14. The Priests’ Quarters (42:1-14)The priests will have quarters located both north and south of the temple. These areas will be where the priests will eat the most holy offerings, and in which they will keep their sacred garments for ministering.

15. The Measurements of the Outer Court (42:15-20)The measurements of the outer court are to be five hundred rods on each of its four sides. The distinction between holy and common in verse 20 is the difference between what we might call sacred and secular. It is the difference between worship and the common affairs of everyday life.
