Herod Imprisons John the Baptist (Luke 3:19-20) (Mark 1:14-15) (Matthew 4:12)
19But when Herod the tetrarch was reprimanded by him because of Herodias, his brother’s wife, and because of all the wicked things which Herod had done,20Herod also added this to them all: he locked John up in prison.
14Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,15and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
12Now when Jesus heard that John had been taken into custody, He withdrew into Galilee;
