11 Bible Verses on Finding God

11 verses

The pursuit of a deeper understanding of God is a fundamental aspect of the Christian journey. According to Acts 17:27, God is not far from each of us, and those who seek Him with a sincere heart will find Him. As Jeremiah 29:13 and Deuteronomy 4:29 promise, when we search for God with all our heart, we will discover Him. The wisdom of Proverbs 8:17 also assures us that God is near to those who call upon Him, and Matthew 7:8 reminds us that everyone who asks will receive, and whoever seeks will find.

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
I love those who love me, and those who seek me early shall find me.
But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
