Proverbs 26:5

his own conceit: Heb. his own eyes

Proverbs 26:6

damage: Or, violence

Proverbs 26:7

are not equal: Heb. are lifted up

Proverbs 26:8

As he that bindeth a stone in a sling, so is he that giveth honour to a fool: Or, as he that putteth a precious stone in an heap of stones

Proverbs 26:10

The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors: Or, a great man grieveth all, and he hireth the fool, he hireth also transgressors

Proverbs 26:11

returneth to his folly: Heb. iterateth his folly

Proverbs 26:15

it grieveth him: Or, he is weary

meddleth: Or, is enraged

firebrands: Heb. flames or sparks

Proverbs 26:20

ceaseth: Heb. is silent

innermost parts: Heb. chambers

dissembleth: Or, is known

Proverbs 26:25

speaketh fair: Heb. maketh his voice gracious

Whose hatred is covered by deceit: Or, hatred is covered into secret
