12 Bible Verses on Excellence

12 verses

In Scripture, believers are encouraged to strive for excellence in all aspects of life, as a reflection of their devotion to God. The book of Daniel records how Daniel's exceptional character and work ethic earned him a high position in the kingdom, as noted in Daniel 6:3. The apostle Paul exhorts believers to focus on whatever is excellent, as stated in Philippians 4:8, and to work heartily, as if for the Lord, according to Colossians 3:23. Furthermore, Titus 2:7 and 2 Corinthians 8:7 emphasize the importance of exemplary conduct and abundant generosity, demonstrating that excellence is a hallmark of the Christian life.
