Freed from self, peculiar traits, And all independent ways, Lord, I would by Thee be built; With all saints together built.

Built up in love together, Each one his function render; Thus the body-life expressed, And all His glory manifest.

By Thy life, we'll be transformed, Unto precious stones conformed, Not just individual stones, But together be built a home.

Take my life moments and days, Let them be used for Thy ways; For Thy building, I give all, Let them be under Thy control.
