Isaiah 47
COA1655This Chapter prosecutes the destruction of Babylon: and begins with the ruine of their State. And describes throughout it, her dejected and despicable condition upon her overthrow, together with the procuring Causes, and the suddennesse, and unavoidablenesse of it.
Isaiah 47:2
Uncover thy locks] Cast off thy stately head-tire; and go bare-headed, as captives and drudges are wont to do.
