11 Bible Verses on Peer Pressure

11 verses

Following the crowd can lead to unwise decisions, as the wisdom literature of Proverbs cautions against walking with the wicked. The apostle Paul warns believers not to conform to the patterns of the world in Romans 12:2, instead urging them to be transformed by renewing their minds. In 1 Corinthians, Paul notes that bad company can corrupt good character, and he reminds the Galatians that seeking to please people is not the same as pleasing God. By standing firm in their faith, Christians can resist the pressure to compromise their values, as encouraged by 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
