14 Bible Verses on Perfect

14 verses

In Scripture, perfection is a standard of completeness and maturity that reflects God's own character. Jesus teaches His followers to strive for perfection, just as their heavenly Father is perfect, in Matthew 5:48. The New Testament writers encourage believers to pursue spiritual maturity, with the apostle Paul urging believers to be transformed by renewing their minds in Romans 12:2, and the book of Hebrews affirming that God's work in believers makes them perfect forever in Hebrews 10:14. The book of James also emphasizes the importance of living a perfect, or mature, Christian life, as seen in James 3:2 and James 1:17.
