Create in me a pure heart, O God, Fully empty my spirit within me; So pure in heart, I’d see Thee, solely; Poor in spirit, the kingdom I’d receive.

Deliver me from all my iniquities; Take every veil and hindrance from me; My stone heart replaced, turned, single for Thy face, I’d behold and reflect Thee gloriously.
