2 Chronicles 8:17 Summary

This verse tells us that Solomon went to two important ports, Ezion-geber and Eloth, which were located on the coast of Edom. This shows us that Solomon was a wise and strategic leader who took initiative to build strong relationships with other nations, as seen in his interactions with Hiram in 2 Chronicles 8:18. By following Solomon's example, we can learn to trust God and use our talents and resources to make a positive impact in the world, as encouraged in Matthew 25:14-30.
