Matthew 5

1 And, seeing the multitudes, He went up into the mountain; and, He having sat down, His disciples came to Him: 2 and, opening His mouth, He taught them, saying, 3 the poor in spirit; because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.} 4 those who mourn: because they shall be comforted,} 5 the meek: because they shall inherit the earth.} 6 those who hunger and thirst for righteousness: because they shall be filled.} 7 the merciful: because they shall receive mercy.} 8 the pure in heart; because they shall see God.} 9 the peacemakers; because they shall be called sons of God.} 10 those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake; because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.} 11 ye, when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.} 12 before you.} 15 in the house.} 22 ! shall be in danger of the Hell of fire.} 30 from you; for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not your whole body go away into Hell.} 32 put away commits adultery.} 37 .} 39 ; but whosoever smites you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also;} 41 one mile, go with him two.} 45 in Heaven; because He causeth His sun to rise on evil men and on good, and sendeth rain on righteous and on unrighteous.} 47 do ye? Do not even the gentiles the same?}
