Caleb’s second wife, who was the mother of Hur, 1Ch 2:19. From her, it is believed that the city of Ephratah, otherwise called Bethlehem, where our Lord was born, had its name; and this city is more than once known in Scripture by the name of Ephrath, Gen 35:16.
