A Commentary on Proverbs
Charles Bridges (1794–1869) was an English Anglican clergyman associated with the evangelical wing of the Church of England. His Exposition of the Book of Proverbs (1846) is widely regarded as one of the finest devotional commentaries ever written on Proverbs. Bridges combines thorough exegesis with rich spiritual application, drawing on centuries of Christian wisdom to illuminate every verse.
