Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible
John Gill (1697–1771) was an English Baptist pastor, biblical scholar, and theologian who served for over 50 years at the same church in Southwark, London. His Exposition of the Entire Bible is one of the most thorough verse-by-verse commentaries ever produced by a single author, spanning nine volumes and covering every chapter of the Old and New Testaments. Renowned for his deep learning in Hebrew, Greek, and rabbinical literature, Gill wrote from a strongly Calvinistic Baptist perspective.
