Lange's Commentary on the Holy Scriptures
Johann Peter Lange (1802–1884) was a German Reformed theologian and professor at the University of Bonn. His Theologisch-homiletisches Bibelwerk, translated and expanded into English by Philip Schaff as Lange's Commentary on the Holy Scriptures, is a massive multi-volume work covering the entire Bible. Each volume includes critical notes, doctrinal and ethical observations, and homiletical suggestions, making it both a scholarly and a practical resource.
