A Word of Advice

Elders should teach on this topic so that the people will be informed, including God’s guidelines and restrictions as presented in 1 Corinthians 14:1-40. In small group meetings, church members should grow and mature in their expressions of the Holy Spirit. They thus can learn the difference between a manifestation of the Holy Spirit that is growing within them on one hand, and when it is something of their own soul, on the other. By being taught and growing in the exercise of their gifts, members can be a blessing in larger gatherings.
