About This Edition The Great Commission of Jesus Christ to His Twelve Apostles was written by Robert Milligan, and published in 1871, with an expanded edition in 1873. This 2012 electronic edition was created in order to give others access to this hard-to-find book. This book has been reformatted and edited in the following ways:
Misspellings and typographical errors have been corrected (for example, themsevles is now themselves).
Spelling has been updated to modern usage (for example, realise is now realize).
Old English words have been changed to their modern counterpart (believeth is now believes) except when it appears in a Scripture reference. The Scripture references are left as they originally appeared.
Greek, Hebrew, and Latin words are all placed in italics.
Bold font is used for headings and some listings in order to make main points stand out.
Lists within paragraphs have been made to appear like the list on this page, for ease of reading.
Some larger paragraphs have been separated into two or three smaller paragraphs, according to the thought of the sections of the paragraph.
The font style has been changed and enlarged for ease of reading, as such the page numbers in this edition will not match up with those in the original edition.
