Poor Children

This highlights the moral imperative to care for those in need, including poor children.Moreover, Jesus exemplified this care in His teachings, emphasizing the value of children and their importance in the Kingdom of God. In Matthew 18:1-5, He teaches that receiving a child in His name is akin to receiving Him, underscoring the significance of valuing and protecting children, especially those who are poor and marginalized. Additionally, the biblical mandate in James 1:27 to look after orphans and widows in their distress points to a broader responsibility to support children facing poverty and hardship. Thus, poor children in the biblical context symbolize not only physical need but also a call to action for compassion and justice in society.
