Dreams
In the Bible, dreams often serve as a means through which God communicates with individuals, revealing divine messages, guidance, and prophetic insights. Notably, the Old Testament presents several significant instances of dreams, such as Joseph's dreams in Genesis 37, which foretold his rise to power and the future bowing of his brothers before him. Similarly, God communicated with Pharaoh through dreams (Genesis 41), which Joseph interpreted, leading to the preparation for a coming famine. These examples illustrate that dreams can be vehicles for God's purpose, offering both warnings and revelations. The New Testament also acknowledges the significance of dreams, as seen when an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream, instructing him to take Mary and the child Jesus to Egypt to escape Herod's decree (Matthew 2:13-15). In this context, dreams are portrayed as a means of divine intervention and guidance, emphasizing their role in the unfolding of God's plan. Throughout the Scriptures, dreams are not merely random occurrences but are considered significant and often laden with spiritual meaning, serving as a reminder of God's sovereignty and communication with humanity.

Nebuchadnezzars Dream
By Peter Bisset91225:34ECC 9:14ECC 10:11DAN 2:1DAN 2:44ROM 3:23In this sermon, the preacher draws parallels between the story of Daniel and the plight of sinners who are under the sentence of death. He emphasizes that it doesn't matter what men say or think, but what God's word says. The preacher explains that all have sinned and are condemned already, just like those in a death cell waiting for execution. However, he points out that there is hope in Jesus Christ, who came to save sinners and is our wisdom, deliverer, and savior. The sermon highlights the ignorance of human wisdom and the need for salvation through Christ alone.
