Truth is best preached by being lived. Nehemiah was what he required. The best binding for the Bible is shoe leather. For thirty years Jesus only lived, just lived a simple, every-day life, lived all he taught those few after-years, and lived more than he could teach. A man embodying the truth of Jesus in his daily round is worth more than libraries of sermons, invaluable as these may be. Let’s live it, for Jesus’ sake.
