Mark 3
Worsley1 And He went another time into a synagogue, where there was a man that had a withered hand: 2 and they watched Him, whether He would heal him on the sabbath-day, that they might accuse Him. 3 And He said to the man, that had the withered hand, 4 then saith He to them, but they were silent. 5 And when He had looked round upon them with indignation, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He saith to the man, and he stretched out, and his hand was made sound as the other. 6 And the pharisees went out, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how to destroy Him: 7 but Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. 8 And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond Jordan; and those about Tyre and Sidon, a great number, hearing how great He did, came unto Him. 9 Therefore He spake to his disciples, that there might be a small vessel attending Him, because of the multitude, least they should throng Him: for He healed many, 10 so that whoever had maladies, crouded upon Him to touch Him. 11 And impure spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God: 12 but He strictly charged them not to make Him known. 13 Then going up into a mountain, He calleth for such as He saw fit, and they came to Him: 14 and He appointed twelve to be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach 15 and to have power to heal diseases, and to cast out demons; 16 even Simon, He surnamed Peter, 17 and James the Son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, (and He surnamed them Boanerges, which is Sons of thunder,) and Andrew, 18 and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, 19 and Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, even who betrayed Him. 20 And they went into a house, and the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat. 21 And when his friends heard they went out to lay hold on Him; for they said He spends Himself too much. 22 And the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He is in league with Beelzebub, and casts out demons by the prince of demons. 23 So He called them to and said unto them in parables, 26 is at an end.} 27 and plunder his goods; unless he first bind the strong and then he may pillage his house.} 30 for they said, He hath an impure spirit. 31 So his brethren and his mother came, and standing without sent to Him to call Him 32 and there was a multitude sitting about Him, and they said to Him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren are without inquiring for thee. 33 And He answered them, and said, 34 And looking round on those that sat about Him, He said, 35 my brother, my sister, and mother.}
