| | A Pure Heart by Alan Martin
Topic: Heart Scripture(s): Proverbs 22:11, Ephesians 4:20-24 | | Description: Alan Martin takes us through the Scriptures to show that true purity is what is right in God's eyes, not man's. He then shows the way to achieve this purity: By taking heed to God's Word and receiving the Light--Jesus Christ. The pure in heart shall see God, and from the pure heart, enabled by God, comes forth gracious speech. (NOTE: This is the follow-on sermon to "Gracious Speech")

| | Confessions of a Pharisee by Alan Martin
Topic: Pharisaism Scripture(s): James 2:8-9 | | Description: Alan Martin shares his heart with the work that God has been doing in showing area's of pharisaism. There are many hard teachings and doctrines in the Bible yet under all of these things the mercy and love of God are paramount. At times we can "choke" and "judge" others without mercy. May God give us the mercy and love of Christ in our Christian walks. A very searching sermon. Do we REALLY fulfill the royal law? God is after the Pharisee in us, and it is His great mercy to do so to set us free. The danger in being separated to God is to really think you know and judge others critically and keep others away at a distance because they're not as easy to get along with.

| | Faith In The Risen Christ by Alan Martin
Topic: Resurrection Scripture(s): Romans 10:9, Romans 6:1-12 | | Description: Alan shares a powerful word on the significance and reason for the resurrection of Christ. This is a challenging word and really shows from scriptures some of the inconsistencies of evangelical belief in just the death of Christ but no emphasis on the resurrection.

| | Gracious Speech by Alan Martin
Topic: Speech Scripture(s): James 3:1-9 | | Description: "The Body of Christ is being ripped apart by a bunch of truth speakers," laments Alan Martin. Our report and observations of others around us may be accurate, but are they missing hope and faith? Like Aaron our job is stand and bless not curse, and like Jesus to bear long with the infirmities of others, not accuse. (NOTE: "A Pure Heart" is a follow-on to this sermon.)
