Requiem aeternam dona eis Domine:
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
In memoria aeterna erit justus:
ab auditione mala non timebit.

(Note) Instead of the chant, if preferred, the "Graduale" and "Tractus" may be sung "recto tono": (text sung on one note) the organ giving a series of simple chords appropriately adjusted to the reciting tone.
