In the body of Christ, believers are called to serve and support one another. As Galatians 5:13 and 6:2 teach, Christians are to use their freedom to love and serve others, bearing one another's burdens. The early church in Acts 2:44-45 demonstrated this by sharing their resources and caring for each other's needs. The apostle Paul also exhorts believers to prioritize the interests of others, as seen in 1 Corinthians 10:24 and Colossians 3:11, promoting a spirit of unity and mutual care. By doing so, Christians reflect the love and compassion of Christ.

For you, brothers, were called to freedom; but do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Rather, serve one another in love.
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
