Christ does not give you power to overcome sin because He has removed it.

There are no levels of being dead. Dead is dead. It is absolute and total. When you are dead in sin, you are completely dead to life, and any degree of righteousness cannot exist. That is impossible. When you are dead to sin, it is absolute and total. When you are dead to sin, any degree of unrighteousness cannot exist. That is impossible. Jesus does not give you power to overcome sin. Jesus has set us totally free from sin because He has COMPLETELY REMOVED sin from us, and if I'm free from something, I don't have to overcome it. Oh, that's powerful. If I've been made free from something, I don't have to try and overcome that same thing. Praise God. Amen. Like, I'm not living my life trying to figure out how to overcome ant sin. So I'm not saying, Jesus, you're going to help me overcome it. No, I'm NOW already free from that. It's never been an issue for me. Freedom: You need to renew your mind.

He has delivered you. He has set you free from these things; do not live a life of trying to overcome these things. Man, that's such a big deal, but most Christians actually won't believe that they will experience freedom until they die, living this lifelong battle against sin and lifelong battle against evil, but their word again reveals the truth that makes us free. So why am I talking about these things? You have to identify the problem before you can actually understand and receive the solution because here's the truth about somebody who's a slave. A slave cannot free another slave, and if you don't think that you need saving, then you have no need of a savior. As you begin to understand what Jesus did, as you begin to identify with that, then you'll begin to identify as a child of last Adam, not first Adam.

It is religion that gives you sin maintenance programs, but they can never work because Christ took away your sin, so how can you maintain something that does not exist? Ponder this truth and let it sink in: Christ does not give you power to overcome sin. Why? Because He has complexly removed and taken away all sin from you. There is no battle or war to fight because sin no longer exists for you. There is not even one sin atom left. Christ Himself removed all sin from You!!!!! You can NEVER OVERCOME SIN-make sure you know that for certain. Christ knew that, so He REMOVED sin from YOU. IT IS GONE!!

We'd say you had to die. How dead is dead? Am I dead enough? If you're in Christ, you're dead with Him to sin. It Is done. In Adam, you were dead in sin. There were no levels or degrees of death. You're either dead in it or you're dead to it. There is no other possibility. The Bible says that Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, who takes away, and here's the thing: when you've been made free from something, then you don't have to live the rest of your life trying to overcome it.

So sometimes we have the wrong perspective. I'm trying to overcome the very thing that I'm now free from, but what if I actually adopted the right mindset and the right approach and said, "Hey, you know what?" I've already been made free. So this isn't something that I'm going to have to struggle with for the rest of my life. This isn't something I need to overcome because I've already been made free. What if I started living from that place, from that mindset? I can tell you that when you actually adopt that and when you actually believe that, then you'll step into freedom like you've never experienced before.
