Come and See
AFTER Philip had been called to follow the Lord he was anxious to bring others to his Master. He saw Nathanael, and said to him, "We have found Jesus." Nathanael seemed to doubt that any good thing should come from such an ill-famed city as Nazareth, but Philip answered, "Come and see." We read that Nathanael went, and he, too, saw Jesus, and owned Him as the Son of God. We who know the Lord may take a lesson from Philip, and may we say to those around us, "Come and see." People "without hope and without God in the world" need a Saviour, and if in answer to our entreaties they do "come and see" Jesus, with the eye of faith, they will not want to go back, but will say to others, “Come and see, for we have found Jesus!”
