Context — Food for the Priests
33They must eat those things by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no outsider may eat them, because these things are sacred.
34And if any of the meat of ordination or any bread is left until the morning, you are to burn up the remainder. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred. 35This is what you are to do for Aaron and his sons based on all that I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them.Cross References

And you and your sons and daughters may eat the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution in a ceremonially clean place, because these portions have been assigned to you and your children from the peace offerings of the sons of Israel. They are to bring the thigh of the contribution and the breast of the wave offering, together with the fat portions of the offerings made by fire, to wave as a wave offering before the LORD. It will belong permanently to you and your children, as the LORD has commanded.” Later, Moses searched carefully for the goat of the sin offering, and behold, it had been burned up. He was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s remaining sons, and asked, “Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the holy place? For it is most holy; it was given to you to take away the guilt of the congregation by making atonement for them before the LORD. Since its blood was not brought inside the holy place, you should have eaten it in the sanctuary area, as I commanded.” |

If the priest’s daughter is married to a man other than a priest, she is not to eat of the sacred contributions. Exodus 29:33 Summary
[This verse is saying that Aaron and his sons had to eat special food as part of their ordination and consecration process, which made them officially priests. This food was sacred, meaning it was set apart for God's use, and only they could eat it (Exodus 29:33). This process was important because it showed that they were being set apart for God's service, and it pointed to the larger theme of atonement in the Bible, which is fulfilled in Jesus Christ (Romans 5:11). By understanding this verse, we can learn more about what it means to be set apart for God's service and to reverence the sacred things of God.]
