Comprises the islands of the Fiji archipelago, located in central Western Polynesia. Established as the Prefecture Apostolic of Fiji on 27 March 1863. Elevated to a Vicariate Apostolic on 10 May1887, and entrusted to the Marist Fathers. Elevated to the archdiocese of Suva on 21 June1966.
