Verse 32

My foundation being what God has done for me, I have the consciousness of the goodness of God. If I am blessed myself, (see 1 Peter 3:9) I can show love to others: feeling that God has pardoned me takes away all bitterness from my life, from my manner of acting. Our Father having forgiven us, desires that our hearts should be in freedom towards all, and that we should act in peace and love. It is sweet to be thus set with God, representing in ourselves the character of God.
