SECOND WEDNESDAY OF ADVENT

Micah 5:2-5 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel.

Here is one more evidence that God keeps His word perfectly. It is a promise, actually a prophecy concerning the birthplace of our Lord. Christ was not born by fluke or chance, it was no accident. Instead, God carefully crafted and masterminded the entire event, even down to the place of Jesus’ birth.

Find encouragement today because God keeps His promises. He is absolutely true to His plan. He performs in ways that we do not always understand, but the end result is always according to His plan.

If you have any reservations about what God is doing in your life, admit that in a time of prayer. Recommit yourself today to be sensitive to His leading.
