04.00. ROMAN CATHOLICISM
ROMAN CATHOLICISM By Lorraine Boettner
Dr. Boettner’s careful and accurate review of Roman Catholic theology and his thorough and Biblical refutation of it has long been a masterpiece on the subject. The nineteen chapters cover every aspect of Romish belief and are presented here in five sections for the reader’s convenience. Combined with Hislop’s work, no more comprehensive review and exposure of the errors of Rome, their origin and their significance, exists in print.
CONTENTS Section I: The Church, priesthood, tradition, Peter.
Section II: The Papacy, Mary, Mass, Confessional, Purgatory.
Section III: Infallibility of Pope, Penance & Indulgences, Ritualism, Celibacy, Marriage.
Section IV: Parochial School, By what Moral Standard, Intolerance, Bigotry, Persecution, a System tested by its fruits.
It is my understanding that works published between 1923-1963 have a 28 year first term of copyright, and IF RENEWED, they have an additional 47 years. On Sept 12, 2011, the rutgers.edu, sanford.edu, and http://cocatalog.loc.gov renewal databases were searched and no renewals were found in those databases for Loraine Boettner, much less this specific work.
