But Jesus repeating saith unto them, 26 And they were exceedingly amazed, saying one to another, Who then can be saved? 27 But Jesus looking upon them saith, impossible, but not with God; for with God all are possible.} 28 Then Peter said to Him, Behold we have left all, and followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, 30 houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands with persecutions; but in the world to come life everlasting.} 31 first shall be last, and the last first.} 32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed and afraid to follow And again taking the twelve He began to tell them what should befal Him, 34 the third day He shall rise again.} 35 Then come to Him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, Master, we desire that thou wouldest do for us what we shall request: 36 and He said to them, 37 they said unto Him, Grant that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy glory. 38 But Jesus said unto them, the cup, that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?} 39 And they said, We can. And Jesus said unto them, 40 and on my left, is not mine to give, but for whom it is prepared.} 41 And when the ten heard they were provoked at James and John. 42 But Jesus called them to and said unto them, 46 And they came to Jericho: and as He was going out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the way- begging. 47 And hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many rebuked him, that he might hold his peace: but he cried out much more, son of David, have pity on me. 49 And Jesus stopt, and ordered him to be called: so they call the blind and said to him, Be of good courage, rise up, He calleth thee. 50 And he threw off his garment, and arose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus said to him, I should do for thee?} And the blind said to Him, Lord, that I may recover sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, And he immediately recovered sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
