was told, you'll never amount to anything. You can't do anything right. Such verbal and emotional abuse leaves scars into adulthood. Daddy, you've been entrusted with God's heritage. Don't violate that trust. We've also caught the tears from a dejected, depressed young person because they were disciplined in anger. They suffered physical abuse at the hands of their daddy, who should have been nurturing and loving them. Daddy, you've been given the heritage of trust from God. Don't abuse that trust. Your children are very vulnerable. Their hearts and lives are wide open towards you, daddy. Fathers anointed, walking in humility and purity. Oh, to have a daddy like that is a priceless treasure. And all of us, by God's grace and God's mercy and forgiveness and cleansing and washing, can be a daddy like that. As we cry out to God and we lean wholly upon Him, we can be a daddy walking in humility and purity and in the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God. This brings me to a very sensitive and difficult part of the message. Heartaches, broken pieces, ruined lives because of sexual abuse. I want to especially talk to the dads and the men here for a moment. How can these things hide in the church? It grieves our heart when we hear of another abuse case in the church. I believe one contributing factor is that we don't talk about it enough. It is rather veiled and kept in obscurity. Obscurity, the state of being unknown or a thing that is unclear. So it's veiled. Maybe there's even a false piety. We're above such things. We don't talk about such things. I'm going to ask you today, may I talk about it? Children, I want to talk to you a little bit this morning. I've got a little dolly here. How many girls like dollies? Yeah? Like to play with dollies? Yes. Uh-oh. Grandpa's not being too careful with his dolly. It's not a very good example. Don't follow that example. Here, let's try this again. Remove this book here. Yes. All right. Let's see how we do there. Are you going to stay sitting for me now, girl? Yeah. There we go. Ah, little boys, you like to play with tractors? Tractor. Oh, my grandchildren love to come to our house and play with grandpa and grandma's tractors. This is even a Massey Ferguson. Because you see, Grandpa Weaver, he was a Massey Ferguson dealer. And so he sort of collected some of these toy tractors and so when they moved on to their heavenly calling at home, he left a few with us. So yeah, we're so blessed with that. Man, children, how many love to play ball with dad? How many love to play ball with dad? Yeah, when daddy helps you play ball, that's a lot of fun, isn't it? Yes. Amen. Children, you are precious in the sight of God. God made you in His image. God loves you. And your Heavenly Father is good and kind. He loves you. The Bible tells us His angels are watching over you. Jesus loves you and blesses you just as He did the children when He was here on earth. He took the little children up in His arms and blessed them. Children, listen to me. Listen. Because I love you, I'm going to tell you some things. Sadly, sometimes people do bad things to children. And I'm going to share a few things with you children because I don't want anything bad to happen to you. And so that you know if someone is trying to do something bad to you. And you will know what to do if that should happen. Precious children, here are some danger signs. Listen to me, children. Somebody wants to take you away from your friends and take you away to a place where no one else can see or hear you. Be careful. Be careful. Don't go anywhere where it's uncomfortable, where you don't feel safe. Stay with your friends. Stay out in the open where other adults and other children are present and can see you. If somebody bigger than you says, I have something here that's a secret. Don't tell anybody. Don't tell anybody what I'm going to do. This is a secret just between us. Don't tell. Children, do you hear me? Children, that's a very dangerous sign that somebody wants to do something bad. And they don't want you to tell anybody. Don't tell. They talk to you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. They're saying things to you that are strange to your ears. It makes you feel sad or maybe even scared or confused. Children, if anyone touches you on any body part that makes you uncomfortable, run away. Go tell a trusted adult immediately. If anyone asks you to show them your private parts that you always keep covered, you don't show your nakedness, you keep your private parts covered, you don't show any other people. If anybody asks you to show your private parts, don't do it. Don't do it. If they show you their private parts, run away. Don't look. Children, this is so sad. There are some people who do bad things to children because children are vulnerable. If they touch your private parts or they ask you to touch their private parts or they make you do something that you don't want to do and you know it's wrong and they force you and they make you do it, oh, run away. Yell as loud as you can. Scream and holler and kick and run away. If anyone, no matter who it is, tries to do any of these things to you, go immediately and tell a trusted adult. Friend, no matter who it is, tell a trusted friend right away. And today, precious children, if any of the things I talked about today someone has already done to you and told you don't tell and you're living with that secret, go tell right away. Go tell. Go tell a trusted friend. And I want to tell you, if anyone tries to do any of these things to you or if anyone has ever done any of these things to you, it's not your fault. As a child, it's not your fault. This didn't happen because of anything that you did. It's not your fault. The bigger person tells you, don't tell. Maybe they threaten you with harm or shame if you ever tell. Maybe they even tell you it's your fault. That's not true. They are lying. It's not your fault. I tell you these things today because I want you to be safe and to be kept from harm and because