Ethiopian] Zipporah called an Ethiopian or Cushite, from that Eastern Ethiopia, or part of Arabia, wherein Midian stood or bordered with it; Arabia containing other Nations also lying Northward upon the Arabick Gulph, or Red-Sea. Miriam her sister-in-law, seemes to envy her, and fall foul upon Moses: and being first and deepest in the fault more then Aaron, is exemplarily punished.
