11 Bible Verses on All Sins Being Equal

11 verses

In the eyes of God, any sin separates us from Him and merits judgment, as stated in Romans 3:23. According to James 2:10, breaking one commandment makes us guilty of breaking the entire law, emphasizing the seriousness of all sin. Jesus' teaching in Matthew 7:1-5 warns against judging others, implying that we are all equally in need of forgiveness. The Bible consistently teaches that no one is righteous, as affirmed in Romans 3:10, highlighting the universal need for salvation and God's mercy. This understanding humbles us and leads us to seek God's redemption.

If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin. All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death.