I love you and because I believe if we would be more open about these things, some could be spared. Because some are living in confusion. They don't know what to do. A trusted adult violated them. And do you know that's often how it happens? It's not the stranger. It's someone the child trusts. And so it breeds confusion. They don't know what to do. This adult whom I trusted and whom I look up to said it was okay. It's especially damaging if that adult is a father. To violate a child in this manner must be the worst, most damaging crime of injustice against humanity that can be committed. Jesus said if anyone offends one of these little ones that believe in me, a millstone should be hung about his neck and cast into the depths of the sea. No, it wasn't the child's fault. I'm going to talk a little bit to the perpetrator. Don't blame the victim. And I want to qualify here. When I'm speaking of a child, I'm speaking of a minor under the age of 18. Often the victim is made to believe it's their fault. It's the way they behave themselves. They were asking for it. Or it's the way they dress. They were immodestly dressed. Don't blame the victim. If there's anyone here today, if there's any father who hears this today and is guilty of this crime, repent and turn yourself in to the authorities now. This shall not be tolerated. This is evil and wickedness. If anyone, no matter who you are, is guilty of this kind of crime, repent and turn yourself in now. Flee, flee, flee, flee, flee, flee, for mercy to the father now. It's very sad to hear of people who through pride and hiding their secret sin die in their sin. Afterward it is found out. Afterward it has been found out why that person committed suicide. They couldn't live with themselves because they were guilty of crimes against children and humanity. I want to say this here this morning out of love. If any father is tempted with this kind of reprobation of sin, seek help now. If you are tempted with lust toward your own child or towards a minor, seek help now. Fathers, hallelujah, anointed fathers walking in humility and purity. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. They will have revelation from God. They will have anointing from God as the father walks in his integrity. His children are blessed as he walks in his integrity. Ephesians 5.3 Fornication, uncleanness, covetousness, let it not be once named among you as become a saint. Neither filthiness nor foolish talking nor jesting which are not convenient but rather giving of thanks. For this you know that no whoremonger nor unclean person nor covetous man who is an idolater have any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. The ESV may bring this a little more plain for us in our present day English. Sexual immorality, all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you as is proper among God's saints. For you can be sure of this that everyone who is sexually amoral or impure or is covetous that is as an idolater has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. This is the word of God. It's very sad that this is a need amongst conservative churches today. It's very sad that it's a need amongst professed Christianity today. I would also have to say if you're guilty of fornication, adultery, of immorality, repent. It's a greater crime against an innocent child. But it is a crime against the awesome holiness of God to be viewing pornography, to be looking at a woman with lust, to be walking in impurity and have your heart defiled. As a daddy, when your heart is defiled and your heart is impure, you cannot raise your sons and your daughters in purity. Oh, the need for fathers to walk in purity. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Like father, like son. How many sons are caught in the snare of the lust of the flesh because daddy never overcame it himself. I want to hold forth gospel hope this morning. If you are listening to this message and you are guilty of any of the sins mentioned in the scriptures here, you are as a daddy or as a man or as a woman. First Corinthians 6, 9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But ye are washed, ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. The ESV. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor the drunkards, nor the revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. Such were some of you. I hold forth the gospel hope here this morning that the blood of Christ Jesus can cleanse a child abuser. Isn't that amazing? A child abuser can be cleansed and be washed. Glory to God! Such were some of you. But ye are washed, ye are sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Oh, the matchless love of Jesus! I hold forth gospel hope to you today. The abuser and the abused. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted. He came to bind up the wounded. There is hope for you today in Christ Jesus. Oh, Daddy, there is hope for you today. There is hope for you today, brother, in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to be washed and cleansed and redeemed and delivered. Daddies, I started with be clothed with humility, be humble. This is key because God resists the proud. And brother, sister, Daddy, we need God on our side. I need God on my team. Let us humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may lift you up. Let us humble ourselves up. Anointed fathers walking in humility and purity. Homes that are blessed. Children that are secure and happy and safe in their homes. They are safe with their daddies. Hallelujah! This is why I brought this message today. Because I love you daddies. I love you children. I want to see you happy. I want to see you blessed. I want to see you walking together in a joyful Christian home. God bless you. Thank you for letting me share. Let us kneel together in prayer. Our heavenly Father, bless and comfort your people. Father in heaven, bless and comfort the children. Father, I ask the blessing of the Lord God upon these precious children. And I pray that you will shepherd their