Leadership in any organization is necessary. Without it there’s no focus, there’s no direction, there’s no sense of mission and accomplishment -where are we going? what are we about? why are we to do it? how are we to do it? how do we get from here to there?

What is the biblical model of leadership? It is not, by the way, dictatorship. And, the biblical model of follower-ship is not slavishly hearing and doing whatever you are told because the fellow in the pulpit said it. There’s a finely tuned balance as presented in scripture that a healthy church will try to follow and imitate in its activities.
