Expository Notes with Practical Observations on the New Testament
William Burkitt (1650–1703) was an English clergyman and author. His Expository Notes with Practical Observations on the New Testament (1700–1703) was one of the most popular devotional commentaries of the eighteenth century, reprinted many times. Burkitt's notes combine brief exposition with warm spiritual application, making them suitable for family devotions and personal study.