precious little hearts. I pray, Father, you would deliver our precious children from the evil that is in this world, from wicked and evil men. Oh God, bless and shelter and protect our precious children and grandchildren. And Father, I pray for the daddies here today. Bless the daddies with a Holy Ghost unction to press into God. To cleanse themselves from all filthiness of the spirit and of the flesh. And to be fathers that are pure and humble and anointed by the Holy Ghost of God. Lord, I pray if there is anyone under the sound of my voice who needs to repent and turn from their wicked way. Oh God, that in your tender loving mercies you would draw them to yourself. And Father, that they would humble their hearts and repent. Run to Jesus to find washing, cleansing and forgiveness. If there is any little child here today that has been violated, oh God, bless that child and give that child comfort and courage to go tell. And Father, bring freedom and deliverance and cleansing and healing to this precious little children. Maybe someone is here today and they are already an adult and it happened way in their past but they are still carrying baggage. Lord, give them courage to bring it to Jesus. To come to the cross and to find cleansing and healing and comfort. Oh God, be glorified. Thy kingdom come and thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. This we pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. Thank you Brother Aaron for sharing God's word with us. Any needy daddies here this is the throne of grace where we can help, find help for our needs. Your children trust you daddy. They are looking up to you. You are probably the greatest influence they will ever have in their life. And especially in shaping their view of their Heavenly Father. And so, am I rightly related to my Heavenly Father? I can only give them what I have received. I really don't have any good thing in myself. But I know where to go. I have a good Heavenly Father. Is there someone here that would like to share this morning? Maybe you have a testimony of God's goodness to you as a father. And maybe in ways in which you were able to humble yourself and see the blessing of God coming through for your children as you walk that path. Or maybe you feel a need to humble yourself here this morning and make a confession. And open your heart and that we can pray for each other. Is there someone that would have something to share here this morning? Brother Elmer over here in the front. Yes, I just want to say thank you Brother Aaron for sharing. I know this is very difficult to share, but I am glad you came and shared, told me what you were sharing about this morning. I wanted to just encourage you to go for it and not hold back. The blood of Jesus Christ is awesome. He has cleansed me. He has touched me. He has forgiven me. I am so excited to serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And I just want to say one more thing. I want to say this. I love the children and I will fight for the children, but I want to say this. Any sexual activity outside of holy matrimony is absolutely demonic. It is wicked beyond our imagination. It is like an open sepulcher. I thank God for deliverance. I thank God for His love. I thank God for His comfort and blessing to my life. And I thank God that He has given me the opportunity to be a father and to teach and train my children the best that I could for His glory. Amen. Thank you Brother Elmer. Is there someone else up here? Brother Aaron, I want to thank you for sharing. Jesus bless you. I had to think God is good and His ways are good. Satan is bad and His ways are bad. I had to think Jesus loves the little children. He said let the little children come to me. Jesus is the one that values little children. He said one soul is worth more than the whole world, the things of this world. For us to agree with God, the children are valuable. Children, we want to bless you in the name of Jesus. You have a calling on your life. Jesus sees something valuable in your life. I just want to testify that God can set us free. Satan desires to have a demonic push on our life and Jesus desires to have that replaced with a push toward holiness. I had to think of our Heavenly Father sitting up there in heaven where the angels are saying holy, holy, holy. The Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come. It is just powerful how He is about redemption and light. Amen. We have a Heavenly Father that loves to give good gifts to His children, to those who ask. Maybe you as a father have found yourself failing in some of these things that were mentioned here this morning. Maybe you didn't see a demonstration in your life of a father that was able to give you a picture of what the Heavenly Father is like and there was a lot of failures there that maybe aren't healed in your life. Well, we have a Father in heaven that can heal that and you don't have to pass it along to your children. We can come. There's a fountain that's open for sin and uncleanness, for hurt and pain. That fountain is open today and the Father is there ready to welcome you. Is there anyone else up front here? Thank you Brother Aaron also for the willingness and the amount of energy, spiritual energy, emotional energy it takes to address a subject like that. I've in my experience relating with people, abusers and the abused and stuff like that, I see like there's a cry for on the abuser's side that people know. And then what I run up against often, talking to people that don't have any contact with this or think they don't have any contact with it, is that why are you even talking about it? It doesn't exist and when it does, it's better just to keep quiet. And so Brother Aaron, I really feel like this is really a step in the way of breaking things that us as a church have failed pretty badly in breaking strongholds that Satan has set up. So I just want to express that. Thank you. Amen. Thank you. Yes, the light. Walk in the light. And we're going to have fellowship one with another.
