The Jerusalem Sinner Saved

John Bunyan

Bunyan's 1688 treatise displaying the riches of divine grace and mercy extended to the greatest sinners. He argues from Christ's command to begin preaching repentance at Jerusalem — the very city that crucified Him — that the worst of sinners are especially invited to come to Christ, and combats the despair of those who think their sins are too great for pardon.
