Jeremiah 32:1-44

Jeremiah 32:14 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. Jeremiah 32:14 — “and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days” - Comments - The Dead Sea scrolls were placed in clay pots and lasted 2,200 years before being discovered. Jeremiah 32:31 For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face, Jeremiah 32:31 — Comments - Mankind also provoked God until He destroyed the earth by a flood (Genesis 6:3). Genesis 6:3, “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” Jeremiah 32:42 For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them. Jeremiah 32:42 — Comments - God’s judgment brings calamities so that a people of a pure heart will come forth to be blessed by God.
