95 "He has followed Me fully!" Numbers 14:24

This was God’s testimony to the consistency of Caleb. May we obtain an equally good report.
To follow the Lord fully, is . . .
to follow Him with all the heart,
to follow Him at all hazards,
and to follow Him all our days.
There must be . . .
no reserve,
no half-heartedness,
no cowardice,
no seeking to please men at God’s expense.
Beloved, following the Lord fully, is . . .
the only truly happy life,
the only truly useful life,
the only way to secure a blessed death,
and a glorious eternity!
If we follow the Lord fully, some will scoff at us—and others will condemn us—but the Lord Jesus will commend us. Let us therefore make it our business to imitate the conduct of Caleb, so shall we inherit Caleb’s blessing—even a glorious portion in the promised land!
