A word occurring in the headings of Psa 4; Psa 6; Psa 54; Psa 55; Psa 61; Psa 67; Psa 76. It is supposed to signify in the plural ’on stringed instruments,’ as it is translated in Hab 3:19. Neginah, the singular, occurs only in Psa 61.
